Hey guys,
I have a problem. I own the MXQ Pro with the Blue Board (V1). I accidentaly tried to flash a version of openelec for V2 and now it doesnt boot up. It only shows this message "can't access tty job control turned off". I can still get it to connect with the usb burning tool but after showing that it is connected for a few seconds it just disappears. IDK what to do. can any of you please help me out?

my lenovo a7000 doesn't turn on, can't go to recovery mode. also my first hardbrick experience. desperate for help.
whenever i use spflashtools to download a fresh stock rom to my phone, it always shows this problem
"BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032)"
I've also tried to format it, but the same problem comes up.
Then I saw this vid. It's about fixing any bricked china phone.
"How to Unbrick every MTK China Phone ! Preloader / SP Flashtool Fix [HD]"
(pls search it on youtube if you like. somehow i couldn't post links.)
I don't know, but I think this vid is trying to fix those phones that aren't recognized by the PC. But mine is recognized. It comes up on the Device Manager as a MTK USB Port (COM10) with the battery on. But it keeps on getting disconnected and reconnected again. But this stops when I remove the battery, put the battery back on, click on download on the spflashtools, then connect the USB. The error will appear, but somehow the connection becomes stable.
Also this video talks about META mode. With the battery out, I tried all of the key combinations to enter this mode, without success whatsoever. If you know something, pls. share.

I had the same issue 2 day before!
To fix it I was unable with windows,so I downloaded a spflashtool for linux. I started with sudo (root access) and made the same method with the windows version.Its worked for me! But wait one or two day,maybe somebody will know a solution with windows.
My Lenovo A7000 Does not turn on
While installing the official update marshmallow device switched of and then it does not turn on. If i put in charge then after sometime lenovo screen appears and the it shuts down again,. Cannot go to recovery mode also. The lenovo screen shows TOOL Dl image fail in the left bottom side.

originally came in with a @9 startup logo, nothing else.
Tried the Matricom rescue, sd wih the HDDGURU burner, again, Matricom logo stuck.
Tried another, cant remeber, but, aml8726 HD18 compatable, and now got a black screen, unable to sd rescue, with any other rescue firmware or method!.
I do not need to push the reset button when connected to various versions of the Amlogic burning tool, I get HUB connected, strange?
But, when trying to burn with various firmware, the tool stops at 2%DDR with this messege:
[0x10105002]Romcode/InitializeDDR/Read initialise status/USB Control setup error
and remains in a loop! . I have tried to Maskrom, shorting pins 5 and 6, no change! Tried different USB cables, and USB sockets, to no vail
The box does not show up as a connected device on My Computer (Windows 10), but I get a sound that it is connected.
The box is not detected by other tools, like Moboro, Airdroid, Phoenix Suite,Iroot
The World Cup drivers are installed !
When the box is connected only with USB, not the power supply, the blue light is on and get a sound as if connected, without resetting the reset switch.
Any comments please ?

I'm really desperate creating this topic, but about a problem i have with the flashtoom for my x96 Mini S905w
So far, i've tried
Using different versions of the USB burning tool program (2.06, 2.09,2.16)
Using differente firmwares (atvx 2FF, 2C, 2F, official x96 mini firmware 12052018, amlogic upgrade firmware)
Using Windows 10 and windows 7
Ticking and unticking erase flash (with normal erase, force, erase all) in every combination
Plugging USB while pressing the reset button with and without power plug
All of them give the same error : 0x10303004 (as attached in the image) at 4% percent uboot
Whats worse, the box seems to be softbrick (black screen on tv, nothing showing, even tried flashing with usb card maker with no luck, no recovery showing at all) at some point, still blue light, still recognized by computer but no sign of image or recovery on tv, even with sd card or usb recovery to flash (yes, i pressed the reset button too)
Am i missing something or something that i havent try yet? is it brick for good? I even open the box and attach the image, i think im using the correct firmwares. Please let me know if theres any solution to this. Im attaching the error log too.

can someone help me...how to enter recovery in X96 mini i want to flash it but i can not... there is a pin in AV hole which i keep pressing but no recovery mode, also PC does not see device etc...heeeeeeeeelp
You are flashing ROMs for s905w, instead of s905x.

If your LED is red and not turning blue, try to power on using USB male A cable and power adaptor.

Hello guys, recently my box (it's labelled as OTT A95X Pro, has an S905W, 2gigs of RAM and 16gb flash memory) died probably because I plugged it out of power while it was updating (didn't do it on purpose) and it seems that I have a corrupt bootloader. I can only see a red light now with the blue light never coming to life. I have tried a lot of ways to recover from this but I always get to a dead end. These are the following things I've tried:
- Used USB Burner Tool from AMLogic, my computer recognized the box straight away but I always can't get pass 2% when burning an image. Have tried over 15 different images for S905w and over 5 different versions of the tool with no success. Also tried changing the cable and even connected the box straight to the PC's motherboard USB header. Have also tried to burn in Windows 10, 7 and XP, unfortunately with the same results.
- Used AMLogic SD Card Burner, created the bootable SD card and actually the box managed to recognize it (blue light was on), but always after the updating screen I was getting an android logo with a cross next to it and was stuck there, like the image wasn't correct or something.
- Decided not to flash a firmware at all and run LibreELEC (and CoreELEC) straight from an SD card. Downloaded the specific version for s905w, tried a lot of different devices trees (dtb files) but the box didn't even boot.
Before powering the box I was pressing the reset button for the recovery on the AV port. The only thing I haven't tried is short pinning but correct me if I'm wrong I think this is done only when your PC doesn't recognize the box, so I don't know if it will be any useful at all. Also I don't have a UART-USB converter, so I cannot connect to serial for terminal. Is there a way to recover from this? I'm in desperate need of help! Thanks for your time.

As you can already read in the title I have a problem with the Tanix device. I've been trying to swap the original ROM for a custom ROM for the last few days, unfortunately I can't get into recovery mode.
The device always seems to hang as soon as I turn on recovery mode at startup.
Methods I've tried so far:
Recognizing and flashing the device on the PC via USB Burning Tool 2.1.6 - here it does not recognize the device, it gets stuck if i try to restart it via a pin
On the TV itself via the power cable - it also gets stuck here immediately if I want to restart it with a pin
It seems like there is a problem getting into recovery mode at all. Anyone know what else I could try?
Attached you can see the pictures of what can be seen on the TV and on the device itself if it gets stuck.
