I'am a user of honor 7 (PLK-UL00)
I tried to root honor 7 but after the last step i.e to install SuperSU and then reboot your system,
My phone got stuck in boot loop then i started searching for a solution and found that i should install
another version for SuperSU which i did and that made my phone to always boot into bootloader.
Then i again went to hunt for a solution , I got that i had to install a stock ROM for my phone .
When i searched for stock ROM available for my phone i got ROMs available for only PLK-L01
So the question is that is it OK if i install PLK-L01 stock ROM in PLK-UL00 phone.
I'm struggling since a week ,immediate response will be appreciated

If you debrand with multitool I think you can.

B211 is latest. You'll have to install it using 3 btn method.
If that doesn't work, then use "Unbrick" from Multi-Tool

Oh, I forgot, there are 2 PLK-UL00 versions.
That ROM I mentioned is for C17, Chinese Dual SIM version.

I was rooting my phone and flashing recovery by tutorial on thumblr with bootloader unlock code from huawei.
I had flashed TWRP because I did all the same as in this tutorial. Today I want to flash on my phone cyanogenmod rom from modaco for example (write "huawei ascend y300 cyanogen mod" in google ).
But if I'm flashing it by TWRP it isn't working (when I'm flashing it there is an error). I have read that I must have CWM to do it, but now is the problem - how can I remove TWRP and install CWM? (Rom manager method isn't working, and when I flash CWM by TWRP it isn't working too). And when I flash CWM with unlock tools from thumblr recovery isn't working.
What can I do?

If you flashed TWRP Thru Fastboot just flash A CWM image as you would flash A TWRP image

I'm sorry if I'm posting this on a wrong place but I couldn't find a topic describing my problem.
I have Huawei Y300 for a few months now, and recently I installed Cyanogenmod 11 (Kitkat) on it (Root + Clockworkmod Recovery + KitKat + GAPPS).
The look of this ROM is fantastic (compared to the stock) but the performance is terrible (lag, restarts, app crashes...).
Now I would like to downgrade to Cyanogenmod 10.2 or 10.1, hopefully to get more stable and overall better performance.
Here is my procedure:
- I downloaded cyanogenmod 10.1 with gapps and placed it on my SD card.
- Entering the recovery I did a complete wipe/factory reset, formated data, system, cache, dalvik, everything!!
- Finally, I tried to flash new 10.1 but without success. As soon as I "click" on the file I want to flash, several lines of code appear and everything stops returning me to the recovery menu (later today I will upload a screenshot).
I've read on some forums that the "old" kernel install is necessary before trying to downgrade KitKat.
If anyone has the advice/sollution for me, I would appreciate it!

Hi, I have chinese version of phone produced i 2014. I wold thanks to all involved whom contributed, this rom is stabil, battery frendly and nice looking.
I use performance govement power settings, phone is then more responsive. I hope that development would continue in future.

You can solve your problem by flashing another modem from my post: How about some modems.

Updating MIUI stuck the boot screen

Tried flashing MIUI on Lenovo p780 phone. I was on the S124_ROW version of JB.
Flashed MIUI using TWRP.
Now the phone is stuck at the boot screen with MIUI logo. What can be done ?

Hello! I installed rum rum slx and installed MIUI (I followed the steps mention) flash card. I reboot after I gave google logo appears intermittently (when you close logo reappears) permanently. seeing that I do not function slx installed again but the problem persisted surprise. Completed as to Wipe Data and Cache gives me failed, when I give reboot superuser has a problem and I asked to solve, I came and reset button, MIUI was possible to intalare Chinese version and slx was Russian. please who can help me? (I want a solution all on card)

EPO Download fails and GPS keeps trying to locate but never finishes the process, help!!!

Hi. Try this:
1. Install stock rom S124
2. Root with Framaroot.
3. Install TWRP or CWM custom recovery;
4. Flash MIUI.
5. Good Luck.

Thanks for the timely reply.
Its solved now, all I had to do was keep moving in a vehicle to get the gps working
It took about 15 mins to pinpoint my location but after the first time it has lowered to about 15-20 seconds.
Its still a little problematic when i'm stationary so i'll keep an eye on this for a day or so before flashing again.

My wife just bought a P780 (from a chinese webshop).
Most likely it has a CN rom, but where/how can I be sure it has either a CN or ROW rom ?

Hello, i just got a honor 5x, non-rooted, bootloader locked, its running KIW-UL00C00B437, so its the chinesse version, i want to install lineage on it, reading the forums i found out that i need to downgrade the version to have a stock rom without Volte to avoid bootloops, but i cant find a method or the firmware to do it, this is my first huawei phone, so im a little lost, somebody can help me?

In official website of honor ,u can find non -volte firmware , download it ,extract it ,place the update.zip in home dictectory...der is a instructions guide in firmware zip ...follow it accordingly ...after that flash twrp using any recovery flashing app like flashify ....or use twrp official app ...then flash lineage os with gapps

Well, I came to you because actually I'm out of idea.
I was since 3 years on custom ROM (CM and Lineage OS) and due to substratum, I had a bootloop.
My problem is quite particular, after a total clean of my device and flashing the stock ROM, custom recovery cause me some trouble.
Whatever I try (CWM touch 6 or TWPR 3.1.1), I can't flash custom ROM (Lineage OS 14.1), TWPR or CWM crash 1 second after the flash command and reboot, with disable touchscreen and even by using old navigation way and try again, same problem.
Tried also to disable file signature check but no effect.
Quick summary about what I did:
- Device: Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505)
- ROM stock used: I9505XXUHOJ2 ( the build which is based on the CF-Root file i used)
- Tried to install CWM by ROM Manager and ODIN (v3.09)
- TWPR installed by TWPR App using file in .img and not the second option (tar.img) for LTE Internationnal Qualcomm.
-Checked the root before last attemptwith root checker and it was ok.
In advance thanks for your help and I really hope it's not too serious.

But I have small questions before:
I saw some threads about CWM and TWPR recovery "for" I9505, is there a huge difference between them and their basic version ?
And finally, I saw some threads on TWPR 3.+ issue for some devices.
An installation of an older version of TWPR or CWM could be a good way to explore the problem source ? (the stock ROM I use even after updates is quite old in terms of Android versions and patch)

I have also a SM-J600FN/DS, I am using OFOX, to first install the lineage-17.1-20210213-UNOFFICIAL-j6lte.zip
[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][j6lte][10] LineageOS 17.1
Install and running was OK, but like written some pb with phone calls.
Then I tried an other lineage-17.1-20200715-UNOFFICIAL-j6lte.zip
install was OK but at first start never trebuchet ended!!!
So, test the Arrow [ROM][10][J600X][ARM64] Arrow OS
Install and running was OK, but like with lineage-17.1-20200715-UNOFFICIAL-j6lte.zip same pb with phone calls.
I am thinking these 2 ROM with call phone pbs are not for the J600FN/DS but for the J600G
At last test the [ROM][10][ARM] YashxOS for Galaxy J6 2018
Install and running was OK and ALSO the phone calls :+)
Its default is to have gapps built in so I would like to root it to remove unwanted apps!
The .apk KingoRoot and kingroot fail to do so! (failed also with the last stock ROM)
