I was able to connect to an open ad-hoc network using wifi ad-hoc enabler in Oxygen ROM. I did a backup jst bfore installing the enabler and restarted. Everything was FC ing. But, I installed wifi enabler and it was working. As almost every app is FC ing, I installed CM 7.2 RC1 and tried wifi enabler. It was not working in CM for me .It shows the network but unable to connect

ROM compatibility might be the issue...
I guess, its time to revert back to stock bcoz of frustrating, yet silly issues in custom ones
Running cyanogenMod-7.1.0-RC1-Thunderbolt-KANG just barely Flashed. I can add a Gmail acct manually but then it gives me an error:
Setup could not finish
Unable to open connection to server.
Sends me back to edit Details:
Domain\Username
Password
Server
**also gives me 2 boxes to check: Use Secure Connection (SSL) and Accept all SSL certificates
Underneath that i have no clue what it means no option available just below these 2 boxes::: androidc2000786247
I can't sign into the Gapps, kicks me out to main screen, I've tried downloading .apks, .zip.. Is there a specific Gapps I'm supposed to download with my version of CyanogenMod? I use GooMan to find either .apk or .zips then ROM Manager to try to install or try to install in BootLoader. I cant update ROM Manager b/c I cannot log-in to the G Play which has installed but just kicks me out. Any help. Specifics on which Gapp I need/URL that takes me straight to 1 download would def help. Thanks. And yes super long just trying to be specific.

Use thundershed over at rootzwiki. It's cm7.2 and doesn't have that issue.

Thank you! i will flash this ROM tomorrow went right to a link for Gapps and the cm7.2. One more question what Kernel/Radio would you recommend running with this ROM? I looked for hours last night for the MR2 or 2.5 radio. Any other advice would be grrreeeaaat!!
JesseONx>>
Try the mr4 radio with imo's 6.2 aosp kernel. The rom will fly.

hey guys,
so recently i decided to flash one of the many S5 ROMs that are now available to the s3, after wiping my phone i found that the wifi would not connect, i'd put the password in then it would just say "saved, secured".. ive downloaded several similar ROMs since then only to run into the same problem every time.. all the other features work fine its just the wifi, which is quiet essential..
i live in new zealand and have an i9300T..
thanks to anyone who can help me out as i really like the S5 software!
Go to data folder of your device by using any root explorer and create a file name it .cid.info enter in that file and edit and type murata in it.

Did you flash wifi fix right after flashing rom? Some people said that the wifi worked without applying the fix.

Which version? 2.4 or 2.5?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
This rom is v2.5, do you think I should try install older version first and then latest? I think my phone and s5 roms are not meant to be together

s5 wifi save secure problem
hey
i am using s5 and have wifi save secure problem. whenever i try to connect to wifi it shows save secure. I am new to android. ;ooking for if someody can help
This is a deodexed, flashable system-dump, that is tested on SM-N920I / C
It is my first work with custom roms.
This one should work fine to use Xposed, etc., until our rom-gurus come to this device and provide their custom-roms.
Just flash with CWM recovery and wipe cache/dalvik after flashing.
For root you need to flash a custom kernel. No kernel included here.
Xposed finally running great on N920I and 920C with a stock rom.
Known issues:
tuiService crashes after boot.

U made it??? cause 920T deodex was not working well with n920c, but my theory came true. i blacklisted Angry birds 2 and ppsspp from TW DVFS, and before the blacklist they both lagged after couple of minutes, specially the emulator.
After i blacklisted those apps, they worked SMOOTH so smooth and NO SINGLE STUTTER, so advice to all:
-If anyone experience a lag in a game after couple of minutes, disable DVFS via wannam module, or leave it enabled but add your games to the blacklist.
i started nandroid after seeing this
thank you.
Is it t-mobile one?
Wanam expsed? Dirty flash ?
Thx alot
No, not T-mobile.
It is for unbranded N920I and C.
Does S health work on your rom?
After flashing kernel on a stock rom mine stopped working
Did not test it in depth, but the app opens up and everything looks fine.
Is it auto root already? And is it Possible to flash from twrp?
Need to test... I tested only with CWM.
Online now... See 1st post.
Enjoy!
And I'm not happy that my kernel is included by default.

Sorry, but I'd appreciate it if you update your ROM removing my kernel.
Your kernel is not included in this rom.
(Would never do that without asking you...)

Initially I wrote that I tested it with your kernel....
I have model "i", first I have to instal CWM (where can I find it), then yout custom rom?, thanks
You can use the kernel of arter97. He is also providing cwm recovery.

Can you provide the Xposed framework and apk which you tested ???
Thanks for the work ...
This one works:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
I've encountred some really bugging issues:
After applying the zip file, when i connected to the internet, the google drive keep coming on front all the time, couldn't do anything.
The solution was disconnect from the web, install a seperate APK with google drive, then reconnect and everything works.
NFC service somehow always on, and i can't turn it off no matter what i do, it kills the battery in an instant.
Since I am new and can't post in the development forum...
I really like this Rom but I can not get it to access any network functions either cell or data. I have tried both versions, waited when flashed and booted before rebooting, dirty flashed v1 to v2... but no matter what I get these:
SAE has stopped (after boot up)
Insert Sim Card to access network services (on sprint?)(when attempting to turn Mobile Data on)
and it says in the top bar "checking device status"
Can not update profile or prl
Please help...
What modem and baseband are you on?
Sim card not recognized
I have the same problem although SAE went away when I chose note 3 camera but still no service and Sim card not found!
Modem is listed as unknown and not even an option for baseband

sac's rom is ancient and other people have made improvements to darkera's Lp note 5 port. Try Music of Life LP rom from main note3 forum. Since there's zero interest to port them to the sprint , install with XAS csc to allow apn editing. If you don't mind some bugs, try the S7 edge ports instead. Darkera, music of life, and others currently have s7 ports. They all have their own threads (darkera has his english thread at samsungvn) if you want to ask further questions about them.

Try going to build.prop and changing the device name to:
ro.product.model=SM-G925F
I'm not sure why either wouldn't work they work fine for me but that is a setting I changed to get themes to work.

I'll try that, thank you again for all of your help. I have noticed that smart select is working after boot up and for a little while after, then it stops. Something must be killing it after a while, I've tried deselecting various Xposed modules but have stuck out so far figuring out the correct one. Hopefully this will work

Try freezing sae 2.0 in titanium. Seemed like that had something to do with it as well. It's been a while.

Thank you, I did want to try Phronesis' 6.5 but just wasn't confident that I'd be able to get data to work. I seems like it works great with xposed, enough though there's so much baked in that most modules wouldn't be necessary. I wanted a 5.1.1 stable ROM, MM still seems to be too buggy, it seems like Sac's was the only alternative for me, but I guess I need to figure out the APN option to make others work with Sprint.
