Lenovo s90-A Everything was wiped. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi good morning to all, i really really ned a help regarding to my phone.
I have a lenovo s90-A and unfornately when i tried to factory reset on twrp Recovery i accidently select everything to be wiped including the Operating system and i think this is a big problem, Now what i tried to do is to download an SD update Rom Version 4.4.4 which is kitkat but suddenly i've done everything but nothings working(what i did is i tried to create a new folder which is sdfuse and put the .qsb file inside the folder and now i tried to go into recovery mode which is Volume down+Power and when i got there i press sdupdate but im having an error it says that no sdfuse found in dir which is very wrong because i placed the sdfuse folder in sdcard directory and aside from that whenever i go to recovery mode it will automatically restart but there is 15 sec interval which im still able to press the volume buttons and then it will just automatically shutsdown or restart.) so now i dont know what to do i have also tried to go to TWRP recovery but the thing is its still not working.....please i really need your help guys...:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

U need to use Qualcomm flash tool to go back to your stock rom like KitKat or lollipop

[Q] Lenovo A830 Boot Loop No Recovery

I have a problem with one of my Lenovo A830 phones.
I bought it from Etotalk, so it came rooted, and with their custom version of the Lenovo Stock ROM and their custom version of CWM 5.5 installed.
I tried formatting my SD card and then doing a factory data reset from within the operating system. (I was intending to install MIUI V5 after rebooting into recovery).
However, on rebooting, the device is now caught in an infinite boot loop, and I am not able to boot into recovery mode (by holding down power and both volume keys). It loads the initial splash screen, then shows a few seconds of the Android character and some whirring cogs before rebooting.
I am able to boot into Factory mode (power and volume up) or Meta mode (power and volume down). Factory mode has a number of options, but they are all in Chinese characters, which I am unfortunately not able to read.
I did notice that my SD card seemed to be write protected when I tried to format it in my computer and to copy on the new ROM - I solved this by putting it in a different phone and reformatting it. I wonder whether the factory reset process has write protected something it shouldn't have?
Does anyone know how I might best proceed? I've been digging around on the forums, and tried a few things, but there's nothing which seems to provide a coherent solution for this problem.
I've got the latest Android SDK Tools, MTK Droid Tools 2.4.8, SP Flash Tool 3.1312, some additional ADB drivers (120827 v3.7) that I'm not sure how to install, the latest MIUI V5 ROM (3.8.16), and the latest stock Lenovo ROM (S118 from Need A ROM, just in case I need it).
Maybe different SP Flash Tools version?
I had trouble using SP Flash Tools v3.1312 with A830. Once I switched to v3.1304.0.119 I was able to flash both the original ROM and the custom MIUI one without serious issues. I'm unable to post the download link but google it.
One other thing is that when connecting the phone, it usually loads the something something Preloader driver, which is no good (even if it gives you Download OK). When attempting to flash either ROM, try pressing both the power and volume up buttons while connecting the phone (after pressing Download), only way it worked for me.
Good luck!
I managed to sort this out quite simply in the end!
On the Lenovo A830 (and presumably other Lenovo Android phones?), you enter recovery by pressing power and then pressing volume up / down together after a short pause. The short 1 - 2 second pause is important, because if you try and press them at the same time or in quick succession it doesn't seem to work.
I then installed MIUI V5 from the SD card followed by Google Apps after a reboot. In order to get MIUI to install, I had to remove the assert check at the top of the update script, because this seems to erroneously check for the A820 (even though there isn't currently a port for this device?). It's working excellently with two exceptions - I am unable to select the SD card as a storage device, and Google Play store is not searchable (it causes a Force Close).

Hi I had similar "reboot loop" problem this morning after a phone factory reset.
I have no idea how I solved that but the following was the steps I tried:
1. Install the MTK6589_PdaNET_ADB_VCOM_Drivers. Skip the USB connection during setup. Start the PdaNET after setup finished.
2. Insert battery inside the phone and connect the phone with the computer by USB
In my case, the phone reboot loop once, and the lenovo screen appeared in the second restart. The phone hanged. I unplugged the cable, took out the battery, insert the battery again and start the phone normally again and it is working now.
I recommend installing the recovery rom after you have fixed the phone.
Goodluck

Well first use a pc or a different device with an SD card and google "new oppo joy 3 update" then put it in your SD card and put the SD in you oppo and then open your recovery mode and Install it from "update from local" and search the place you put your JOY3 update file and choose it then let it download by its self and WALAH! You phone is back with you
P.S. update it in the "system update app" when its start functioning again and let it update fully
And your problem is cuzed by an half downloaded firmware or a broken firmware cuz I faced the same prob ones as well...
where site i can download the update of oppo?

Bricked Honor 7 After flash superSU phone doesn't start

Hi all,
I unblocked my honor 7 PLK-L01 okay,
but when i tried to flash the superSU, to get rooted, after reboot, it never wants to reboot.
I tried:
1- I tried like the manual saying, (press volumeUp+volumeDown+power), then after the first image, i release the power and keep up+down presses,
But instead of going to recovery, the phone keep restarting.
2- i tried to press volumeUp+power, then keep pressing on volumeUp, but also the phone keep restarting,
How ever I can go to bootloader mode, if i press voluemDown.
but when i flashed another twrp, nothing change.
Can someone help please, the phone even stuck on the starting, and can't be recognized as mtp on compter,
or can't goto recovery_mode
Thank you in advance
i think you are kinda messed it up..
you should not flash any thing except stock firmware using emui recovery..
only solution: try and flash twrp again and again to check if it installed correctly.. or send a pic of what it says in the command window when you try to flash twrp..
or you can even try to put an update.app under a dload folder of your sd card and try to flash(do it if you have emui recovery..remember try any other firmware.. not the one you alredy tried)
you should always read forums and look into various things you are not sure about before you even download superSU.zip.... you should try install twrp do full wipe and install rom THEN reboot and you should be fine. make sure that rom is made for your device...

"soft-bricked" Essential Phone

Originally posted by: Azpre
Hello
A while ago, I tried to root my Essential Phone using magisk. I unlocked the bootloader, flashed twrp, but when I tried to install the magisk zip file, it failed, and I was stuck in a bootloop.
Easy problem to solve right? I wiped everything from my phone (including the ROM), downloaded a stock ROM (.ZIP file, and I think that’s what ****ed everything up) and when I tried to install it, it failed once again. Therefore, I downloaded another stock ROM file (this time as a .img file) and tried to installed it.
But what I ended up doing, was installing some other .img file as the boot image (on twrp), and after that, my phone kept restarting endlessly. I couldn’t access the recovery mode (if I tried to press the vol down + start buttons, or just the start button, the process would repeat, so I leaved my phone there until it run out of battery, now its off).
I was despaired and tried to search every inch of the internet for a solution, and obviously, I could not find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks for your attention.
(Im not sure if this is really a soft brick, I named this thread wit my basic knowlage, sorry if Im wrong)

when I press the power + vol down keys the Essential's logo appears and get stuck in a bootloop
