Hi. I want to know has the fast charging option been removed from Android 6.0 update?
It wasn't working actually. You need a 9V2A adapter to use that feature. If you are using standart (5V2A) adapter, don't worry. By the way, now it detects auto on Marshmallow.

Android 4.2 detects wireless charging state but 4.1 (and below) does not. Is there a way I can force 4.1 to detect that its being wirelessly charged.
1. I was wondering if it would be possible to fake a USB charging cable connection and use the magnetic sensors on the phone to detect wireless charging state. possible?
2. How do I then force android to update the battery status if I can get the above working? Again faking a USB charging cable connection may work. Possible?
Thanks
I am one of the lucky people who will get a car with the ability to connect my smartphone to it using Mirrorlink or Android auto.
Anybody here who has tried to connect their nubia z7 mini with Android Auto or Mirrorlink? Is it even possible?
I am currently running Mokee 6.0.1 which is Android Marshallow so I am pretty confident Android auto should work.
So, is anybody using Android Auto with the Nubia z7 mini and if so, which ROM are you using and is it working well?
Since nobody could answer me and I now had the chance to test it, I can confirm that Android Auto works on the Nubia Z7 mini.
I am using Android 6.0.1 from Mokee (MK60.1-nx507j-201604060258-NIGHTLY) and everything works out of the box with no bugs or problems.
Don't know if anybody is interested in this but I can as well share the information since it might be useful someday to somebody .
Get Nubia to work with mirrorlink
Hi, i see that you've managed to get your nubia phone to work with mirror link. I was just wondering if u could help me?
I understand my phone is Nubia z11, a bit different from yours but i was wonderring if there is anyway i can make mirror link in my car to recognise my Nubia z11?
Ive downloaded android auto into the phone but whenever i connect my phone to my car using USB it just keeps saying that it doesn't recognise the device or device not detected. Is there anything i can do to make my car recognise the phone?
Thank you
First of all, there is a difference between mirrorlink and Android Auto. Mirrorlink is a technology that mirrors your phone screen on your car and works with most older car models. Android Auto was developed by Google and your car needs support for Android Auto to make it work.
Mirrorlink has never worked for me but since I can use Android Auto, I never really bothered to try so I cannot assist you with mirrorlink .
For Android Auto I can only suggest you to google everything you can find about it and as far as I have experienced, there are a couple of tricks you can try that solve AA problems in 80% of the cases
1. Use a high-quality USB cable
2. Enable the Media Transfer Protocol on your phone
3. Make sure that your time and date is set correctly on your car.
4. Check if Android Auto works correctly on your phone before connecting it to your car
5. Make sure google play services is installed correctly
6. Check if the bluetooth connection is on
All I can say is good luck since AA is sometimes a real pain in the ass
No android auto works fine but it's getting it to show up on my new car's monitor screen !!! ??????
Hi,
I've connected Creative SoundBlaster SBX Pro Studio 5.1 USB Sound Card via OTG cable to my Note 4 phone, but there is a problem.
There is no sound at all, despite the fact, that I get an headaphones icon on taskbar, and SoundCards LED turns on, when I'm playing music.
Is there a way to make it work?
I'm running latest android available via OTA updates: 7.0 NRD90M
Alright, so the short version is that this app is supposed to be able to see Bluetooth devices, but when running with Android 10, it no longer is able to see Bluetooth devices. The app is old and I'm seriously betting it won't be updated and fixed for Android 10. Any developers interested in checking out just WHY this isn't able to detect Bluetooth devices in Android 10?
Longer explanation: this app is for the E-SYB E4 lithium battery charger. It's supposed to connect to the charger and show your battery voltages and allow you to change the charge speed and battery type and such. It just does NOT want to see Bluetooth devices when run with Android 10, and it's frustrating given that this charger is more expensive BECAUSE of this Bluetooth functionality. Any developers interested in checking out just WHY this isn't able to detect Bluetooth devices in Android 10?
Link to app in question: http://www.e-syb.com/app-download (of course download the Android version.)
Hi just wondering has anyone got a usb camera to work with their j3? I've tried an "endoscope" usb camera and a regular usb webcam with an otg cable but neither work. With any app i've tried the camera is detected when I plug it in but either the app then crashes or just displays a blank screen. This is with stock firmware.

Old thread, but for others nowadays, my answer is that you must make sure the app supports the camera.
For years I've been using this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=infinitegra.app.usbcamera&hl=sv
and it supports at least Logitech C270.
Recently I discovered that the app also supports a cheap videograbber usb stick, meaning I can get my old Olympus OM-D E-M5 connected to a big tablet and see the live screen there.
Haven't tried the app with an endoscope.
The app + C270 have worked on a Galaxy Tab 2 with stock firmware 4.1.2, but also some higher custom ROMs.
And a stock Galaxy Tab A (2016) running Oreo.
and just now I tested it on 2 devices, my stock J4+ with Pie and my stock J5 (2015) Marshmallow.
Edit:
I got curious and dug out an old long silvergray SuperEyes endoscope, only tried it on the J5, but above app supports it.
At the same time I found a small black cylindrical inspection camera with 2 meter cord. Above app supports that too
