How do you use the toolchains? Do you also use the aarch64?
For my builds I tried using these: http://uber.oceighty.co/TOOLCHAIN/
Downladed and unpacked them in the 'prebuilts' folder...roms compile perfectly fine but most them end up non-bootable or booting fine but non-functional in some way. As for the aarch64, I concluded it just doesnt compile.
Will you please share your way of using the toolchains?

ok, thanks, I will try that. Keeping the archived versions and just unpacking them before the build process seemed pretty convenient to me.

[KERNEL][WIP}i920X Touchwiz JB(4.2.2)(Production Phase)

This kernel will be kept simple and inline with stock and free from buzzfree stuff..as the aim is a stable day-to-day use kernel..this kernel is NOT for those who want to break records..as i do not believe and rely on benchmarks..(its me..)
Disclaimer:
i nor xda would be at fault if something weird beyond my test results happen to your phone..also this is not a benchmark kernel..if you like crunching numbers and breaking records go use another kernel..this is meant to save juice and be efficient and stable as a daily driver for Samsung based ROMS..
Features:
- Based on i9205/i9195 source from Samsung OSRC(Thanks for the borked source)
- Fixed a few things left by Samsung to be broken
- Simple and no fancy stuff thats gonna bork your phones..more stuff does not guarantee it's better..
- User voltage control from faux123 for Krait CPU's..
- EXFat support(by Samsung OSRC..)
- OC(if already stable)
- will populate more as things get stable
- Selinux permission is set from enforcing to permissive via ramdisk
- insecure boot image
- Disabled Rooting security measures implemented by Samsung..
Pre-requisites
- Install busybox via CWM or via Playstore before installing my kernel..this is to make sure init.d and also some scripts work properly..
Downloads here: Test build 5(ML1 Ramdisk)
My git: source
Credits:
- noone in particular but thanks to ALL the wonderful devs here in XDA..
If you like the builds please help me get a Soda/pay bills..or the least is just hit the Thanks Button..
one more in case..
uploading..
please report/feedback on any issue you might encounter..please do provide logs(last_kmsg, logcats, dmesg...etc..) so that i can shoot things out..i do not own the device yet and surely things can go wacky along the way..
TIA
kindly someone report if the build boots up..
What do you mean with those features?
- Fixed a few things left by Samsung to be broken
- Removed most of the crappy and buggy stuff..
- GPU Idling fix..

I was curious how you described these features. If it's only an e book reader issue, you cannot call it remove crappy stuff by samsung.

thanks will invetigate the logs provided..can you upload a stock image of the i9200 btw??so i can check if there are specific differences from the ramdisk of the i9200 from i9205..afaik aside from the LTE there should be other differences from them..
re: root it might have been because of the ramdisk i used..can you shift to Koush's superuser??chainfire's supersu has been finicky with my HTC 4.3 update but Koush's never had a glitch..
Thank you very much for the feedback!!
edit: get the SuperUser by Koush here
Stock MJ1 I9200 boot image attached. I'll let you know if I succeed to root.

[ROM][CM11][i9100] OpenPDroid-patched CyanogenMod 11 builds for Galaxy S II GT-I9100

Main thread: OpenPDroid patches for CyanogenMod 11
WARNING: OpenPDroid is not compatible with ART for now. disable ART before flashing. enabling ART will cause the device to fail to boot. if you enabled ART and are unable to boot, flash official CyanogenMod temporarily to be able to fix (will cause privacy leaks). or if you have ADB access in android or recovery, you can disable ART by using setprop or editing a file.
these are i9100 builds of CyanogenMod 11 patched with OpenPDroid. find them here.
update: releases will now be distributed as overlays to the official CyanogenMod snapshots. first flash the official "M" snapshot corresponding to the OpenPDroid overlay you want to flash, then flash the overlay.
update: i have published an OpenPDroid overlay for the i9100 build of CM 10.1.3 here (made with old Auto-Patcher).
update: device-specific builds are being phased out in favor of the generic overlays. please refer to this post.
note: OpenPDroid does not affect the recovery nor the kernel, you can use whatever you want.
CM11-M6 broke OpenPDroid patches, so i forked OpenPDroid to restore compatibility, fix several bugs and clean up the code. sources are here.

ok thank you. i dont have an i9100 so i can't test. that's why this rom is not in ALPHA but TESTING stage. i pulled the blobs from a non-local friend's phone over VPN and built. but i am running the hammerhead version and it works just fine (and so does openpdroid). i don't know why it may not be working. maybe that CM's nightly is bad. maybe there's something bad with my building (i strongly suppose nothing's wrong with openpdroid). maybe you didn't wipe or the download was busted. (there is *no* need to wipe coming from CM11.) if someone else confirms i will sync and rebuild and maybe build without patching to see if the output works. thank you!

crap!!! can you please describe in more detail?
i don't have an i9100, so i havent tested this build.
EDIT: i had a friend with an i9100 remotely connect to to my VPN, then had him enable root adb over net, then i picked the blobs from his phone with the standard script. there were no errors reported. maybe something went wrong???
2ND EDIT:
i think i know what can have gone wrong. he's running CM but infected's CM10.2 modded build. maybe i need to pick the blobs from someone running standard CM11.
does anybody running "stock" CM11 want to help? i'd need brief remote adb access. i think root is required to pick the blobs, but not sure.

[ROM] [CM11] SickiCM11 Nightlies [AK-Kernel|Sabermod|JustArchi]

This is my daily driver!
CM11 nightly with only a few modifications and AK-Kernel built in.
I build 2-5 builds per week, depending on CM11 nightly and AK source changes.
Rom includes
CM11 Nightly sources synced on build date
AK-kernel inside, "nightly" sources synced on build date
JustArchiĀ“s v3 optimizations
Rom toolchain SM 4.8
Kernel toolchain SM 4.9
Pngcrushed
Removed some unneeded apps etc. (Flash SuperSu)
Removed all audiofiles, (use your own for ringtones etc)
Added toolchain infos to "About Phone -settings"
Added some logo to "About Phone -settings"
Moved CM settings to own submenu "Build Tweaks" (thanks to @rascarlo)
Hopefully fixed ART
Changed density to 360
and probably forgot to mention something...
Instructions:
Flash Rom, SuperSU and UKM
Boot
Reboot to recovery
Flash GApps
Boot and install Synapse from Playstore
Top thanks:
@rascarlo
@ak
@RobbieL811
@JustArchi
@snak3ater
@apb_axel
Rastakat people
hammerhead Simpleaosp people
"Let The Lion Roar Free Forever!"
Flash at your own risk of course, running this daily for weeks now, builded maybe 3 times per week,
everything worked if nothing is broken from CM nightly side.
I dont take requests of features if theres no direct link to a git commit and if its not something i need myself,
as i only do this for myself, but wanted to share it with others. And also most features are beyond my skills
Most things thats in this rom is made by others which i take no credit for. If ive used something you made and didnt credit you, please let me know and we fix that.
This is my first time to create a thread for a rom and so please be gentle
.Let me know what you think, and if ive violated something, slap me in the a** and call me something bad!
My sources: https://github.com/sicknemesis (probably reaaaally messy!!!)
Download:
Dev-Host
Mirror ( thanks @TiVON )
Usually i wont inform about new builds here, unless theres something ive changed myself.
So if no info is shown, then its only CM-nightly and AK-kernel changes synced
CM11-Nightly Changelogs Bacon
Kernel Changelogs @ Ak-kernel thread and Ak-kernel source, got no need or skills to touch those
Kernel etc
AK thread
Kernel source
SuperSU
UKM and Synapse

Have you never seen CM11 or any aosp ROM? Why do you need screenshots? They're pretty much identical. As for battery life, it's a very subjective thing, the only way to find out how it's going to perform is to flash it yourself.

Yeah, battery life is so hard to analyze, i run it 24-36h with 2-5h SOT . Best way is to try the kernel settings by yourself or check AK kernel thread and search infos about profiles and such. Also here is people checking each others settings out.
Rom itself looks mostly a normal CM11, and the few customizations are really "under the hood"

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][5.0.1] CM12 daily builds

Just another source of daily CM12 builds
(These builds are run automatically every 24h, so they aren't tested and *might* be broken. So far, CM has been pretty good with keeping their ROM booting though. Also, if the build fails, nothing will be uploaded (obviously), if that happens, shoot me a PM or something)
http://downloads.codefi.re/herna/chaosagent
I *might* start adding my own features or cherry-picking things later if I have time and there is demand.

Every 24h, what time source is refreshed from git? I want to look into commits to get to know about changes.
Perhaps you could also auto generate some changelog file (obviously, got from git commit logs). Should be quite easy to develop some script for generating changelogs

[q] [help] [confused] building from source

After doing some research I'm fall down at great confusion. If anyone can help me, I'll be very thankful. My Internet connection is very poor & not secure. If I will download any compressed source and Internet connection is not available at the time of Process. 'Is it possible to build a rom from that downloaded source without Internet.?'
If you don't mind then give some forums link please .

All you just need is just to get the compressed source of any ROM you want and then decompress it and you can build it without any problems .-I've build cm12.1 , cm13 , slimkat and slimLP from compressed source -.
By the way , you may need internet connection to get some packages are needed to build android from source like java , gcc ...etc ...
You can download any ROM you want from here ===>https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=87142
yeah I appreciate your Great Work.

No. We don't need repo to build a rom. As far as i know, it is used to bring fixes and updates for the source.

-If you don't have repo you won't be able to fetch new updates from ROM repository ,but you can solve this problem by installing the repo too and extract it to ROM source .
-If you don't have repo that doesn't mean that you can push to github , actually github has nothing to do with repo !
-Having internet while building isn't necessary but you will need it if you come into troubles like wrong java version or missed packages !
thanks a lot
