I like GTA 3 since it's a classic but GSR is damn good also. You should try them both

Hi everyone,
Christmas is coming and I'd like to buy a tablet. It's the first one that I'll get and I'm not sure yet if it's worth buying it. I've got a Samsung Galaxy S II and I'm really happy with it, I think I'll get a new phone next year (Maybe a Nexus device).
So, I can't decide between 2 devices:
-LG G Pad 8.3: it has a bigger screen (I think 8 inch is the perfect size even if I haven't tried it) and a faster CPU (I don't mind SD Slot)
-Google Nexus 7 2013: it's cheaper, smaller and, well, a nexus. I love modding and I'd flash a ParanoidAndroid (it seems there aren't many developers on G Pad 8.3), however I love Nexus devices' instant updates.
I'd choose Nexus 7, but I don't know if the screen is too small for a tablet. I'll use it for movies, games, browsing, and music. Here in Italy G Pad costs 255€, while Nexus 7 (32 GB) is 232€. Has someone got any advice for me?
Sorry for my english!

I would go with the Nexus 7 2013 because it's performance is excellent, plus you mentioned you love device modding and the Nexus 7 2013 has an very active development community, additionally it will have fastest updates as it's a Nexus device. As far as size is concerned 7 inches compared to 8.3 isn't necessarily that much of a difference compared to 7 inches and say 10 inches, but it really is a personal preference. If you do end up wanting the LG G Pad I would recommend taking a look at the Google Play Edition of the device that was just released if it's available on the Italian Google Play Store. Overall I would go with the Nexus 7 2013.

Hey there,
I'm planning to buy my first tablet and I'd love a nexus device as I like modding or the LG G Pad 8.3 (which is only 220€ here on Amazon Italy) but I've heard that a Nexus 8 may come out very soon.
So, what do you guys think? Should I wait for a new device?

Both the n7 2012 and 2013 are still remarkable devices and will have official support for some time to come and also many talented devs that will keep both tabs relevant for years to come.
The nexus 8 is still a rumor as there is back and forth about turning all the nexus line to android silver which won't be the same. If I were to bet we will still see a nexus 8 in the next few months but there's no guarantee, still at least for me, the 7 inch form factor is perfect, I also have a nexus 10 but the n7 is what I use all day.

about 5 hours screen.
Hello, my Nexus 5x just died on me today.
I had it for 2 years, after having G3 LG for 2 years.
I would like to get Xiaomi phone now but am bit confused on which one to get?
I can get REDMI NOTE 4 or REDMI NOTE 4X, or MI4.
Don't understand the differences even though I have read a lot about both.
Also, do you think getting one of these today will make me happy for next 2 years or so?
Thanks
Get mi note 2 64gb not a lot more price better

are you sure? So with x or not, it's always a "mido" version https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/mido
If I've correctly understood, there aren't differences between the two apart band frequncies: which of the two phone is most suitable in Europe

Yeah, but there also mtk variant in the name of redmi note 4 and 4x.
Fyi : any Redmi note 4 / 4x with Snapdragon SOC are mido and official LineageOS available.
Any Redmi Note 4/4x with Mediatek are nickel there's no official Los
Currently Redmi note 4x snapdragon - mido is the best developer phone from xiaomi .
Thank you all.
I ended up getting Redmi Note 4x with 3gb ram, snapdragon.
So far it is amazing.
Only option I wish for is DPI changer. I found some ways to do it, but having hard time to establish adb connection with my computer. I'll figure it out.

For Europe you want Redmi Note 4 Global (Snapdragon 625), it is "international" version with LTE B20 support, Redmi Note 4x was originally made for Asian market and it's missing this band.Other than that they are pretty much same phones.

Redmi Note 4x doesnt support B20, it's asian variant. The link you sent has frequencies available for Redmi Note 4 Global not 4x, all this websites are messing up this 2 models.
Show me where you want to buy and i'll find Global.
Redmi Note 4 Global (Snapdragon 625) - B5:850 /B8:900 /B4:1700 /B3:1800 /B1:2100 /B7:2600 /B20:800 /B38:2600MHz B40:2300MHz
Redmi Note 4x (Snapdragon 625) - B3:1800/ B1:2100/ B7:2600/ B5:850 MHz /B38:2600/ B39:1900/ B40:2300/ B41:2555- 2655MHz
Redmi Note 4x is missing B20 which is used in Europe and B4 which is used in America (i think).

yes probably is correct your version,
I've read other thread on forum about this missing band on 4x (also if maybe there are some version of 4x with this band), so I've undo my order just in time.
