I am kinda new at this but I have tried many roms and there gsm fixes and I cant get any to see my sim card or switch to gsm mode I am in Sweden. I have tried different cm9 ics also miui ics and and fallowed there instructions and tried there gsm fixes but still nothing any ideas?

did you flash the kddi radio?
Have you tried:
Type *#*#INFO*#*# into phone dialer.
Select Phone Information.
Select GSM auto (PRL) under "Set Preferred network type".
Not sure if those are included in the instructions you mentioned, but GSM network settings are hidden in some ROMS if GSM isn't selected in the menu above.

in testing menu (*#*#4636#*#*) in phone information in the sub menu i selected "Select radio band" and then selected usa band(the only option there) after this my sim1 dont find any network( no gsm no 3g). What can i do?
some times it find 2g network but cant register on it
can i reflash modem.img?
if yes how can i find modem.img for my firmware?

I Solved my Problem by Flashing Baseband.
i just downloaded my firmware file(ftf) and flashed its baseband only (by excluding all items and wipes exept basband in flash menu of flashtool).

By curiosity, I tap on the menu "Sélectionner une bande radio" (choose a baseband).
I've only a "United States" choice but after did nothing. I lose all my phone network.
Just the data work and the sms.
What can I do to this ?
I think to flash a baseband firmware but where can I find one ?

Switch your radio band back to automatic? Go to *#*#4636#*#* and click the overview (3 dots) at the top right. Hit select radio band, then hit automatic. Reboot phone.

I've done a Factory reset but no change.

I try to put network in Only 3G or 2G and got nothing. Maybe that's why there's no call but sms and data. No VoLTE in France.
When selecting United States band (that I didn't want to do), i break the 3G and 2G connection.

I've speak with the Motorola support in France.
In the hidden menu, i've selected the united states band so now I only received the LTE (the only which are the same than here). No 3G and no 2G.
And because We've got no VoLTE, I can't use calls.
And no method to revert this process.
Go in warranty...
Actually there should be a way, because I have the selection:
Automatic
Europe
Automatic
United States
You probably have to update to a current stock ROM so the modem firmware updates and you might be able to select a different baseband... all theory but if you still have the phone, it's worth a try.
edit: I'm using a custom ROM, so I may be wrong.
For you there is no way of using a custom ROM without having problems with warranty.
If still relevant, I made the same mistake with my stock Moto xt1650-03 and the only way managed to restore signal was by using fastboot erase modemst commands. Though I have seen people not recommending this method, it worked for me.

I Wanted to lock band for faster internet speed.
I enabled diag mode.
Checked in Device manager. yes there was qualcom COM 7......
Opened QPST. My Device was successfully connected.
Opened QXDM. - Communication - Connected MY COM 7 Qualcomm device.
In View i clicked NV Browser.
Category fileter - Seleted Lte.
In Lte BC Config - Read Value. Noted down that old value (1649267441685).
Changed Value to 4 as i wanted to connect band 3. - Write
Done.
Restarted.
Successfully connected to Band 3.
But was not getting good speed so i tried to change to Band 5.
Done all same process and in value i wrote 16. Clicked Write.
Done.
Restarted. Boo. No 4G Signal.
Tried all the thing back and entered my old value (1649267441685). But not getting 4G Signal.
I was using two SIM : 1st slot Jio4G and 2nd Slot Vodafone
After Doing this tweak i lost my 4G Signal. I Re-Entered my old Value. Still i am not getting my 4G signal back. in mobile network search it can search all 2G & 3G Signal. But no 4G Signal.
Right now i changed my Jio to 2nd SIM Slot its working right now. & Vodafone 2G is working in 1st Slot.
Is there any way to get 4G Signal back in SIM Slot 1. Please Help Me....

I have a china MI 8 Pro (AKA Mi UD 8 in china). The phone was bought in china with chinese ROM. It was working perfectly fine using same rom in India with Airtel 4G and Jio 4G LTE in india for 1 + year. I only installed Google play store and other apps as normal APK (without root / flashing). With recent OTA to MIUI 11.0.2 | Stable | 11.0.2.0 (QECCNXM), it stopped working on Airtel & Jio 4G lte networks. Factory reset didn't help. I tried with Vodafone 4G sim card, but at least it was detected as 3g.
Later I flashed stable global roms and Chinese stable rom to see if its an update issue. I also restored previous stable global rom V10.3.6.0 PECMIXM.
I have already tried changing preferred network types in engineering mode (#*#*4636*#*#), changing preferred network type in sim settings, resetting APN, manually adding APN, moving sim cards to different slots, etc with no luck.
When I manually search the network in only shows Vodafone 3g /2g and dolphin 3g/2g (MTNL) networks with "banned" word in the network name, with no matter which provider card I use in the mobile to while searching the networks. Same cards in another mobile K20 pro works in 4g LTE mode with full speed. So network in my area is not a problem
Phone is only bootloader unlocked state, I haven't tried any custom rom with twrp or making any changes as root. Root is not acquired yet, not planned too.
Phone is currently working 3g on only 2 providers (Vodafone) or Dolphin 3g. It's ok if Vodafone 4g/LTE works on same phone.
Any guidance/suggestions to make any progress in right direction to solve the problem are appreciated.
