I just bought LG v10 H960A running lollipop
I want to update it to marshmallow but lg Bridge keep says "cannot check software version"
Windows 10 Build 14379
Lg Bridge ver. 1.2.18
Can any one help?

Did you ever figure this out? Same thing here..... Tried Mac and PC. Won't update on the phone either.

I just downloaded KDZ file for my country and used lgup to upgrade.

Connect the G5, start downloading the firmware, when the download starts disconnect the G5 and wait the download is finished, then your can find the kdz here:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\LG Electronics\LG Bridge\SWUpgrade\Image

You can simply update your V10 via LG Bridge software. Just download and install LG Bridge into your pc and connect the phone via USB cable. It'll detect your V10 and then you can easily update your phone from there. Also it is advised to create a full backup before performing system update! :good:
My phone firmware is H82011k. LG Bridge Update gave me H820PR20a( the same from lg-firmware.com ). When phone enter in download mode LG Bridge stops downloading and tells to remove battery and connect again, but nothing happens.
Tried to upgrade using LGUP . When phone enter in download mode aplication gave error "Anti-rollback version is smaller ..."
With Upercut the same problem
So how to get grabbed from LG Bridge upgrade into phone.

H820PR20a - this update for H820PR (PuertoRico) . You Can't update H820 with H820PR firmware!
H820 have different boot then H820PR

I'am agree with you but why LG Bridge gave me this firmware?

I agree to brick my phone. How to insert this firmware into it?
I also forget to mention when i first time connect phone to LG Bridge program gave me latest firmware from at&t ( same installation problem ). Next day when i found how to grab .kdz file, LG Bridge decide to update my phone with PR version. Dont now how to cheat LG Bridge to give me at&t version.
So pls H820 owners install LG Bridge, press Software Update, afther download complete
make sure that u can see hidden files from windows
go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\LG Electronics\LG Bridge\SWUpgrade\Image
and save Image.kdz elsewhere in your computer. then share it to us.

How? At&t doesn't share their kdz and tot files. How can you grab it from lg bridge?
It'll probably only grab the PR's kdz instead.

Don't be so sure. First day i recieve about 1500Mb Firmware, next day 2100Mb.

Cool down! No way to update without AT&T sim and USA network!
LG G5 H820 AT&T DOESN'T SUPPORT LG BRIDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Only FOTA updates!

I have the LG G5 H831 (Canadian model) and it's still on Marshmallow, even when I click check for update it says my OS is up to date.
Knowing that I'm not in Canada and I'm not using a Canadian cell provider, how can I update my G5 to Nougat? because I think there were already Nougat for this phone.

I managed to get it updated to Nougat by using the LG Bridge on my laptop.
From LG Bridge I went to Software Update and it did find the new OS, downloaded it and installed it.

I'm in the UK....but someone told me my phone was H870...it's just been delivered and turns out to be a LG-H873
Can this be rooted?

I'm getting about 5 hours screen on time on 8.0 using auto brightness indoors and opera mini with ad block and data savings on.
I did turn off sync, wifi, bt, location - only 4G LTE T-Mobile usa.
Disabled many built in apps I don't use - most of Google products, etc.
Always on display is on.
