Hi guys. I have a problem, I cant figure out. In settings - battery ., there is ability to go inside to fix some issues. I have chose some options there, but now I can "uncheck" them - or disable them. Here are pictures:
Here are the battery settings:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now I go inside, and below are optimizations that I have chosen:
I want to take back the "clear memory 10 minutes after locked device" and "Lower screen refresh rate to 60 Hz" , but I just cant find how to do it. Thank you for any help.

You can change refresh rate anytime in settings>display>refresh rate 60 & 90 hz
And 2nd to disable clear cache after 10 min
Goto gear showing in battery optimization screen shot ....and select any option you want

Yes, this is it. after clearing it disappeared in the optimized list. Thank you

[Q] How much display (screen-on) time are you getting?

Hi guys i would like to ask what is your best/average display time on a full single charge? Please vote on the poll above. It would also be good if you can state your display brightness / using auto brightness and post a screen shot of your display time, graph and percentage. For those who have no idea how to get there simple follow these steps: Settings > About Phone > Battery Usage > Display
Here's my best:
Set 1

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Set 2
However my average is around 3 to 4.5 hours and my brightness is just slightly above the min brightness (i dont use auto brightness). I'm on stock ROM by the way for those wondering.
Sorry mods please close this thread as i accidentally submit twice.

How to minimize display screen timeout time to 1 second

Presently Settings => display => screen timeout now allows minimum 10 seconds timeout. What a ridiculous usability: I use gesture/motion to wake up the clock and while screen is on the jacket's sleeve swipes the menus. Why the f..k we need 10 seconds to stare at the watch? Can we have a custom choice to set the timeout, are all users such idiots that the menus have to be made so stupid to satisfy "pleasant stupid f..g user experience"? I am mad, Samsung is worse than Apple.
Anyone knows how can I set the display time out to 0.5 or 1 second only? How to change this, is there an app? Or maybe I could use developer's mode to modify the kernel or main code? Where should I start?
Not in Gear setting but the face "WatchPlus" is made to timeout the screen in 1 or 2s and gain battery life

Ambient Display setting has no effect

Hi,
as per thread's title, I can't see any difference when switching this setting on. Is it just me?
Thanks for any info.

I does work for me.
If the Display is turned off and you receive a message or whatsapp or email and so on, the display activates and is showing the lockscreen.
If this option is turned off and a msg comes in there is no reaction at all, so the display remains dark. (Other than the sound / vibrate / light etc.)
Well, in this case I can confirm it doesn't work for me.
(Mmmh... now it's more than one thing that's not working...)
Any suggestion? The feature looks quite nice.
OK, it works when setting one lock method at least, I.e. swipe to unlock. I had nothing set before.
Not sure it makes sense, but at least it works.

Greenify keeps asking for "retrieve windows content"

Greenify (4.7.5) was working fine on my Galaxy A71 running Android 11 till yesterday, but today it started asking for "retrieve window content capability" when I try to hibernate an app. I've already enabled that on Accessibility options, but the app keeps asking it to be on for Automatic Hibernation for work.
Already cleared cache and data, but zilch, it just won't detect that that option is already turned on. I took a screenshot of the option in my phone, it was taken before I clicked on Allow, because the message only shows when the toggle is off.

edit: nevermind, it just started working again by its own, go figure
You Granted Greenify Accessibility as seen in my screen shot?
And why start a new Thread? You'd get more help in Greenify's main Thread.

Question Quick settings changed....is it something I did or did Google update something?

The quick settings bar changed last night on my phone. The first 4 options that show up are now half size and in a line., and return to full size when you pull down the notification bar a second time. Is this a setting I inadvertantly changed or did Google do something?

Just as odd, I just rebooted the phone and the quick settings area went back to it's original format, 2 rows of 2 full sized buttons. WTF?
Just to let you know that I had the same thing on my phone but it's gone now...
The same here...
Odd, after a week of normal quick setting bars, it changed to half width again just like in the top picture. I'd sure like to know what is triggering it.
