Question How can I disable the permission notice in MIUI 13? - Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro

Whenever any apks are sideloaded, the following notice pops out and ask whether to grant permissions, always the three options, which are very annoying. Any ways to set by default or disable it?

You have to turn off the MIUI optimization in developer menu.
You'll get the stock android prompts.
Keep in mind that turning off MIUI optimization will bring the logd system app that drains battery. Google logd to see what I mean.
Not sure it's worth it.

Too bad, perhaps we have to click three toogles every time to sideload any apps without sacrificing for battery drains by logd

I maybe the last to know this battery saver tip

If I'm the last to know you can make fun of me. Just read in my Get Started user guide if you hit the back button instead of the home button it turns the app off.
That's why I always seem to have several apps running
I hit home a lot, now I know
Enjoying my 3vo
in android the background processes barely touch the battery it's managed well and you don't have to worry about them being open.

Bwahahahahahahah!!!!
With that out of the way, there are some really poorly coded apps that kill the battery even if it's not doing anything in the background. Even if the app does not, it takes away available memory, though it's usually not that much.
P.S. The first line is a joke .
any app that you can close with the back button(android has always done this as far as i know) you can also close in the task manager
but ive tested. not all apps close with the back button(still shows as running in Applications). probably something the dev of the app needs to allow

Help hiding the VPN icon in Touchwiz

In stock Android previous to 5.0 the VPN icon appears as an annoying persistent key in the top left like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After 5.0 they moved it as a system icon to the right and it can be turned off or adjusted.
It looks like this:
It seems like in Touchwiz they never updated this and the key is still on the left. Even if you're using 5.1.1 (I assume 6.0 will be the same.)
---
2 Questions:
1) Without rooting, is there a way to remove or hide that icon?
2) Is there a way to file a bug or ticket with Samsung to let them know to fix this in the new Touchwiz? Or some other way of contacting them?
1) Long press on the notification and see if you can disable the notifications there.
2) ha Good luck with that.

Just have to live with it then.

Can't enter System Dump with *#9900#

It seams I have slow charge bug. So I'm trying to enter System Dump so I can turn on Low Battery Dump option
problem is that code *#9900# doesn't work. Lot's of other codes doesn't work also, but some do (usually ones starting with *#*# )
I have rooted S3 with CM 12 rom (ArchiDroid 3.1.5)
I also tried to disable a whole bunch of system apps that were described on the net as safe to disable but didn't help...
I have non-system non-google few apps and games installed...
I can't figure put how to enter safe mode and test if an app (and which one) is maybe blocking the 9900 command
help?

change rom if you want use that command,
stock rom = work
mods = unknown
well, I don't need that command in particular, I just need way to set Low Battery Dump option to "on". this is the only way I know of how to do it
hmm i check that and its placebo imo
need more test haha
a wipe cache did improve charge speed but I would like to be sure and also turn battery dump option on, placebo or not...

Would you know how this affect battery?
ONE GR8 8
Still no, I setup it today and I had half battery already. Will see from tommorow.
I installed the update but now it keeps crashing, making the phone freeze completely for a short period. Anyone know of a way to roll back?

Not sure if it will work but try this:
Go to settings - applications - Always On Display, 3 dots and uninstall updates.

Question Time difference and/or persistent alarm?!

Hi, I have noticed an alarm that is constantly 10 mins ahead of the actual time. I have no alarms in the stock clock app and I have uninstalled the only 3rd party alarm app, yet it still shows and just constantly rolls remaining 10 mins ahead of the current time. No alarm ever goes off.
I'm using Nova 7 as my launcher, but it still shows on the locksmith even after I change back to the Pixel launcher. I have only noticed this after installing the Dec software update.
Can anyone help me to get rid of it? It's doing my head in. Thanks.
