Hello XDA,
I am coming straight to the topic, my sister has HTC DesireV (India) this phone was working well for a year and now its causing the same problem as other HTC devices has, the "RANDOM REBOOT PROBLEM". I searched over and found that keeping the phone over GSM only solves the problem as its a baseband problem but pone still reboots randomly.:crying:
Whenever this happens i immediately check the phone and battery for overheating but both of them feels normals and not heated. To make sure its not a software problem i flashed stock rom after unlocking and flashing CWM but still the same issue, is anyone facing the same issue please report here or tell me if there is any solution to this.
Thanks!
I just got rid of my samsung s6 edge plus due to its very poor battery life. Having used samsung for long I have finally decided to not buy Samsung now given its poor battery management. I am keenly interested in LG G5 but I have heard of the LG boot loop issue. Was about to get V 10 but a friend stopped me saying it had boot loop issue.
Can anyone advise if the G5 has bootloop issue. Also how does it compare with HTC 10
Thanks guys
no issues so far here and none that I am aware of
I am a proud owner of a G5 for about 2 months and I installed TWRP, rooted, reflashed stock firmware with LGUP, installed custom ROM and must say I did not encounter any issues at all
some minor tweaks here and there to the system like manual edit of some system files but that is all I did
Thanks, I am still deciding between HTC 10 and LG G 5. Will be picking one up this weekend hopefully.
Yesterday i experienced sudden lag on my phone (mate 10 running latest firmware)
It took forever to open phone or any application
It also. Happened with my friend too who owns p20 pro
Both were fixed with a restart but it was weird...
Anyone experienced this?
Hi, I'm new in this but I'm also desperate for help. For starters, I live in Venezuela so it's a bit troublesome to visit a proper tech service and stuff. Well, as I said in the title, the problem with my phone is that it keeps getting stuck in the LG logo. I've already flash it several times, but this solution only seems to work for a few days. I'll explain the problems in a chronological order
1) I dropped my phone in january and the screen broke, so I bought a new one along with a new touch screen. At that time, the only problem that I had was that, even though I had a SIM card in my phone, it didn't have any mobile network signal. I tried many things but gave up on that and the problem's still with me
2) In an attempt to fix that issue, I factory reseted my phone and since that time I got the feeling that something was off with my device but I dind't pay attention to it cos my phone was working appareantly fine
3)After that my device started to get laggy and I tought it was the battery because sometimes it was at 87% and when you turn it off and turn it on again, the battery was at 67% in an instant. It wasn't that bad so I kept using it like that
4) Sometime around last month my phone reboot itself (it was usual that when my device got reaaally laggy it reboots itself). The problem was that it got stuck in the LG logo so I look for solutions and end up flashing it.
5) It worked for a few weeks but the cycle started again. Laggy and then stuck in LG logo. I bought a new battery (wich works fine) thinking that this would solve the problem so I did a factory reset, flash it and then turn it on but the problem still didn't go away.
I'm desperate for help cos I need my phone to work and since I live in Venezuela, I really need the money and obviosuly, I can't afford to buy a new device. Could someone help me?
A little note here. I tried upgrading the software using "LG Mobile Support Tool 2014" but the app shuts down before downloading the upgrade. I don't know if it's due to my laptop being really old (Acer Aspire 5920). I know I have A LOT of troubles but I'm in need of a friendly help!
Hi guys, how are you? I'm having a problem with my S9+. I'm from Brazil and have the SM-G9650 model. My phone was working fine, but since last days, it randomly started freezing and rebooting. There isn't any specific task that I do when this happen, might open Spotify or Netflix and the phone freezes or be just scrolling through the home screen and this happen. Even with the phone locked on my desk, sometimes it reboot itself.
Already hard reset the phone, worked for maybe half a hour before started crashing again.
Any tips for what can I do? I was thinking to download the firmware on sammobile, but is it worth? The download is painfully slow.
I had the same problem and I'm on Tmobile in the US . My messages was freezing non stop. I had to do a hard reset and now all is fine . When my upgrade is available I will be switching to OnePlus because I'm getting tired of NO root on Samsung . OnePlus 6T has root !!
