when i check *#*# code7378423#*#*
in service menu
Bootloader unlock allowed no
what should i do???
i need to unlock my bootloader
please pelp
get an unlock code from your network provider, some people have said that once they removed the simlock its let them unlock the bootloader. if that doesnt work then theres not much you can do untill someone works out another way to unlock it
no fastboot mode.
Theres only one solution I know of, and it may be a crazy one....
Use search first, and read the other 500 threads created on this topic ;-)
Short answer: No, not able to be done yet.

If you want to unlock the boot loader, use the wotanserver.com
* In addition to sim unlock you get an unlocked bootloader.
However, it seems to me that at the moment, this service does not support SXS
Try to write the administration service.

= the post above was completely unnecessary as it does *NOT* provide a way of unlockning bootloader for SXS.

What is a "rootable bootloader"?
For the Croatian members:
I've just called customer service of Vipnet( Vodafone) and they told me that there is no problem, you can unlock boot loader for only 480 HRK (~65€).
Well, if there's no free unlocking solution in few weeks I'll have to milk some cash. It's still better then locked for life.

Pay more for a phone that's SIM-Free and not subsidized by a network. That is the only way.

I'm not seller. I used it on my acro hd and i'd got the bootloader unlock allowed: yes.
What about U/P/Sola

and in case they have no answer:what::sly:
I suggest you change your service provider
You have to ask them about SIM unlock... Coz none of the silly call center employees don't know what bootloader is

If your carrier doesn't give you the sim unlock (or if it's too expensive) you can oay $24 to alejandrissimo, he'll unlock the network and then the bootloader, all in less than 15 minutes
Don't forget to click thanks if I helped
Hello friends...
My phone has unlocked bootloader & was dead before 1 week due to wrong ROM flashing by fastboot method.
I went to service center & they repaired my phone.
After repair IMEI is changed.
I checked my bootloader status & it is locked.
I tried to unlock it by same account which i used before to unlock but now it stuck at 50% with error that couldn't verify device!
Need help to unlock it if possible tell me official way.
How did you end up getting your phone dead ? Sorry for off topic but how much did it cost you ?

@Mech_sid I have gone through your output and your device has a 'cid' value of 0x0007 which shows that it can be unlocked. Those having 0x0000, 0x0003, 0x0007, 0x0009, 0x000B, 0x000C, 0x000D, 0x000E, 0x0014 and 0x00DE can be unlocked.
Other cid values indicate that you have a carrier or region locked phone and hence can't be unlocked unless and until you get approval from your carrier or any other relevant authority.
I suggest you contact Motorola directly here and they can help you out. I know people who had the same problem and they got it rectified. As long as the cid you have given me is correct, they will allow you to unlock.
They are not helping

@Mech_sid As I'm not a Motorola employee, I can't help you much. I'll try my best though. You can post a query here. That's the official thread for such problems. That's where the people whom I mentioned earlier got their problems solved. Hopefully, you should be able to unlock then.
Between, what did the email from them say? 'Go to Service center.'?
@aravindvnair99 yes, all the emails and chats from them says to go to authorized service centre and submit the device...

@Mech_sid Make that your last resort. Before that, check that thread I asked you to. Hopefully, you should get a reply from there.
Yes @aravindvnair99 I have it least priority.... and at the thread you have given I asked for help...hopefully I'll get a solution.
Hey @aravindvnair99 ,
On the thread you given, i had a very long discussion and finally they concluded that i have to visit service centre...
But i dont want to take the service as my device is 3 years old and there is no meaning of investing money on that...i just want its bootloader to be unlocked..
Now what should i do...is there any other solution?

@Mech_sid Well, then you have to visit the service centre. I don't think they should charge you for this. But I'm on sure on that part. And yes, as far as I can think now, that's your only solution unless and until someone finds a vulnerability in the bootloader.
Okay @aravindvnair99 ill visit there...and they will charge me for that because the phn is 3 years old... Thank you so much for concern..
