Android on laptop to TV - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Is there a way I can install Android to my laptop and move it to the TV. I install Android to my laptop a long time ago and I try plug it though a HDMI and all I get is a black screen on both of them but when I unplug the HDMI it shows the Android Operating System. So I put Linux back on it. But is there a really away to move Android to my TV screen and make my laptop a black screen

[Q] Miracast (or similar) to pc?

Is it possible in anyway to use something like miracast (or any way of screen mirroring) to a media PC.
Basically I have a media PC running windows 8.1 with XBMC on it in my living room and I wanted to be able to connect my android to it to mirror the screen. Although I have not come across anything like this I am surprised that if a tiny little dongle into the back of a TV can manage this that my PC can't even if I have to buy some kind of adapter.
I hope there is some sort of solution.

Mirrored output from HDMI does not work

Hello,
I have a Tablet PC Samsung XE700. I am not connected in HDMI directly from my Tablet PC. This tablet is placed on a support and this support is connected to the external display.
I removed the old version and formatted the hard disk and I installed completely Remix OS V2.0.403, but HDMI resolution is still not correct and it is not full screen on my 24 "screen. :/
What is the solution?

Disable laptop native monitor on Remix OS standalone system

I have two laptops running Remix OS now being used as HTPC's. One is dual booted with windows 10 and Remix OS. This one I was able to disable the native monitor so that it would only display on the TV via HDMI. By booting to Windows and adding this: video=LVDS-1:d to the menu.list file. Well after making the second laptop single boot only on Remix OS I can not figure out how to disable the native display to display the HDMI alone to achieve 1080p. How can I go about doing this and maybe switch back if needed(not priority but would be nice).
Thanks for your expertise in advance
The laptop is a HP 2000-2b22DX
What I have tried.
First I attempted to find the menu.list file. In Remix OS worth a try no luck. Pulled HD and docked via USB to my desktop and had no access to the HD. Then since I have my other laptop running Remix. I used my USB dock and was able to access the HD and the RemixOS folder, but menu.list was not there.
Next I thought maybe is I disconnect the native LCD screen from the laptop motherboard it would run 1080p to the TV without the LCD keeping it at 720P. It did increase the resolution, but only to 1920x800 if I remember right.
Hopefully this information will help save others some time that are trying to achieve the same thing.

T95Zplus 3/32GB Android 7.1.2 droid settings resolutions

Sorry if this is not the right place but I did not know where else to post and I know there is a lot of the appropriate knowledge here.
I have an S912 T95Zplus Android TV box that I bought on Amazon a bit over a year ago. It is Android 7.1.2 and it boots to a program that says SmartTV Box and runs a version of Kodi 17.6 that they call KDplayer.
The main "problem" is that I have a 15+ year old HDTV Mitsubishi WS65313 that was from before HDMI. It *does* have one DVI port that Mitsubishi calls "MonitorLink/DVI" and says it follows the EIA-861 standard.
Using a DVI<->HDMI cable I am able to get the TV to display the output from the Android box. SOMETIMES. With a LOT of messing around. Once I get it set up, sometimes it will behave for several days, sometimes I will lose it on the next power off/on.
The max. the TV can do is 1080i. SOMETIMES this option is available in the "Droid Settings" app, sometimes only 1080p, 720p and 480p.
There is no way to manually force the TV into a certain resolution and the T95Zplus loses it SOMETIMES even though I set it to not automatically go to the best resolution.
When they are out of sync obviously only garbage is displayed on the TV. When this happens I either have to take the TV box and connect to computer monitor and force resolution to 480p OR manually switch (via audio receiver - sorry I forgot to tell you that was in the middle too) to a WD TV Live Streaming box I also have connected, the WD box then negotiates the TV into a good display, and when I switch back to the Android box I get about one second where I can see enough of an image to navigate the menus. After a few switches I can go though the menus and change the resolution back to 480 and get the Android box back online again.
The main thing I am asking is: Is there a way to get the Android box to always offer me the full list of resolutions? This way at least I could get back 1080i on the first try. I have tried all kinds of combinations of rebooting the Andoid box with the other stuff powered on, off, all at the same time, etc. Just when I think I have it figured out it screws me again and I am stuck on 480p until one day 1080i magically appears again.
I am hoping there is a configuration file somewhere, or maybe one I can create, to make it always display the full set of resolutions. I'm sure it has something to do with negotiation of capabilities when it boots up, but obviously the TV is very old and doesn't even have the ability to update firmware. The Adnroid I know can do what I need because sometimes it does it, but it sure is a pain and I never know when I will get the 1080i option again.
Unfortunately a new TV is not possible at this time.
THANKS in advance.
