Please before making a thread and flooding this forum with help questions do a little of searching many of you guys problem is simple and easy to solve don't start thinking its the end of the world and make a big deal out of it. I know you guys are desperate but please don't keep posting that your device is bricked.
Fixing bricks
Go do some searching in the developer forum really easy how to's and roms there to help you.
Avoiding Bricks
DO not flash any rom other than the one for your device.
Don't go exploring new things and start messing with your device unless you are sure that it is 100% compatible.
One thing i did encounter myself was a bootloop with the YP-G1 because i went into custom recovery while i had steves rom so dont go into that.
G2 Testers Threadfor DEVELOPERS find TESTERS, and TESTERS find COOL stuff
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war. Please do some research if you have any concerns
* about being a tester.
* YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
CyanogenMod statement modified, very useful for this!
Hello folks, I'm elaborating this thread as an index thread where DEVELOPERS can find TESTERS for their ROMs/Kernels/Tools before officially posting in XDA Development Sections. The idea seems to be profitable and worthy because I haven't seem this kind of thread out of the 'apps' sections, and I think it will organize and make our development threads greater without things that don't even work. It will help not just devs, but all the community.
DEVELOPERS ---> Read post #3 for information.
TESTERS ---> Keep reading this post and reply this thread to get in the INDEX.
But how this is going to work?
Well, the best arrangement I could find to make it easier is listing for each variant it's testers in the post #1 as people reply/feedback their respective variants and their willing and possibility to be testers.
In my point of view, to be tester you need to fit some parameters. So, here we go.
You need to know how to deal with possible problems that maybe these stuff can cause, like BOOTLOOPS, SOFTBRICKS...;
Have a good knowledge to feedback errors;
Don't change/sell your cellphone fast;
Constantly use XDA, thirty minutes to one hour a day is enough;
All related to the world of custom (Kernels, ROMS, etc...);
Know XDA politics and rules (end of the post).
If you fit these parameters, which is probably possible you are ready to be a tester. CHECK OUT once more to be sure.
G2 Variants Specifications:
D800 is the AT&T US variant;
D801 is the T-Mobile US variant;
D802 is the Global variant;
D803 is the Rogers Wireless Canadian variant;
D805 is the Latin America variant [D802];
D806 is the Argentina's variant [D802];
LS980 is the Sprint US variant;
VS980 is the Verizon Wireless US variant;
L-01F is the NTT DoCoMo Japanese variant;
F320S/K/L are the Korean variants.
Example of reply (just need to specify your variant):
D802
And then I'm gonna add your XDA profile link in the second post on the correct variant. So devs can ask you using a PM to test whatever they have to test and it's up to you ACCEPT or not.
So, all this stated we can start this party by using the second post to link the testers profiles as you feedback your G2 variant.

More will come, just waiting replies. I thinks this is gonna be very helpful for us devs.
Developers:
If you are a Developer and need a tester for something you're building, you can request them on this thread as well, in two ways:
1st ---> Post a reply to the thread with information about whatever you want to be tested, and then testers can reach you by PM. See post #8 as an example.
2nd ---> Just PM directly the testers you want without replying the thread if you don't want an opened testing.
You can, of course, be both, tester and developer.
I hopefully want this to be simple and helpful for everyone.

Hello there fellow XDA and especially LG G Watch people!
You can view this guide by clicking on the link below
LG G Watch - The Ultimate Guide
In the last couple days I've created a guide covering most sections many people and especially newbies get constantly confused about.
But that's not the only thing I did with it, you can find recent ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries and so on there too!
In a nutshell this guide covers...
... Drivers
... ADB and Fastboot commands
... Tools
... Install APK/Apps
... OTA Updates
... ROMs
... Kernels
... Recovery
... and more!
Feel free to leave any kind of feedback here or on the blog post! You can also contact me via PM and E-Mail if you like. Please keep questions in this thread here tho and avoid asking them via private message, remember, these questions and their solution can be useful for others too! Would be a shame if they'd miss it

Hi guys,
Is there an all in one guide with step by step instruction from opening the box to flashing custom rom and everything in between? I have found some thread with info, but then mentions flashing a boot.img afterwards but it doesn't say anything about links or other info..
I just want to flash my Note 3 Pro SD to the latest mui.eu rom.
Could someone please link to a good noob friendly guide to do the following:
* Unofficial unlock bootloader
* Flash custom recovery
* Flash latest mui.eu rom
* Flash boot.img???
* Have I missed anything?
Thanks
I want this too. A noob guide to flash a rom. I have searched but there are always something lacking.
I didnt know the bootloader was locked.
