I have the m4 e2363 and i just want to know if i fash the e2306 latin generic version on it, would i get the same bands allowed on the e2306 version or the phone will hard brick?

Try to do marshmallow E2306 firmware here I think here it work
I dont know exactly how it works on xperia but in lg g2 mini "d610ar" i isually flashed d618 roms and worked ok

it wont brick your phone flashing d6503 to d6502, it would not allow wifi or mobile radio to work

This is a hardware limitation, i dont think you can however the info menu may show the options

If you want to root your phone you must have unlocked bootloader if you're on Android 6.0
If you are on 5.0 you can use rootkit(bl can be locked, but works only on Android 5.0)
