Perfomance Problems

Hi, I just installed Remix OS on my laptop Bangho Pine Trail M, wich carries an intel atom processor with an intel hd-graphics 3150, and 2GB of RAM, but I've noticed some serious performance problems, especially when I try to watch a Youtube video, or when I play the lollipop's Flappy Android game.
Do you now the reason? and how can I fix it?
thank you, and sorry for my bad english.
Some apps have known performance issues right now, Youtube among them. The best way to play back video right now seems to be Kodi, just get the Youtube plugin for it and you'll be set there.

Remix better than ever

hello from Venezuela .
I was about to give up on remix but from version 3.0.104 me a formaunica works with some flaws that I hope they can fix and release once the stable version .
my laptop has these features:
TOSHIBA NB250-108
Intel® Atom™ processor N455
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3150
remix os version 3.0.103
open gl driver version, gl vendor intel open source technology center
RENDERE: pineview m
GL VERSION: OPEN GL 2.0
2gb ram
256 video
all my work well , most of the games open although many of them with long lag in phoenix will open without lag the problem with wifi disappeared , the problem with the play store went well and that is appreciated.
phoenix still works fast but is more fluid.
fails a list of errors to solve missing :
* when the computer is suspended and resumed work no more, it freezes completely and does not react.
* better fluidity, as you may phoenix you just go by the version 1.0.9 and is more fluid and less problems
* android remix is customizable but no, I can not install launcher
* Jetpack Joyride also runs slow and phoenix will run normally
I hope I take into account.
*applications should run in the background when you close not stay open or if but for a short time.
*the keymapping not fit as it should no longer allows only bigger put smaller.
things to add:
Luanchers

Would Remix OS perform better than Remix OS Player?

Hello,
I've recently installed Remix OS Player on my PC but it hasn't met that image on my mind, it was very laggy and had a long mouse delay.
My PC specs are,
CPU: i3-4130
RAM: 8GB 1600Mhz
GPU: AMD Radeon r9 270x
SSD: Intel 60GB
HDD: WD Green 2TB
I didn't want to start downloading games as I was afraid they would be also laggy so I thought that installing Remix OS itself as an OS would be much better (2 cores instead of 1, 8GB RAM instead of 3, etc.)
Would it be smooth? Should I install it on the HDD or remove my windows from SSD and install it there? I'm not looking to replace my windows just it's location.
I'm sorry if this is kind of spamming the forum I thought I'd get help directly from users.
@Iamhady Remix OS Player is an emulator which implies far lower performance when compared to system ran natively on the machine.
Remix OS for PC is a full OS and it will definitely run faster than Player. On your specific device it should run very fast regardless of whether u install it on HDD or SSD.
Of course SSD will provide even better performance, but that's just up to you.
Have in mind that Remix will most likely utilize your integrated graphics card instead of the dedicated Radeon.
You can always install Remix to a USB stick and boot from it as a test.
Once you boot Remix on your device, go to settings, about tablet and scroll down to find OPENGL renderer. If it's Intel mesa/i915 than OK, if it's radeon - even better. If it's Intel, you can test if Remix can use the dedicated graphics card by adding EXTMOD=radeon to kernel line in grub menuentry (u can find how to do that on that forum or in Google).
Good luck

@Vioner thank you for the info! Glad to know so before downloading Remix OS.
I'll try installing it on a USB stick first and see how that goes.
As for the graphics I wouldn't mind if it uses the integrated graphics as long as it can run any Android game with a playable frame rate. But I really hope it can use the GPU for games like Mortal Kombat X and other GPU intensive games.
I've started downloading it!

You have luckily downloaded it in the last version day
Farewell, Remix OS. (Focusing on enterprise, huh.)

Remix OS for Live Streaming?

Remix OS is a wonderful project. I've been playing Android games on my old laptop and they run smoothly, barely dropping below 50 fps (just my estimate), and very seldom lags. What's more is I can play via ethernet cable if I wanted to.
I'm just curious, is there a way to live stream your Android games using Remix OS? Has anyone tried it and succeeded?
I tried using the YouTube Gaming app and it doesn't seem to work. The other 3rd party live streaming apps also failed on me. My only option is to mirror the gameplay to my tablet using Inkwire and livestream using the tablet, but the problem is that it causes delay. Is there a workaround to make the livestreaming apps work on Remix OS?

Abysmal performance on brand new x96 mini android box

Hi all, my name is Liam and I bought a new x96 mini android tv box for media and games
The specs are better than my old tablet which used to run GTA: SA fine
I tried to run it on the android tv and the initial writing displaying the license agreement was sluggish when it swapped to the next screen
The menu is not laggy but the game crashes after loading, just before the game starts
No anr, just straight back to the home screen
Gangstar 4 and MCE lag terribly
I intend to flash the Poison ROM for S905x devices because this box fits the criteria but I don't know how to fix it
The box is running android 7.1.2 and is connected to a VGA monitor via a converter I bought with the box
Reducing the screen resolution and pixel density through an adb shell has proved ineffective
Please help, I had such high hopes for this thing
