It seams I have slow charge bug. So I'm trying to enter System Dump so I can turn on Low Battery Dump option
problem is that code *#9900# doesn't work. Lot's of other codes doesn't work also, but some do (usually ones starting with *#*# )
I have rooted S3 with CM 12 rom (ArchiDroid 3.1.5)
I also tried to disable a whole bunch of system apps that were described on the net as safe to disable but didn't help...
I have non-system non-google few apps and games installed...
I can't figure put how to enter safe mode and test if an app (and which one) is maybe blocking the 9900 command
help?

change rom if you want use that command,
stock rom = work
mods = unknown
well, I don't need that command in particular, I just need way to set Low Battery Dump option to "on". this is the only way I know of how to do it
hmm i check that and its placebo imo
need more test haha
a wipe cache did improve charge speed but I would like to be sure and also turn battery dump option on, placebo or not...

Feel free to move this thread or answer me whenever you can, but please help me!
I'll start telling you my specs. I've got a LG P760 Rooted and with Superluminal ROM by Antariksh (Thanks dude!)
The pictures taken with the system camera are stored in the internal SD slot, which is lacking more and more as I install apps.
I've been using Tasker for a while now yet I cannot figure out why I can't move files automatically with it.
I'm using this task:
> dir myfolder %dlfiles
> For %file Items %dlfiles() ----> syntax with %var() I found over the internet and never used before
> Move from %file to newdir
> End For
However, I get two types of error:
- if I select "Use root" nothing happens
- if I unselect "Use root" I get "Failed to rename olddirfile to newdirfile
I tried also taking away the % from %dlfiles() but still nothing to do.
SO, I decided to ask for you guys' help! Thanks a lot for every answer! :highfive:

Is it possible to Up?
Hello. Before the Lollipop upgrade, I was able to set an alert when I reached a preset level of mobile data usage. While I can now see the graph for data usage, I no longer see a way to set the alert. Does anyone know how to set this?
MT2L03, EMUI 3.1
It should be in the settings, on the graph itself. I don't remember if Huawei changed it on EMUI though.

Hi ScoobSTi. You are correct for standard lollypop but Huawei appears to have changed it a bit. The graph is still there but the options to set the alert is gone. It's a pretty graph though. :-/
I can't find how to set it but I still get a warning over 2gb. Next time I get it I will see if I can find the setting on the screen that pops up.
Here are the pics that it exists, but for the life of me I cannot find how to access them. I don't know if they defaulted over somehow from JB cause I don't remember setting the limit on LP.
ok this worked for me to be able to find it and edit the settings.

Many thanks! That worked.
No Problem I wonder if this could just be an edit in the build.prop
I have Y5 prime has EMUI 8.0 based on Oreo 8.1
Got September security patch, installed it, ran into some problems, factory reseted it, then it was fine.
Afterwards, had this weird bug that prevent me from allowing apps to access data usage. I don't recall having that. I go to the menu through Settings>Apps and notifications>Special app access>usage access I can see apps which are allowed and those not. But i click and nothing happens. Any suggestions? I wanted to use some data montioring apps so it required this permission. Where other permissions can be toggled on/off normally (ex. Draw over other apps or Modify system settings)
I tried safe mode but with no luck.

Thanks in advance.
Another factory reset no luck.. Please any one ? can't use any data saving or monitoring app.. It's boggling me.. Can't use logcat cause I'm not rooted.. Can't flash any Firmware again.. Have no access to PC as of now.. Any suggestions what to do? Or how to approach it?
Hello, anyone knows how to add an exception for folder?
In MIUI10 it's not possible or I don't know how to do. Cause is I have a folder in my sdcard with all my apks, and the "cleaner" shows as "trash".
In MIUI8/9 cleaner screen was like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And only needs to uncheck the "category"
Now, in this fabulous update, It's like this:
And if I have 150 apk files, I need todo add 150 files, one by one, to exception list. Any workaround to do this?
Am following. I also have challenges on that as it doesn't give any option menu to add
Personally I think MIUI is going backward instead going forward
Following. Hoping for a solution. I can't add any app to exception. I don't have an SD Card installed if that matters.
Go to security->cleaner->scan now after scanning press on the file
Press on the file once dont press and hold
Now there should be a pop up with the option to add to exception
Let the scan complete fully to get the files list
Go to security->cleaner->scan now after scanning press on file icon then press one time data and cache below the icon. You'll get the option of add exceptions.
Whenever any apks are sideloaded, the following notice pops out and ask whether to grant permissions, always the three options, which are very annoying. Any ways to set by default or disable it?

You have to turn off the MIUI optimization in developer menu.
You'll get the stock android prompts.
Keep in mind that turning off MIUI optimization will bring the logd system app that drains battery. Google logd to see what I mean.
Not sure it's worth it.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Too bad, perhaps we have to click three toogles every time to sideload any apps without sacrificing for battery drains by logd
