Hello XDA,
I am coming straight to the topic, my sister has HTC DesireV (India) this phone was working well for a year and now its causing the same problem as other HTC devices has, the "RANDOM REBOOT PROBLEM". I searched over and found that keeping the phone over GSM only solves the problem as its a baseband problem but pone still reboots randomly.:crying:
Whenever this happens i immediately check the phone and battery for overheating but both of them feels normals and not heated. To make sure its not a software problem i flashed stock rom after unlocking and flashing CWM but still the same issue, is anyone facing the same issue please report here or tell me if there is any solution to this.
Thanks!

Hi, please in case I am in the wrong place do not blame at me, just inform and I'll stop to bother.
My problem:
HTC desire V bought on 2012 in Russia from offcial HTC center.
I am in Istanbul for work and my phone automatically updated software to 1.73.401.4
Since then continuous and random reboot usually when working (during the nigjht rarely happen). I already reset to factory default but no result.
Even being a total newbie I suspect there is something related to the geographycal area of phone. Am I right? Is there anything I may do to solve the issue which is creating me a lot of troubles?
Thanks in advance to all and sorry if I am wrong.
Orazio
Mine used to reboot all the time, updating to 1.73.707.1 stopped this and it's been fine ever since.
Hello Everybody,
I've encountered a problem with the Cyanogenmod releases for my One. In every single build of CM that I've downloaded for my One I always encounter the same problem: whenever my screen turns off (via locking or simply turning off due to inactivity) it will not turn back on, leaving my phone useless until reboot. I've searched everywhere in the official thread, googled extensively and have prayed to the gods at Google and I haven't found anyone experiencing this same issue.
Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?
AT&T HTC One (m7) on HBOOT-1.44.0000
Also, I know that there have been issues with the screen going off during phone calls and, once again, this is not about that problem--this is regarding the screen going black and not coming back up when I lock the phone.
Shouldn't you be reporting that bug directly to its developers, because the ROM is still under development?

Hi ! I was searching through the forum , but i couldnt really find a thread that describes this problem- sorry if it exists and i havent seen it. I flashed android revolution rom, before i had aokp. At first everything worked properly, but since 2 weeks the phone keeps shutting down for no reason(battery 60%+) and sometimes it turns on after 5 mins, sometimes only after many hours...also,it seems to run out of battery constantly when there are like 20 % left...so might there be smth wrong with the calibration? im starting to think it is a hardware issue and i have to flash the original ruu, unroot etc and return it for waranty. again, sorry if its offtopic-but i really want to fix the problem, would be great if anyone knows a solution.
Cheers
Hi,
This is Sreehari. I asked this question in the "XDA Assist" forum, but since there is no forum for my device I was suggested to post it here.
the following is what my issue is:
I have been sing Gionee Elife E3 from October last year. First 3-4 months it worked without any problem.. But after that, it started to have frequently signal strength problems..
Frequently the signal bars goes from full to cross very fast. I cannot make a call at that time, but if I put the same SIM in another phone there is no problem. Even rebooting the phone doesn't solve the issue. many of my friends started to say that it is impoosible to get me on the phone most of the time..
Then I gave it to the service center and they flashed it.. It worked well from that point for around 2 weeks, then the problems started again.. after that I started flashing it on my own.. I installed the Chinese firmware to install custom ROMs (for Indian firmware custom ROMs were not available till recently) to see how it goes.. I tried the ColorOS over the Chinese firmware and things felt alright for around 2 weeks again.. now the problems started again and more severe than ever.. the phone is practically useless now that it cannot be relied at all..
I completely annoyed and puzzled by these.. if it is a firmware problem how does it go away after flashing and return after sometime? Could it be a problem with the radio/modem software?
I love this phone, it is awesome model and I don't want to leave it.. can anyone help me? I am not an Android developer but I do have some knowledge on flashing, recovery, backups etc. I can post any screenshot or logs as needed.
PS: I have a doubt on its wi-fi range as well since that also seems to drop very fast, not completely sure though..

can anyone help??
Hi there HOX+ Forums
I searched a lot here but didnt found a similar Thread so far.
I got a HOX+ 64GB International version, according to the Shop where i bought it and the Warranty i got the Mainboard got Replaced by a New one
It came with the Latest Stock rom Bootloader Locked and Non Rooted etc.
I tried out the phone and it began to get some Random Reboots, sometimes it just freezes Vol+- still makes sounds but screen doesnt turns on (Not related to overheating or whatever)
Since i knew the Normal HOX already was *****y often (owned one a while ago) I tried to Flash and examine further.
Now i have the Android Revolution HD 8.0 and the latest Elite Kernel and the problem wont go away but occurs even more random.
I ran the Cpu Stress App from the Playstore for nearly 4 Hours!! No Shutdown nor a freeze and no Failures, also the Gpu+Cpu Combine test :good:
Cam Audio Wlan Bluetooth everything works, just the damn reboots and freezes come back all the time.
Any ideas what i could try to save the phone ?
I have Warranty on it but wont argue with the shop anymore (got quite trolled by the shop before) :crying:
*Bump* + Update
Didnt got any further with my Hox+ but experience less Freezes and Reboots now
I took it completely apart, cleaned all contacts and looked if it might be caused by a faulty Flexcable (nope)
Now with the Latest Stable Mokee 4.4.4 Rom and the latest Elite Kernel it runs much better/longer but still gets Random Freezes and Reboots.
I have a other phone so i dont care if i brake more at this point
Could my problem be caused by a Faulty EMMC chip?
Please Hox+ Community try to help me a bit
I am up for any hints
Even consider to make a Logicboard Oven Experiment (Like some people done it with Graphiccards) xD
Edit:Seen something strange,in the performance settings of the rom the Min Freq Jumps from 51-102 randomly even if i set 102mhz.
Is this Hox+ a Lifeform? Lol
