Does this ROM work? I love CM13 and would like to get my touchpad updated with something more current then CM9...
Thanks!
Judging by the dearth of posts since September - I wouldn't hazard to guess.....
If you're looking at updating check under 'Development'. Marshmellow wasn't real popular IIRC.
CM11 is very solid for our TPs.

Sweet!
Just flashed it on my rezound running the leaked global firmware, latest dbs kernel I think is 2.3.8 and Viper's rom and it runs fine. I downloaded and played the free game. The directional pad takes a little getting used to but other than that it ran fine.
Can we download this new ota software update if we are rooted/s-off? I'm running viper Rom and I'm not sure if I can do this ota update.

Not sure why?
Just curious. The larger the size usually the more important the update. Smaller ones just tend to be bug fixes.

To answer your question about downloading and installing on viper. No not a good idea. Most likely it would fail.

My stock phone doesn't show an update available. If there is one, someone should capture it.

Hmm actually your right..haha I didn't look at the dates on what I found on google, it was all old..I dunno why I got this update notification now and it won't go away..
Look at the last few posts in the Viper thread in the dev forum. It was a mistake on their part, you can disregard the update, as it does nothing.

Thats how it comes up. I just want to install that revolution rom and the proper firmware.
Android Revolution is only for International models.

Thanks I just installed the rom you suggested and its great. Does is improve performance with games hanging to the point where you have to tilt your phone and then tilt it back to use touch again? I flashed the kernel too btw.
I still have my HTC One from last year, and I have noticed a big change in the audio output ever since HTC's contract with Beats was over. At any rate, is there a way to flash Beats Audio to the Max?
I posed the same question here a few weeks ago and was told no. But was told to try the ViPER4Android_FX which is a flashable zip. You can find reference to it in these threads.

You should at least s-off while you can so preserve the option to root later. You can stay stock while s-off and even while rooted. I have.

Hi All,
I’ve visited the TWRP Official site and looked for the download and the Device is not found when I do a search for the S5 Is there an official release for the S5?
-NJ
There isn't one yet for the s5. Go to the international development forums and flash the one there. It works great. Would post the link bit on mobile right now and it is kind of a pain in the butt.

One more quick side note.
Does backup and restore work in it?
Want to make sure I can save the flly stock - rooted rom before I start tinkering with things again.
Yea, it seems like everything works perfectly. Have not had any issues at all. Kind of wondering though why twrp hasn't released it officially yet for the s5 since it seems to work perfectly. They already released an official version for the HTC one m8.
