CM13 Notification Slider - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all, I've got the latest CM13 nightly on my OPX as well as the Xposed Framework. I've been trying to figure out how to get my notification slider to work as follows:
Alarms Only
Vibrate Only
All Sounds
However, I'm only able to get Alarms Only, Priority Only, and All Sounds. I've tried VibrateMode but it didn't seem to make a difference unless there's some other settings I'd have to change to get that figured out.
Surely someone else has done this before. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Same here! Waiting for a solution too

It's called VibrateMode, using it myself.

Also, do u guys know a way to remove the priority notifications from the status bar on the OPX? It's utmost annoying

There's a Xposed module for this which only works on Oxygen OS.
DU and Cardinal have options to set notification slider to Vibrate and Silent.

xposed module VibrateMode works like a charm
meets your requirements 100%

Thank you guys. Was looking for that feature for a long time! Really appreciate that hint. :good: Will try it out.
Edit: Installed the module. Don't know if I am doing something wrong, but nothing changed... I'm on Sultans CM 13 Rom. Does anyone knows if it is compatible with this Rom? Any help appreciated.

[SHARE][SOURCE][APK][XPOSED][4.0.1 STOCK]statusbar brightness control

My favorite tweak from cyanogenmod was always the status bar brightness slide control.
I couldn't find any decent way to make that happen in ics stock evo-ware.
Want stereocam and 3d or I'd just run LS 4.4
I googled a bunch on xposed statusbar brightness and found a short reddit thread with the idea of using a bit of gravitybox to do it.
Their source excision was missing a few critical bits.
I got the original jb gravitybox modstatusbar.java, chopped it down, added different initialization process for standalone use.
Source, although very messy, is attached as a zip.
I'll share later when it's cleaned up, in the appropriate forum for xposed modules. This is my very first foray into the world of xposed module creation.
for now, evo users win first.
I had to use a gimmick from another xda thread to build working xposed modules with aide
since all development I've done this calendar year has been strictly on my evo.
At least partly because of that I wanted to toss the finished xposed module apk I built out there in the evo forum before posting anything in the xposed areas of xda.
Slide right/left across statusbar to change brightness or long press it.
temporarily overrides automatic brightness if on. Turn that off for full control.
Thanks to the gravitybox developers for sharing and their fine work!
and that reddit post for pointing me that way.
Reserved against the possibility of future development

I've only tested it on stock. Dunno if it'd even work on cm-derived stuff. Maybe cm9 but not sure.
It works with Liquid Smooth- is that cm 11?

Cm11 based anyway, there's lots of cm in the LS manifest.
good to know it works on later android versions than 4.0 anyway.
thanks for testing!

The only device booting Oreo I've got to test it on is my evo 3d, and I'm not sure if that build will even run xposed for testing.
Not tons of time to play around, either.
Source code is posted though, if you know someone else who can mod it. Code's mostly from gravitybox with some patchwork to run standalone.

[MOD][XPOSED] Battery Percentage Text

This module for Android Lollipop/Marshmallow (5.x.x/6.x.x) adds the current battery percentage to the lock screen, notification shade header, and status bar. The app includes options for enabling or disabling the injected text, changing the position of the text relative to the battery icon, and changing the appearance of the text.
Note that this has not been tested on Nougat (7.x.x). As of Oreo (8.x.x), this module is no longer needed, as the battery percentage text is now properly shown alongside the battery icon when enabled in the System UI Tuner.
Xposed Module Repository
thanks for this module. it is possible to add an option so we can see the battery percentage text on the right side of the battery icon?
Not working on CM 12.1. I'd be happy to test out any test releases to get this working. This is something I miss from KitKat.
Thank you so much man @Extrinsic. It has puzzled me to no ends why there was no decent module for this very specific purpose. This is such neat & useful module. Cheers ??
Can you send a screenahot if the lockscreen? I wanna see what it's like, and hate to take risks (downloading modules and flashing things - i have tons of data on ny phone) for no good reason.

Just get an app which tells you the percentage. There are so many. I think "battery doctor" does that, and you could really easily do something like that with tasker.

Nexus 5 stock 6.0.1 work OK
it seems that font size is smaller at status bar than at lock screen, don't it?
This absolutely genius module no longer works on most ROMs it used to. Probably due to framework changes in AOSP.
Can you kindly update it to work with current AOSP ROMs?
Plus, it never worked on any CM-based ROMs due to their customization.
Thank you so much.
New version (v1.1):
- Added support for unexpanded notification shade header
- Added options for customizing positions and font sizes
- Allowed injected text to receive alpha channel and color changes made to status bar elements
- Fixed compatibility issues with some AOSP and CyanogenMod-based ROMs

I've tested it so far on the 5.1.1 and 6.0.1 Google stock ROMs, CyanogenMod 13 (6.0.1), and Pure Nexus (6.0.1). Hopefully, it should work with most near-stock ROMs now.
This is an amazing module, I am loving it, thank you for doing it. It works great with the latest update in my Moto G 3rd Generation (2015) with stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It would be nice to have an option to hide the app from the launcher, as many modules have, and It would be nice to have more text sizes, or a configurable text size bar. Anyway, it is awesome, keep the good work!

[XPOSED] Chrome Color Killer (for default address bar color)

I quickly got quite annoyed by Chrome's new 'feature' of showing customized address bar colors for certain websites. I simply prefer my address bar (and anything attached to it) to be the same default color as it always was.
As there was no option in chrome to disable this feature, I wrote this tiny Xposed module that intercepts the call to 'getThemeColor' for the chrome tabs and simply returns the default color instead.
Tested on Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) running CM12.1
// Edit:
As I was not that consistent with my naming scheme, the name in the Xposed repo turned out slightly different: "Chrome toolbar Color Killer"
(For those interested that were unable to find the module)
Thanks for this, was annoying me too!
Seems to work fine on my Nexus 5 running 6.0.1

hey man, it's just an idea for you, but could you make this work the other way round too? i mean, forcing chrome to tint the bar of a webpage in a certain color.. it could be a pro feature so you could make some cash i'm no programmer so i don't know the technical difficulties behind this but it sure would be awesome
Sorry guys for not replying any sooner, but I've been crazy busy at work
Also, I got myself a new phone which remains unrooted for now, so any of the issues that may occur with the Xposed module I cannot reproduce.

From your log I assume that Chrome has moved some internals around since I built this module. Perhaps someone would be interested in picking things up and figure out what to tap into to disable this annoying feature once more.

Sounds like a great idea! Though that is one hell of a lot more complicated than what I was aiming for. I would be happy to share the code I have with anyone who might be interested in fixing / updating stuff. Maybe they could also figure out a way to include your idea.
For now I won't be working on this module anymore, but if someone would be interested in the source code, just let me know. There's probably a way I can share it...
A simpler idea is to make the bar always default to a color, for example black. Coupled with chromium night mode it would be the ultimate night browsing experience.
Let's fix this great module!

I really love the feature of this module.. And I also like the idea to set a user-chosen color of the toolbar for each website (for example I LOVE black!!) So if you can share the code (preferably for Android Studio) there are many chances to succeed! I am a developer too and I already build some "tests" Xposed modules.. So let me know! Thanks

Great module! Not working for me at the moment though. Not sure if chrome has been updated recently.

You could share the source code on github. I do not have any time right now, but I would be interested in working on it, come April (2017). That is, if someone else has not already done it by then.

Oxygenify - Make your ROM look like Oxygen OS

Hello Guys
First of all I'm not responsible if anything happens to your device!
I tested this on my own Phone running CM13.
This is a Xposed Module to mimick some functions of Oxygen OS by OnePlus.
Its intended to work on CM.
I built it for devices with a notification slider, like the OnePlus X or the OnePlus 2.
Features:
Remove the ability to stop priority mode and silence mode from the volume slider
Custom Toast-Like messages when the Do Not Disturb Mode changes
Please keep in mind that this is a test version!
Please report all bugs!

Why do you think that, what would you change, I'm open about any kind of ideas? Isn't that kinda like it looks on Oxygen OS?

You have a OP2 I suppose? Can you check the Xposed log? I don't have a OnePlus X but it's not hooking on anything device specific. What do you mean with icon in notifybar? The one that's always there?
Yes, OP2. I have a slider set to ring-vibration-silence except alarm. When the switch is in notifybar icon of vibration or silence. Toast not necessary. But it's just a detail, appworks good. Protocol - I do not know where to find.
Works great on latest cm13 by Seraph08. I missed the toast notification thanks, but it needs more beautifycation.
Can you enable options for slider to change to vibrate mode? The previous Alert Slider module doesn't support CM13
Can you add something to hide the "dont disturb mode" on lock screen?
Lp 5.1.1
Thanks
It would be nice if you could use only one of the features. I dont want the toast message but the volume slider tweak sounds awesome.

[MOD][Xposed] NoHeadsetNotification

This module disables the "Headset is plugged in" notification.
I didn't find an existing module that does this, presumably this isn't an issue on most devices, and most other people have modules that let them control all of their notifications, but for those of you who want a more lightweight / targeted approach hopefully this works for you.
Download from the xposed repo: http://repo.xposed.info/module/io.github.joshuawebb.noheadsetnotification
Tested on my Xperia Z5 (Android 6.0.1)
One of my friend was looking for this module. Thanks.

Perfect, surprised nobody bothered to do this before, baffled that Sony feels it's so super important to the point that there's no way to disable it or at the very least allow users to dismiss it.

in Touchwiz marshmallow simply turn off Recommended app. Swipe down status bar then click edit (same as if we want to arrange quick settings), then look look for Recommended apps > turn off. Will no more headset icon in stat bar. simple.
