I am trying out widgetlocker on miui8, but I am unable to add widgets.
Is anyone else been able to get it work? If so, please let me know which rom and which version of widgetlocker you are using..

May be the same reason my third party lockscreen, doesn't come up 100% of the time, Miui seems to like it's defaults to much.
i tried too. What i really want is to get dashclock to work with miui.... havent found a way yet...
Make sure widgetlocker, is ticked within privacy/notification access settings. Kinda fixed lockscreen Issue may be the same for widgets
Yeah worked it out, notification and app access needs to be configured via Miui settings.

I bought WidgetLocker, I enabled it, but when I lock/unlock, it first displays my normal lockscreen, and then 1 second later it displays WidgetLocker.
Did I do something wrong, or do I need to remove my default lockscreen?
This problem only happens in sense roms, you can try an app called no lock. On aosp roms widget locker works perfectly.
Oh and to change theme all you have to do is play around with your framework-res...

Any way to get more sliders?
Pull the apk from your phone, and mod the sliders yourself, uninstall and reinstall widgetlocker.
Heaps of mods here if you're lazy.

Try Lockbot Pro...it has so many in-built sliders to try from...one looking like iPhone, Froyo or Eclair style..it almost does the same functionality as does WidgetLocker , save some customisation

I had that same exact problem running Go Locker. If I rebooted, it would fix it for a while, but the problem always came back. I switched to Widget Locker and my stock lock screen doesn't appear anymore. Personally, I just thought it was an issue with Go Locker since it stopped once I switched to Widget Locker, but someone more knowledgeable than I can address if it's fixable. I never found a way, even after changing and manipulating every possible setting.

Sorry for bumping this, but I'm having the exact same problem (other phone though SG Gio). Anyone knows if this is fixable withing Go Locker ? I'll also try Widget Locker...

I don't know much about GO pocket but I do know widget locker can and we'll disable the stock lockscreen.
While on the widget locker lockscreen goto:
Settings/advanced/disable stock lockscreen

Doable with custom lockscreens. Not sure about HTC's though. Maybe a custom background image. But that's all I can think of.
I dont think its possible i know its only possible in Blackberry but thats about it .. maybe MIUI too i forget .. try golocker and see if it has anything

Just curious if anyone can advise on what seems to be the BEST settings to use on Widget Locker on the SGSIII so that you dont run into issues with the stock lockscreen showing up first and then Widget Locker kicking in and other issues like those that I have had with Widget Locker over the past years on my devices?
If anyone can be of assistance I would greatly appreciate it.

First of all you can turn off stock lockscreen in Settings/ Lock Screen/ Screen Lock set it to none... You didn't mentioned are you on ICS or JB? For me Widget Locker worked perfectly on ICS but on JB there are some problems (like immediately unlocking without me scrolling unlock) and I am not the only one that have issues.

I had this problem but managed to fix it. However, your phone must be rooted. In the widget locker settings go to advance and HomeHelper. Tick everything ON, select your HomeHelper's Launcher and tap "Select System Home". Chose WL HomeHelper and tap Always. Go back to Advance settings and tap Root Helper. Tick on first three options. Your Widget Locker should work fine now.
PS. I found this solution somewhere on this forum but don't have a link.

I'm using the AOSB 1.2.8 Kitkat 4.4.2 on my i9100G and firstly, I gotta say it's really nice!
I'm having some customizations issues tho...
for one, I didn't find how to increase the number of home screens. Is it capped at 3 with the launcher3 homescreen? can I have more if I use the google one? just need to switch and restart the phone then?
Secondly, I love that feature to access ur notifications and apps quickly from the lockscreen but sadly you can't combine this with any kind of security. I've tried pattern, PIN and so on, but then the lock screen features are gone. It's basically one or the other. any fix/trick on that?
and finally, a noob question but is there a way to get a notification upon the birthday of someone in your contact list?

For your first question.. To add another screen you can try to drop an app to a non existent desktop and the launcher automatically creates another screen.
Or try Nova launcher, it's beautiful.
