AFAIK, currently we don't have active maintainers for CM, that's why we never had Snapshot Release for CM12.1 and CM13
So the chance to get CM14 (android N) is quite small
Does is matter, really Bugs in lollipop like mobile radio active bugs hasn't been fixed even on marshmallow and marshmallow has added some new bugs like wifi switching on at night,signal loss etc god knows what new bugs will come with android N.It seems google is adding new bugs to android with each iteration rather than features.
I started using CM 11 and its lot better than marshmallow or lollipop and i lose 0% battery over night on CM 11(Does it without Doze)with out any battery saving tools and i am generally getting 6-7 hrs SOT with stock CM 11 kernel.
Yeah i am pretty satisfied with CM 11 only problem with CM 11 is that it can't decode HEVC properly.

I dont know whats wrong with the trees you pointed out.. but they dont compile successfully with aosp 7 sources
With my trees device boots but getting no display
I'll probably upload my trees to github this weekend(if I have no college work to do ) so that experts can help

I mean I synced from Google official repo .. and yeah .. it took 4days 8 hrs to download full repo :laugh:
And in my area internet connection is interrupted too .. so patience is the only option :good:
PS- Use commnised trees only .. and yeah ... Don't forget to make device kernel permissive .. if you get any conpile error .. PM me :good:

We cant measure it in chance. It depends on how much dev support we get.

100% chance. I guarantee you. Im not kidding or making fun. Devs like atis112 and others dont take much time fixing stuff. Plus the reason i'm so confident is, we have kernel 3.4 (sources will also come eventually), we have OEM STOCK JB, so we dont have to backport any thing.
lets try to fix storage and wifi first, then rest.

EDIT: Guys let me ask you something i dont get - why someone is asking if CM 10.1 is working with TWRP recovery? I thought you must flash provided recovery and flash rom?
(on sony phones you download rom, extract recovery, put rom on sdcard, fastboot recovery and via installed recovery/cwm you install the rom. But you def use the provided recovery)

To be perfectly honest with you, no one disrespects you as well as your development in making ROMs. They are angry/agitated as you aren't working on the ROM they had high hopes for. Also to make matters worse you are not allowing others to continue the port. So they are behaving like these.
Anyways it's your wish whether you'll continue the MM TW ROM project or to give others permission to do it as it's your hard work which made the ROM to boot at first place.

Bro there are many other developers who have booted Android N on older devices. Checkout HTC HD2. It's 7 years old I think. Waste time? Lol. He will learn more while building for older devices. Maybe the guy in the OP can't do it, but some other people might as well can. He says people don't appreciate him, just look at his thanks count. Infact he is being thanked for the ROM(MM) which he is refusing to share. Knowledge is worth when it's shared. If Google hadn't made Android open source, none of us would have been getting anything. People all over the world have shared their knowledge and which is why we are here. And even if someone does succeed in building the ROM, people are only gonna praise Aditya cause they know he's the one who made it possible. Infact if I'm able to do it, I'll ask Aditya only to make the thread. I don't need thanks or appreciation. I just want people to have what they deserve. Just think about what I said.

He was working on TW MM rom from nearby 2 months and he got it booted also !
And if he dont want release it soo wht matters !
Port the roms and boot it by urself !

i have tested the omni rom for 2 days i very stable
... its bugy but for the basic funtions its ok
now if you want i remove the omni and your rom from the list ???
No leave my Rom in the list I'm just telling that LOS 12.1 is 5.1.1 not 5.1 and it's up to you if you want to leave Omni in there if you say it's stable then ok I haven't tested.

Hmmm I think Oreo would be cooler. And I'm not saying now that its going to work but I'm actually working on Oreo thanks to ChronoMonochrome patches and help.
Its still a long way to a bootable ROM but well the patches will save me few weeks.

i see the post of ChronoMonochrome i think the oreo rom i still on alfa and the most hard part will be fixing the bug and make partaly stable... ad if the the rom boot you do you have any plan for build the nugart version ??

No im not planing on building nougat. I have a lot of job to do on oreo and well if that one boots then why would you want nougat instead of oreo it would still have a lot of bugs and most of the stuff will not work.

No I still have problems with boot.img (custombootimg.mk) and selinux.
Boot.IMG is not working and selinux is giving permission denied when system is booting so once boot.img will work I will disable selinux in kernel and will see then.
It will need some time.

It should be don't know.
Also why you need anapp to install Linux ?
Just make a live USB then boot it test it and install it.

I really hope Treble is implemented on our device too. RN4 has it. I don't see why RN3 can't.

Simple, it's not worth the effort.
Old device, old and ****ty sources, old native blobs and full of garbage, and of course: CAF will drop 8952_64 branch soon = have to use hacked HALs = more garbage and unfixable bugs.

Link to new life is inside the core of "hydrogen". Mi max is last hope for kenzo. Hope hydrogen will keep on burning and Hope it gets miui oreo soon. Then treble is no more trouble.
