Try Vol UP + Power button and tell me if it worked

first go to fastboot by pressing voldown+power... then flash twrp using command fastboot flash recovery xxx.img then reboot

Hmmm.....My TWRP gone missing...... :(

I Have been flashing different build between Resurrection remix and PauloBriens Modaco build, originally I could reboot to twrp just by the button combination, but now, i fastboot flash twrp, but it boots only into either a menu (options being reboot now, factory reset and clear cache), the only way i can now boot into twrp is to fastboot boot the twrp, i just want twrp as the only recovery....help please
Use
fastboot boot twrp.img
then use twrp to flash twrp.img as recovery

TWRP problem in MIUI 8

I was tried so many way to install TWRP in my redmi note 2 miui 8.
It showed sussefully installed TWRP.
But only stock recovery showed in recovery mode.
What's worng with my device or something error?
Thanks for your answers and supprots...
Thanks again
Try flashing TWRP again with adb and soon after you send the fastboot reboot command keep the vol+ button pressed.
It should boot into TWRP and this should prevent the stock recovery from restoring.

The best way - fastboot mode with PC. Yesterday, after update to MIUI 8, I was able to instal TWRP 2.8.7 using this way.
Maybe you make some mistake when push buttons... ( Phone off. press PWR and Vol + until phone vibrate, then release PWR button but still press Vol + until you see menu TWRP - 10-15 seconds )

View stock recovery instead twrp recovery

I unlock bootloader and install twrp properly but after Pressing power and volume up I receive stock recovery please help me

Looks like it has not been installed properly. When in fastboot mode, after installing TWRP it should automatically boot. I have had the same problem but gave up. Try run this TWRP with fastboot boot command first.
If I help you please express it.

TWRP flash succesful, but no recovery boot.

Hi All,
I have an Redmi 3 pro with unlocked BL and the latest "official" weekly 7.3.9 from xiaomi.eu and latest TWRP 3.0.2.0 from official twrp site.
I am unable to flash twrp.
I flash it with fastboot flash recovery recovery.img then boot into it using fastboot boot recovery.img with no issue at all.
Then,
if i reboot into recovery from twrp itself it still works.
if i let it boot the phone in its bootloader (POW+VOL_UP the one where you can choose "download" "fasboot" or "recovery") and i select recovery, it does not boot. The phone boots instead.
if i choose from the updater to reboot in recovery, same.
if i choose from flashify (which shows me "stock recovery" is installed), same.
if i use adb reboot recovery same.
i can only boot it using command fastboot boot recovery.img.
It just looks like the twrp flash says OKAY but it's not being flashed.
I've also tried cofface recovery with no success.
i've also tried official twrp app with no success.
everytime flash goes fine and successfully, but i'm unable to boot the phone in recovery itself.
i must always use fastboot boot recovery.img
Hints?
Hi @lalontra,
Use combination of Power+Vol(+)+Vol(-) button. It should boots you to recovery.
Regards.

You are not alone, its problem of this concrete ROM from 9.3.2017 ido.! You must flash different ROM, previous release.

Hi,
Did not work.
I have now reverted to 7.2.24 and TWRP from the TWRP from the phone is back. I think something is broken in 7.3.9 global weekly miui build.

The Volume+ and Volume- and Power worked for me even with the rom error. Hold all buttons til you see the Mi logo, then release Power but keep holding both of the Volume buttons. I also reflashed TWRP Recovery via Fastboot, so maybe that was it.
I'm also facing a problem around TWRP 3.0.2.
But different situation
I always failed/unable to boot into recovery or bootloader everytime I click reboot recovery or bootloader button in TWRP recovery mode.
I still try to find a way how to fix it. Because all the articles that I found always explain about "cannot enter to recovery mode from the system", not from the recovery mode itself.
Do you got anything from all the steps above? Please let me know if there something u can share. Thanks in advance
Here's what happened in my xiaomi redmi 3 pro. Always failed to boot into recovery again or into bootloader mode when I'm still in TWRP mode.

Update, once installed 7.3.23 all three buttons combination works!
What still does not work is adb reboot recovery nor reboot in recovery from update page, but this is fine to me.
Thanks a lot!

Hello there, Im also facing the same.
I can enter both recovery / bootloader from key combo but not from the system nor TWRP itself. I cannot really find a way to fix issue wich is kinda annoying for us flashaolics...
hope someone can find a way to fix it!

I'm facing same problem with you since updated to 7.3.9 Global Beta ROM.
I can only boot into TWRP by holding down Power + Vol Up + Vol Down buttons simultaneously.

redmi note 4 [mido] stuck on mi logo after twrp recovery

so I flashed twrp 3.1.1.0 mido for redmi note 4 and then as soon as I pressed reboot, it was stuck on mi logo.
i think its bricked but I don't know for sure. I read some place that dw verity must be disabled in twrp recovery. but I didn't find any option of dw verity in twrp settings.
so I took backup of my data and now I'm hoping to find a way to boot my device without losing my data.
I'm open to installing a custom ROM too if that solves the problem.
(I'm a noob )
to disable dm verify just flash lazyflasher.zip .you will find it easily in miui or xda forums in rooting threads.

Once you flash TWRP, you've to instantly boot to TWRP and flash lazyflasher.zip and then reboot. Otherwise you'll stuck at bootlogo.
Here's the link to lazyflasher : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862700328
How to fix :
*.Boot to fastboot mode
*.Flash TWRP using fastboot command fastboot flash recovery recoveryname.img
*.Next, do not disconnect your phone, use fastboot command fastboot boot recoveryname.img
*.once you're in twrp, flash lazyflasher.zip
*.Reboot.

Since I don't have a PC, No idea on how to push a file using ADB.
Google it or xda search.
BTW, you can still put an SD card and flash lazyflasher.zip from SD card.

I just get stucked. You can plug your Phone to the PC via USB while in recovery mode and it will recognize your SD and you can copy your "lazyflasher". No need to reboot after copying the "lazyflasher", you can install it right away. Thanks for the Help!
I Can't even go to fastboot mode.
Thanks!! Work Bro

Once you're in fastboot then try to install twrp recovery.
Once you successfully install twrp, then boot into TWRP (either using volume up + power button combo, or fastboot command without quotes
Code:
" fastboot boot recoveryname.img "
)
Once you're in twrp, wipe everything except internal storage and install a new rom and reboot.

Hi, just sorry for my lameness. Once the fastboot icon appears, what do I do? Should I connect to a laptop or desktop? Can I download twrp from google search and install in the laptop and then connect the phone to laptop? Can you help further? I am from India. If you don't mind, you can share your number at 9508414643. I am ready to pay for your guidance. I need the data, my daughter's memory and some crucial data.
