Thanks

Flash any customised region ftf you like as long as it's your device's model no. Only real difference is a few pre installed apps vary from region to region and some say 4g instead of lte when on a data connection. Also do include anything with simlock.ta in the ftf you are flashing as only Sony service centre can reserect it.

I have a C6833 and im trying to debrand it, as its currently on O2UK firmware but 14.1.B.1.510. Is there a stock WWE firmware out for this phone or a way to change the build.prop to allow Sony PC Companion to debrand it with a stock firmware.

use flashtool and flash the new one (14.1.B.1.526). Some members are saying they wish they had never modified their region in the build.prop

There is 532 that Sony will release in a few days... The new build number 14.1.B.1.532 (C6802, C6833 and C6806)
Ok, great. So in a few days we will have the newest 14.1.B.1.532 ftf file.

Yeah but its just a small update... nothing major. But will help with your situation
Will a full ftf file be released or just the small update, I presume it will be the full file so it can flash a phone to stock.

So how do i put all these files toger and make a ftf, i presume flashtool, however how and what should i use to create the bundle.

Can I safely flash ST27i firmware to Xperia Advance (ST27a)?
Won't it screw up the bands?

uh?
I'm asking if it's safe.
ST27i is different than ST27a. UMTS bands are not the same and I don't want to brick my phone or damage anything.

I have a ST27a, it's still on ICS and SUS says it's the latest fw available and I know for a fact it's not.
Downloaded a.1.100 fw file for ST27a and tried several times to flash it with flashtool but it was unsuccesful, it keeps throwing an error near the end of the flashing process. I was thinking on flashing ST27i fw to see if I can flash succesfully (to rule out phone damage or bad .ftf (for the ST27a version) even though I already downloaded the file three times).

Maybe there's no update for your region or carrier?
Would be better if someone make the file for you.
You can flash except basedband. Tick exclude baseband and flash the firmware directly.

If your bootloader is unlockable you can flash any FTF for your device (just to be clear any FTF for Z2 will work on your Z2)
If your bootloader isnt unlockable then only ones for your brand ver will work aka verizon Z2 FTFs only work for Verizon, not even generic (it bricks the device)
Sent from my D6503 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Regardless of whether your bootloader is unlocked or not, you should only be flashing FTFs that are for your device model. So if you have a D6503, then you should only flash an FTF meant for D6503, and not one that is for D6502.
thank you
Is it possible to use D6503 ftf on d6502 devices?
