Firmware and Gapps for chinese Galaxy A7 (SM-A7108) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everybody, I am struggling to find a way to make a Galaxy A7 bought in China more International-friendly, with no success.
I found firmwares for different kinds of A7 like 7100XX but nothing for SM-A7108 not even a Hong Kong firmware.
I then tried to manually install apk's of google play service etc.. but with no luck with it either.
Is there something I can do to make it at least normal Android with all the google stuff and without the chinese stuff?
Thank you very much!
Phone Details:
Samsung Galaxy A7 (SM-A7108)
Android Version: 5.1.1 (A7108ZMU1APE1)
Knox 2.5.1

I'm using the same device with dual SIM and I'm afraid it may take more time for the new customed ROM and SU to be released..

Just the same device and problem. Does anyone know the solution?

[Q] Chinese i9308 galaxy s3 problem

Hello all,
I have encountered a problem on my i9308 galaxy s3 so I hope some of you on xda could help me out.
First of all, I got the phone from China Mobile. As such, there was no play store or any google related apps. Thus I flashed a custom rom using cwm.
Everything was fine, until I noticed the micro sim card was not recognized, and so I flashed everything back to the stock rom. But now, even though I do get bars, whenever I try to call, it says "not registered on the network".
I also tried flashing a custom rom in cwm then flash the i9308 modem in odin, but the stop sign symbol is still present. I also tried flashing an UK firmware (PDA) and the i9308 modem but odin fails at the modem flashing part.
Frustrated, I took the phone to the T-mobile store, but they figure out what's wrong with the phone. They gave me the number for tech support, but I have a feeling that they won't resolve this problem.
Thank you for reading this post, sorry for the long story, but I wanted to give the whole picture for my problem.
I would gladly appreciate any help at all, so post your ideas, even if it's far fetched.

No, the Galaxy S3 GT-i9308 is only sold by the company China Mobile, so if you've never lived in China, you probably have never seen one.
On another note, I'm still having the same issues. I flashed the i9300 (US) firmware onto my i9308 to basically turn the OS into an american version but now my SIM is not being recognized and the phone will not register for any updates. Im going to just flash back to the stock i9308 firmware, root it then uninstall all the chinese apps, flash to AT&T and it should work fine considering I was able to flash to ATT, previously, before flashing the i9300 firmware, and everything worked fine except for having problems getting the Google App store to work correctly and such...which I'm sure I can play around with it a little longer to figure that out. Anyways - hopefully some of my errors will help stop others from doing the same.
where did u get the stock firmware ?

[Q] How to install Google framework on China version G9250

Hi,
I got a galaxy edge s9250 from China. It doesn't have google service at all. It's there anyway to install it without root?
Or it's there anyway to flash HongKong G9250 rom on it?
Many thanks in advance.
I tried to flash the HK firmware for the China S6 (non edge), but Odin craps out and got stuck before the writing.
Even after unlocking the phone using the CROM service app from the Galaxy Apps store, I still got stuck at the same part in Odin.
You can try to flash the edge HK firmware and see if it works though.
If not, you'll need root access to flash the basic gapps package.
Questions belong in Q&A, not General.
Thank you.

Samsung S5 (SM-G900F) remove o2 branding

Hi guys, sorry in advance its probably been asked 1000 times, I have searched but get mixed feedback.
I have bought a Samsung S5 and unlocked it and want to remove the o2 branding and bloatware as I am on Virgin, I understand I need to root/flash the phone.
I found this which is the latest Virgin rom;
PDA/AP Version G900FXXU1CPL7
CSC Version G900FVIR1CPL1
MODEM/CP Version G900FXXU1CPL1
Region VIR — United Kingdom
Build Date 2016-12-08
Changelist 9493471
OS Marshmallow
OS Version 6.0.1
But others say there is a ROM I can download that is empty with no branding. There is also the custom ones ofcourse but not really interested in going to that level yet.
Can you advise if I am selecting the right ROM to download, I have found a pretty straightforward guide to flash it but if you know any recent ones it would be appreciated.
Finally my current Android version is 5, can I download an Android 6 ROM so in theory I am updating the Android version too when flashing it.
Thanks

Try with German Firmware with doesn't have branding .

Before you flash , Wipe Cache Partition.
Make first backup in order if something goes wrong!

Installing Different Samsung Combination File On A Samsung Galaxy A90 (SM-A908N).

Hello from Turkey to those of you who loves to share their knowledge to help people. I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy A90 5G (SM-A908N). I have to change the IMEI number of the phone before it is blocked. To do this, I need to install a Samsung combination file on it but the correct combination file has not yet released and seems like it won't while I need it. But there are other combination files available for this model of Samsung Galaxy. The only problem is they are for the phones produced for the different regions of the world; I mean not SM-A908N (which is Korean version of the same model) but SM-A908B, SM-A908F or SM-A908Q. So, what happens if I try to install one of these combination files using Odin, in place of my version!? After all, they are all for the same model of Samsung Galaxy, Samsung Galaxy A90 5G. THANKS FOR READING.
