Any .apk or .zip I can flash that will allow me to have the Fallout terminal lock screen as my lock screen. When you access a locked terminal it has all that random strings of letters, number, symbols and words and you select the password out of that. When I awake my lg g3 running newest CM13 nightly I want to swipe and it open a screen exactly like on the terminal and have to select my password that I have chosen to be my password. Of course with the audio of the terminal in the game too when opening it, all the random strings appearing, selecting the wrong password , selecting the correct password. I would like it to be an option in the lock screen menu though so I can easily switch from it to a pin or just swipe or no lock screen at all and then back to fallout terminal as I please. Thanks!

I ported the firmware CM7.2 (from u8150) for the u8350 and noticed a strange connection between keylayout file and screen auto-rotate.
By default when system boot, the screen is stay in the standart for this device - the landscape mode, then after system complete boot and appeared "lock screen" device screen automatic changes to portrait mode and stays there forever(broken).
BUT, I accidentally discovered that if in the file "qwerty. Kl" remove or comment out the line "key 16 Q", then the auto-rotate works correctly from the start, but respectively stop work "q" key on device keyboard.
Please help me to understand the causes of this.
I am using Lenovo P770(unrooted).It has been locked as number of pattern attempts were exceeded.I have my wifi/data connection off.I tried receiving call n making call to access the scroll down menu bt it didn't worked.
i was trying to delete the file which contains pattern info. via aroma file manager,as mentioned in a youtube video named "How to Unlock android phone after too many pattern attempts without help of Gmail-Internet".
But,i couldn't see the option "install zip from sd card".
Can u pls explain why i am not seeing that option...??..or else some other way out.
I don't want my data to be erased.
So, on previous phones you could simply delete the /data/system/password.key file to disable the lockscreen password. Does anyone happen to know where Samsung has put it?
/data/system/locksettings.db-*
/data/system/gesture.key
/data/system/sparepassword.key
/data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db

Thanks, but,
locksettings.db-* is simply information for what type of lockscreen, it sadly does not hold the value for the lock pin/password you set.
gesture.key does hold the pattern you selected.
sparepassword.key holds the pin you chose for your backup pin from the pattern.
settings.db is just a database for the general settings
I cannot for the life of me figure out where the "password.key" file is. I think Samsung changed this location. But according to the source code, it should be the same location. -.-
I figured it out.
System property, security.mdpp needs to be set to "None" in order for it to use the standard path. I'm not sure where its putting it if that is set to Ready. The smali is hard to follow. But i got it working properly now Thanks!
Hi, my security.mdpp is set to "None" by default but still I get no password.key file. I used Delayed Lock successfully on my Galaxy S4 but it won't work well on my S5 since it heavily relies on that file to also do the unlocking, when another admin is active that requires PIN Lock.
I am looking for an information on how to get back the S4 behaviour referring to that file.
?
I'm trying to add one more option to this dialog, but I don't know which method calls this dialog. And this new button should open the window which appears when user clicks 'connect' and automatically fill username and password that are pre-defined. Is it possible to do?
There are some modules which modify this Wifi dialog. Check this for example: https://github.com/whdeveloper/WiFiKeyView/tree/master/src/com/whd/wifikeyview
I was able to make activate google assistant in my rooted android instance on Chromebook Pro. However, I get stuck on the screen "setting not supported". Any ideas? Assistant on this thing would be a game changer. I can't take a picture of the actual error box because google greys out screenshots when sensitive dialog boxes are being displayed. The warning is literally just "setting not supported" I'm guessing there is no assistant support at all in this version of android but maybe it's possible to add it?
can chromebook plus do that?
can you please post your method?
I had it!!!!
I was able to get Google Assistant working on my rooted Chromebook cb3 - 532 using Google app version 6.11.19.21 and the latest assistant app on the playstore.. However, no sooner than I updated, it was no longer working. I came up with another idea which I'm trying out now.... I'm attempting to alter two PROP files using the rooting shell scripts provided by Nolirium at blogspot for rooting chrome os to make the drive writable and set selinux to permissive, in order for my changes to build.prop and default.prop to survive the reboot, and be effective.

Hey!!!
Actually it is possible on all chromebooks in the canary channel. I’ve done it to my dell chromebook 11 candy model from 2015. Here is how you do it:
1. Be in developer mode (assuming you already are in it.)
If you aren’t in it and don’t know how to, press esc+refresh+power. When it boots up, press control+d and again when it boots up again. NOTE THIS DOES POWER WASH YOUR DEVICE!!!
2. Once you sign into your account again, press control+alt+t and a terminal will show.
3. Type in “shell” and hit enter.
4.Then type in “live_in_a_coal_mine” and press enter again.
5. Press “y”
6. when it is done, go to your settings and update your machine.
7. When it is done, go to chrome://flags and search for “assistant” and then enable it.
8. Then reboot.
9. When your device is done rebooting, go to chrome://assistant-optin and follow the instructions. 10. Then you have google assistant installed!!!
You can find it in the launcher. It’s the assistant button next to the search bar. If you set voice activation, you can also activate it by saying “ok google” or “hey google”
