can somebody help me.
I'm using 4.1.2 the One Rom, at RAZR i Motorola.
It has Thai language but if I choose it and want to tip in Thai. The Language is not shown on the display.
If I tip something on my phone in Thai, I do not see the letters but if I send them to PC I can see the Thai letters.
How to add the Thai script.
Do I have to compile the ROM new ?

I recently bought a Touch Dual from Orange UK, and i'd like to know if i could change it's language to Portuguese, i prefer the windows mobile in English, but when i'm writing a text message in Portuguese, the T9 is in English.

if yuo prefer English yuo need only select yuor language in xt9 options!
you have the original rom or a cooked one?
I prefer Portuguese on messages.
The ROM is in English, but this is ok for me.
What i wanted is to disable the T9.

I just got an HTC Hero in Singapore and it only comes with English and Chinese. I would however like to add French as an input language. Any idea ?
you need a custom HTC_IME for the language keybaords
so far the only ones I have encountered are the:
HTC_IME: english
HTC_IME: chinese
HTC_IwinnI: Japanese
So my main language is portuguese. The thing is when I flash a custom rom I'll get to choose a language, usually I do portuguese ofc. But for example in the messaging application, when I'm typing I won't get get the suggestions in portuguese, I always get them in english (english words are sugested I mean).
Is there any way to fix this / add a language to choose from with the proper suggestions? Thanks in adance

Go to Settings > Language and keyboard > Touch Input > Keyboard language > change it to whatever you want
Humm the thing is I only have Select Locale (language and region), Android keyboard and User Dictionary under Language and Keyboard. Even with the language set to portuguese it'll show english sugestions on the messaging app =C
*EDIT* Have tried Morelocale2, with everything in portuguese it still shows english suggestions on the messaging app.
*EDIT2* Switched to another language and it properly showed the suggestions, so I guess the files of portuguese are probably missing or something. Any idea how I can fix this, please please?
*EDIT3* I've found out there aren't spell checker files for pt-PT in android. However on the official 1.5 htc rom I had spell checking of pt-PT working properly. Is there any way to import those files for another rom?

I am an owner of a Galaxy s-2 GT-i9100, I am currently with 4.1.2 JB LSD Rom (alliance rom) and i experience this issue.
My Phone Language is set to English, My contacts are both English and greek, but when i am in english language on the phone I have only english alphabet not (both english and greek) at the right and all the greek names are at the bottom after the "z",. With the stock rom ISC 4.0.4 i didnt have this issue, neither with CM 9.
Is there any way so i can fix this ?

What kind of names are they? Maybe you can post a picture of it showing just the first letter. (Hide the rest in paint or something)
My contacts are in in greek language the 90%, others are enblish, So the problem is in order to have at contancts at the right side as u see the phone the alphabet is in english only, doesnt contain greek letters, so if i want to use the alphabet at the right side in greek I need to switch to greek language and i dont want.

And if you add the greek language to your keyboard? You probably have that allready

Yeap same. It only works with ICS and Cm 9 that have custom contact app.
