Nexus 5x and 6P should receive Android N (final) on 22 August.

Maybe even Nexus 9?
Someone have information about it

I'm sure that if it does go live in Monday, factory images will be posted for all eligible Nexus devices at the same time.
It will have to be good to beat the current custom roms. Went back to latest stock marshmallow but soon went back to custom rom. I'll still try it though

Stock marshmallow truly unusable.... Hope Google will fix this table after 2 years!

Not seen any updates yet.
It's HERE https://www.android.com/versions/nougat-7-0/
Im looking for OTA, Factory image still not avaliable
Received the update yesterday -- it came as a surprise since I tend to receive updates later than sooner except the N previews.

Still waiting here. The images are not avoidable yet either.
How is it compared to stock 6.01?
Gone back to stock to get the update and 6.01 is pants compared to the likes of RR or AICP
Looks like the Factory image is available now:
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#volantis
Direct link to factory image:
https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/volantis-nrd90m-factory-b718f71b.tgz
And it work very well on my N9

It's newer, a little more refined, but still Android. The bulk of the changes will probably appear on the new 2016 devices built with Android 7 in mind.
I read that if you sign up for the developer preview, you receive the 7 full release. I enrolled for DP1, received all previews thru 5, then the 7 release yesterday. I enrolled my N6 (my daily driver) after I saw that DP5 was stable but have not yet received it on that device. I guess anyone who completed the full preview cycle got the update first.
Loaded the new N image form google and every thing is working fine. Like the split screen and it seems to take less memory. So far so good.
I have downloaded and installed Android N OTA. All went fine, and the system is much better and reactive than 5 and 6 versions. I am quite satisfied up to now.
Sideloaded the OTA. Looks good, but seems the OTA doesn't have the Nexus launcher... Is this included in the factory image? And if so... Does some has the apk for the Nexus 9? I have installed one but I get a small black bar in the app grid...

The Nexus launcher has not been publicly released yet by Google and is not included with any of the N factory images. There is a leaked APK for it floating around, but it's buggy. I'd wait for the playstore release.

Looks like the developer preview has arrived for Nexus devices. I was wondering that since Hammerhead and Onyx are very similar if it could be ported or if it's a possibility. Here's the benefits of being able to do this:
1. Android N support on release from Google. We would have a fully working ROM the same day Nexus devices see it
2. We can start working on patches quickening the development process.
3. Access to new features that could potentially be back ported to M for stable ROMs
4. A fully developed device tree on launch
5. It's Android N? Who wouldn't want to run it in spite of it being incredibly buggy?
Just a thought.
There is no Android N for Nexus 5, only 5x etc man.

Not yet. But see Google Git: https://android.googlesource.com/device/lge/hammerhead/
As you can see, Nexus 5 (hammerhead) will have Android N developer Preview, and I think it will be soon.

It seems they're trying to get it to work on 5 but is not for now, you can see nexus 7 too.
For sure it'll arrive unofficially.
I have tried with a good friend to port the preview on Opx. Actually we have a kernel problem. When the phone boot it goes pratically into 2 secs into recovery. We have to wait more time until we get kernel N full sources and study better the situation

that means , A2017U (USA) and A2017 (Chinese) will get Nougat either this month or the next (December).
I can't say that I'm not a little bit disappointed by hearing January 2017. Being advertised as the first Daydream 'ready' phone, I had my hopes up for an upgrade closer to the Daydream-platform launch today..

If you didn't know Daydream requires Nougat and the phone initially ships with Marshmallow, I can see how that could be interpreted. I just knew it meant it will get Nougat eventually. The chipset is what is important. Older Qualcomm devices cannot support Daydream because they cannot meet recommended performance requirements.
Daydream actually required 7.1 version IMO.
And since 7.1 released couple of weeks ego that's mean
It needs at least 2 months preparation until OEM implement a newer version of Android.
So If US or Chinese version receive it within November/December it will be version 7 and that's not good sign/news at all.
So everyone hope ZTE bring 7.1 version(and NOT 7 i repeat) and doesn't matter who will get it first IMO.
It will be HUGE MISTAKE if ZTE not bring 7.1.

Indeed, let's hope they are skipping 7 and are putting all effort in a good working 7.1.
On official german Facebook page they say Daydream will be supported with Nougat update in January.

As long as ZTE involved to improve it via software.
But until now all Chinese haven't shown any skills for better software processing as for the camera performance.
Even Huawei lacking against top of the top Korean manufacturers despite being involved Leica.

There is a possibility we will see another camera improvement if zte implement camera2api in the nougat update, however i doubt this because the camera2api has been available since lollipop which has been around for years. On the bright side however they said they might add raw support which you need the camera2api for (unless they want to do a lot of coding themselves). So there is a possibility the camera might get better .

Isn't the aussie version the A2017G??
That's the latest B04 update. I tried it but had the data on/off bug. Will wait for German version.

What is this data on/off Bug?
Thanks
Data turns on then off every second or so. I had it originally when I upgraded to Nougat because I had OEM unlocking turned on in developer options. This time it just did it, even trying various SIM cards. I will have another go this weekend, when I have more time.

Yes.
Is the modern file the same as the European release? Could somebody upload it so we can compare the hex?
Yesterday I received this update which is of 2.91 GB. On the first glance I thought it was a Pie Update, but while reading the details it only contained some security fixes and February patches. Did anyone else received this update and know what it contains? I mean just for some security fixes, how can the update be of 2.91 GB?
Yes I got this update
I was also surprised to see a security patch update of 2.91 GB but after updating my battery backup improved. It was already good before but after updating standby battery is really good.
Just hoping it should not affect after pie update ?
Nice to know that there are some improvements apart from just security fixes only in this update. Even then, this doesn't explain this huge size.

Update 8.2.0.155
I think this update for roll back from emui 8.2 to emui 8.1 for honor 8x bcz pie update will rum on emui 8.1 not on emui 8.2......now i think pie will come on our devices in 5-10 days...
Weird. I thought the pie update would just replace the current rom. It wouldn't matter whether EMUI version is 8.1 or 8.2.
Anyways, eagerly waiting for the pie update. Let's hope we get it soon.

So far, pie beta is amazing. Battery life is great and phone feels more responsive. Can't wait for the complete thing.
Also, gaming performance is great, and camera colours have been toned down a bit, which produces more natural images, and if you like using ai camera, colours are also less intense. All in all, solid update. You should not have worries about pie.
Is pie beta released?

Completed the upgrade. So far ok. Hate that dark mode automation only works without a theme. I wish I could change the theme and retain dark mode.
Also some animations are less that smooth. For example try swiping up from home within an app and see how jittery the app icon is while being put away.
Loving the squircle icons too.
Lift to wake, duh.

I'm on an unlocked note 10+ in the USA running the most recent beta software from early December. Still no option to update to the official release. When do the beta testers get the update?
Im on an unlocked US phone and just got the software notification for android 10. I had the most recent non beta version of OneUI 1.5 or whatever it was.

I have the u1 variant and I'm running 1st update after updating to android 10, so I'm on January security patch. Everything runs great. Battery is the same as in last pie version so cant complain about nothing till now.
