seems India release date is set for 11th Aug....

I will be buying the Note 7 mostly, currently on S6edge!.
Yep looking forward to buy it myself.. Although it should have come with Android N preloaded else Samsung will take its standard time to give update that's the worst part else it's a beauty and beast all in one

Launching on 11. To be available from 18th. All colours will be available in India. Expected price is 60-63k. Samsung store guys had a training yesterday to learn about the device. One seller is ready for pre-order. If we pay 5k, we can get the decide on 18th itself. Sammy will be offering the new gear VR free with N7.

Apparently Sammy is offering 256gb card or a gear fit2 in the US. So we should also get an option to select. But until it's launched, cannot say what we will get. It is also being said that China may get N7 with 6gb ram and 128gb internal storage.

128 gb card is for 3.5k and new gear VR will be around 5-6k but still an sd card is better. I hope it will be great if we can get 256 gb card. Which color are you buying?

That's correct. The 64GB is an online exclusive only..
After I week long debate I decided to get the 32gb. It probably will force me to use more cloud based services. I loaded my music I still had 16 gigs left. Instant win.

They let you upload something like 22,000 songs for free..
Yes it is. I use that and dropbox and it makes the 32gigs more than enough.

When I purchased my Chromebook Pixel is came with 1TB of Google Drive space for 3-years.. :good:
I don't think I will ever come close to filling that up..
That's awesome. I have 50 gigs from the s3 dropbox deal and the 20k song limit from Google music plus this phone is truly amazing. Go get ur 32 gig op so you don't have to wait for the 64. Hopefully we have helped.

I'm definitely going to need the 64gb. I have around 40 gbs of music that I want kept locally on the device. I've used Google Music and think it's great, but I don't have the data to use it like I would like to. The 64gb is a must and I'm a bit weary about purchasing it online due to the defects some are reporting. Does anyone know if these defects are as abundant in the AT&T version of the phone as they are in the international? I looked at one at the AT&T store and it seemed to be perfect.

I don't think there are any abundant defects in any version. I have a 64GB from ATT and it's perfect, except for the soft buttons not lighting up most of the time but I think they all do that to some degree.
Don't forget the OTG as well. It works great right out of the box. I just moved about 20GB of movie files off the phone onto a flashdrive and it was so quick I was shocked. I wish I'd paid attention to how long it was, seemed like just a few minutes.

I'm fine with the soft keys not lighting up. In fact, I'd rather them be off all the time and I'll make them that way if possible. I just don't see how or why it's necessary and, in the dark, it's excessively annoying.

I ordered a white 16Gb on from eBay for £377 using a 10% off voucher. Original price is £419 but you can get a 10% off voucher if you use an eBay account that you have not used for a long time. The memory swap feature would take a while to be implemented on the Mega as it's new to the market.
I dont think its that hard to change, i think samsung uses a similar file system.. Im sure its on the S4 octa core already.. Already ordered too late now loll

Tried it, it installs ok, but doesn't seem to do anything after that

All of the ones so far I have seen up for pre-order are either Black or White.

Would like to say, called T-Mobile today asking when I can jump. She said this month. Then, I asked how much would the S5 cost to jump too, she said $300 deposit, $15 a month. Pretty expensive for a jump. She said that's the standard price as of now. Did not ask for the full price

She wasn't allowed to reveal that much. But if you're planning on jumping, do it in store since it'll go by a lot faster. I doubt they're going to sell out, so pre order is not needed
I'm not pre-ordering a darn thing until I find out whether it's got a locked boot loader or not.
If not, then I'm leaving AT&T [and my grandfathered-in unlimited data plan] who definitely has the locked boot loader.
Was a nice surprise for me when it came up for me as 0$ down and 27$ a month.
The locked bootloader might not be too much of an issue but would be annoying if it is.
With them not lockinng down the S4 or the note with the recent updates I am hoping this one wont be locked.
I guess we will find out on the 11th

That's really nice. May I know how did you go through it and which forwarding service did you use? I would like to do the same as well but personally have no experience of using such.
@M.Noury Doesn't matter as the lte bands here are supported in the US model.only reason i would prefer to buy locally is the warranty

Also, Have a friend who works in huwawi here who is high in the chain of command, ordered 2 pcs of 128gb, he said he will bring them with him next week once he is back from his trip to HQ in China.
