Hi Friends.
I have searched and read much on how to do this yourself , but unfortunately it seems the framework.jar file is very different for lollipop.
These guides are for KitKat and out dated.
If possible this will make volume increments much more smoother on our phones. I used an xposed module before , but its unsupported now.
If you know of a current guide on how to or know which lines of code to change/edit in AudioService.smali i will greatly appreciate it.
I am not a pro , with these things but really want to learn. :fingers-crossed:

Isn't there an xposed uninstaller in the official xposed thread that you can flash to disable xposed? The result being you can boot your phone and remove pesky modules that are not behaving without having to do a factory reset.

No need to flash any firmware. Edit the status of persist.audio.fluence.voicecall in buildprop to 'false' and reboot your device.
Working solution

Could you explain what purpose does persist.audio.fluence.voicecall serve?
I see that changing it may solve the no-sound problem, but there's probably a reason it was initially set to "true". i'm curious because setting it to "false" may introduce problems somewhere else.

This line is for the noise cancellation in the device. But due to a bug, the device assumed all noise as background noise and blocked the sound. Setting it to false disables the noise cancellation.

Hello Everyone,
at 1st let me state that this is not my work, it's the work of @Dante63 that's posted and maintain by him on the Miscellaneous Android Development Section of XDA... i just helped him test it.
this works on OnePlus 3 & 3T.
Update Sept 2nd 2018
Version 2.0
based on 5.0.5 file was provided by @mcdachpappe big thanks to him
Updated to Magisk Template 17.0
Download from Google Drive
OR
Attachment
Version 1.0 (outdated and wont work on newer OOS 5.0.X)
OnePlus3/T Google Drive - SoundMod - TWRP + MAGISK
on the GDrive forlder there're 4 files
1- the original file used to make the mod (may be used to revert for non Magisk users without backup)
2- DYI file for manual placement with root explorer (system/vendor/etc with 0644 permission)
3- TWRP flashable zip
4- Magisk Module
Note & Warning /
when using this mod with AML (Audio Modification Library) you need to either install it after AML or replace the file "mixer_paths_tasha.xml" inside the AML module with the one in this mod, other wise the file included on AML will be the one working and this mod wont.
DIY Volume Level:
Speaker Volume isn't present in the mixers
Code:
<path name="speaker">
------------------
<ctl name="RX0 Digital Volume" value="90" /> <!--earpiece , default is 84, Safe up-to 95, beyond is DANGEROUS-->
------------------
</path>
again All thanks to @Dante63 to his work and support.

The magisk module works solid here. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you @theduke7 for creating the Thread, however I do encourage that I check the 3T mixer files, regardless it may work but there may be slight difference which if they had few additional features, they'd lose them... It won't take much time, If anyone can post the mixers for 3T and mention me, I'll check them ASAP and report if 3T is Similar to 3...

I got a request for OP3T on my thread for Oreo, and it was Stock Mixers, which Match the OP3...
Yes they are Compatible...
But I have no clue what are these Mixers here, Probably Custom...
The SoundMod will work regardless, but if their ROM depend on the Custom Mixer it (unlikly to happen) it will have issues...
So it's a Trial and Error for them...
But STOCK OP3T is Fine...
You can remove the Notice

this looks good, but sorry a bit confuse with this "on the GDrive forlder there're 4 files"
i have magisk, should i use "OREO_MAGISK_OnePlus3_3T_DualSpeaker.zip" only? Or should I do something with those 4 in different methods for each file?
and where should i paste volume level code?
thanks.

the zip you mentioned is right for you....
the vol level code need to be added to the file inside the magisk module then replaced...
open the module and inside the folder system > inside several folders there's an xml file, open in a text editor... the lines are already there, you can adjust the level ... max is 95 (or you're going to blow up your ear piece, also if you're going to use v4a or any similar audio mod also keep the level in the 84-87 range... max 90 if you're very cautious with the device volume...obviously this is do at your own risk thing, Dante63 set it up for the safe level.
Hello, I recently switched to a custom rom (evolutionX based on android 10). Everything works fine but idk how, now the audio output is only on the top speaker of the phone. So far it was working correctly from the bottom but not anymore and I can't find where I can switch that. Does anyone know how I could do that ?

Hello world!
I get this A7 2018, only the audio quality and loudness dont like me, my previous redmi 9t had better audio, so the A7 I thought that would be better than my redmi without dolby, so playing with some files in vendor trying to get a dual Speaker mod (not fully get and no good results i llave it) get with a .xml and trying I get good results for audio  I want to share it with all you.
Is for stock OneUI 9
With the help of kubura2999 the dual speaker finally worked, the original dual speaker file has an error with the headphones, it doesn't work, so I mixed the work of kubura2999 and my dual speaker and its now fixed, with some extra loudness
Use at you oun risk
Install with magisk and reboot
Thanks for you mixed_paths.mxl @kubura2999
Can you upload the same file, but in a zip?
I cant download the file and i have difficulties to copy and paste the lines on my phone.

edwin_ecoral can you test my files in the attachment for double speaker? To check does it work for you and anybody else.
If it does maybe you can include in your magisk zip.
Its not flashable zip in the attachment

Its working but the headphones doesnt work, I take a file that make my dual speaker working without the bug of headphones, thanks for you help
I just saw that you updated your post.
I also fixed my mixer_gain file to work for headphones to
I upload the file instead the double_speaker.zip for you if you want to compare the vaules or if you wana test more.
Or not, it dosent matter when everything works now.
Anyway there is a tweak more if you want to get more from the phone and get dual speaker which makes dolby work with speaker not just with earphones.
Just enter on the end of the floating_feature.xml which is located in sytem/etc this line:
<SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_AUDIO_SUPPORT_PSEUDO_DUAL_SPEAKER>TRUE</SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_AUDIO_SUPPORT_PSEUDO_DUAL_SPEAKER>
thanks, but I already had it
