This is what I use. That last one boots you into the recovery img you flashed. Obviously change the .img name to whatever yours is.

I'm sure, i typed "fastboot devices" and Nexus driver was installed.
I think After LGOG has converted to nexus 4, the internal storage has came ZERO Byte, so nexus 4 can't bootup.
Anyone have idea for me ?

Go into recovery and do a factory reset. Then go into fastboot and unlock the bootloader and install a customr recovery like CWM or TWRP. Then, go back into custom recovery and in advanced format SD Card. Reboot phone and good luck

Very simple- I've done this conversion many times, you just need to do something very simple- get to fastboot, and use the command fastboot oem lock and then fastboot oem unlock
after that you'll get a bootloader unlocking menu, press unlock, it will boot and all will be well.
Good luck!
My current MIUI Version is 7.0, its a newly bought phone but the version is not the latest. Can someone help me how to update it into latest. I've tried some other common methods but still I can't quite get it, can someone pm or post your replies about how to update.
PS: Still a locked phone, I want to unlock bootloader without permissions, can't wait for how many days for their permission -_-. (sigh)
Really need your feedbacks asap, very much appreciated for your replies in advance. ^_^
Downloaded the correct rom and copied into the root of the internal phone storage. Run updater > @THE top right corner clicked the three dot and choosed the update package to select the downloaded rom. Rom download link: http://en.miui.com/download-301.html

I've tried this method already but it says "Can't verify update package", can this be done with locked bootloader?
Screenshot of your about phone. I was updated my stable global rom to global dev rom by this. You can't changed rom from global to china rom or vice versa unless you unlocked the bootloader and flashed by miflash. Before my bootloader was locked and I can't flashed the china rom, it prompted me can't verified package. Now my phone was unlocked officially and rooted with twrp cofface. With twrp, I had the freedom to change rom.

Miflash still works regardless whether bootloader locked or not. Roms need to be flashed in EDL mode instead of Fastboot mode for locked bootloader users. Checkout guide posted on miui
Plus I did the same thing before and it does works.

Hello folks
Recently unlocked my rn3sd with official method. Then tried rooting with this tool. [Can't post a link, but that is some root folder. You can find it on Xiaomitips com]
Phone is rooted finely with a superuser app installed and other functions of root works. But When I switch to recovery some other sign comes and there is no recovery. Now I want to flash a rom but can't because no recovery. What do I do next, I want a twrp , can someone guide me how do I flash?
Used flashify, gave it root permission, the used flashify to flash twrp.img. you can used cofface twrp or alka twrp: http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/recovery-kenzotwrp-cafface-3-0-0-t3369341

Well first of all. This thread should be in the q&a section.. Also I don't think cofface will be able to patch miui 8 bootloader. U mite have to make a custom boot.IMG remove emmc then flash . I would recommended you to try resurrection remix(unofficial)ROM works great no bugs. And close the thread if ur question has been answered

I have exactly the same problem. I used the "Multi-platform 1-Click bootloader unlock for *rooted* 3rd Gen HDX (with VirtualBox)" from draxie to unlock the bootloader.
My Thor was on Fire OS version 4.5.5.1 and rooted it beforehand with kingroot, also I did have adb connection (although I do not have it anymore).
In the last step of draxies tool it was asked if I would like to flash TWRP already on the boot partition. I selected "no".
Now, it seems I am stuck in fastboot mode. Is there anything I can do?
Thank in advance for your comments...
Press and hold volup + power. Then device will reboot continue hold volup without power. You shold enter in twrp.

Hello.. I changed my moto's screen, the problem is that when I turn on the mobile, It doesn't start.. After 1 second It restart, and restart and restart. If I'm not using the usb connected to my laptop, the mobile don't turn on. I can enter to the "AP fastboot flash mode(secure)" but I can not enter to the Recovery mode, I had had installed the TWRP. Before It happend I was using the CM 13.
My phone is a moto e2 surnia xt1527. I think that I broke the phone when I tried to start the phone without the screen because I thought that I made a hard brick. Adb doesn't recognize my device. What's the problem? Does it have a solution?

Yes but It didn't work. I successfully flashed a lot of TWRP versions, but the phone reboots when I try to enter to the recovery mode.
Can be the problem that the fastboot is in the secure mode? ("Ap fastboot flash mode (secure)")

OEM is locked.
I cannot enter to the system to unlock this options.. Is there any way to unlock in the fastboot?
