Can't shoot video from rear camera. Why? - LG G5 Questions & Answers

This may be something easily solved, that I'm missing, but I don't have the option to take video with my rear camera. Anyone know why?

Start by deleting the camera app's data & cache from the phone's setting -> apps -> camera -> storage.

Thanks for the reply. Upon clearing the cache and data, I realized the "record" button only disappears when the camera is in "manual" mode, but reappears in "auto" mode. Is there any way to fix this? Or do I have to switch back to auto whenever I want to film? Thanks, in advance.

Do a wipe cache in recovery ...
Or go to app management in settings and clear data of contacts storage and contacts provider and contacts (if there) and rebooy

Well, that's weird. Do normal screen rotation works? on any standard apps (landscape/portrait). If yes, try going into the app list and clear the Data for the camera app and check. If not, brace for a factory reset.
If still persists, Sony service center.
Good luck. :good:
yes normal rotation works.
ich got the solution
Turn off/on the phone

Volume issue...

On every reboot (Xperia Z2 6.0.1), media volume move to middle (I set him always to max)?!
I have no any Smart Connect events enabled.
Any idea what cause this issue, or how to figure out?

But then do you have any kind of headphone or external playback devices linked to your phone?
If no, and if you have a custom recovery like TWRP, you may proceed to wipe cache and ART cache and reboot. See if it got back to normal.

I wipe both, and same issue appear. No external devices connected.

No Raw Imaging after Nougat Update

Hello, I recently flashed Nougat update. Unfortunately, no option for RAW format is available, as it used to be available on Android Marshmallow.
I went to the Camera app (after the update), swiped from left to right, select 'Pro' mode. After that, I went to the settings, but there wasn't any option present for RAW Format as it used to.
I used this app called "Manual Camera Compatibility", and it shows no support for RAW Format too.
App:

Camera settings during Marshmallow;
Actually, there is the option you seek for in N.
Launch Camera - Picture Size (Rear) and you'll see the "Save Raw and JPEG files" toggle.
Enjoy
Found it!
Looks like I didn't explore enough...
Thanks a lot.

How to turn off some options in battery optimization

Hi guys. I have a problem, I cant figure out. In settings - battery ., there is ability to go inside to fix some issues. I have chose some options there, but now I can "uncheck" them - or disable them. Here are pictures:
Here are the battery settings:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now I go inside, and below are optimizations that I have chosen:
I want to take back the "clear memory 10 minutes after locked device" and "Lower screen refresh rate to 60 Hz" , but I just cant find how to do it. Thank you for any help.
You can change refresh rate anytime in settings>display>refresh rate 60 & 90 hz
And 2nd to disable clear cache after 10 min
Goto gear showing in battery optimization screen shot ....and select any option you want
Yes, this is it. after clearing it disappeared in the optimized list. Thank you
