Hi,
I have rooted old phone Wildfire S. I used Revolutionary on this phone. Today I tried to refresh system on this phone.
What I did : Root to recovery, wipe cash, wipe data/factory reset, format sdcard, format all, change partition on SDcard, changed SWAP... (now I can clearly see, I was stupid moron... sry, about it)
Now my phone is emtpy. I can see only BOOTLOADER and Recovery menu. I don't know how to load installation package to my phone. How to load Revolutionary installation package to this phone and install it ? I formated SDcard in windows. I can copy files to SDcard and install from zip....
What I need to do, to install system to this phone ?
Thank you for your help.

I am currently using mik_os 6.5(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=946354) and Clockwork Mod recovery. I tried to install 6.5.2 on top of it (wiping cache and dalvik cache) but it gets stuck on the lg logo. After going through the first post, I even formatted /system but that didn't help either.
Finally, I flashed 6.5 and it is working fine. Any pointers would be helpful.
1) mounts and storage/ wipe cache
2) mounts and storage/ wipe system
3) wipe cache partition
4) wipe data or factory reset
5) install zip from sd card
And blowww!! You have 6.5.2 flashed ;-)

Boot into clockwork recovery.
go to backup and restore -create a backup of your current rom (Note:If already backup has been done then avoid this step, backup created using amonra or thunderg wont support restoring using clockwork)
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
mount and storage-format system
mount and storage-mount usb storage (make sure usb debugging is enabled)
copy the rom zip file to the root of your sd card
unmount
install zip from sd card-choose the rom zip and install
flashing takes 3-5 min
reboot!
just remeber to backup all ur app using titanium and restore after a fresh install and whnever u update no need to wipe anything just flash over the old version until unless mention by the dev
I didn't want to do a factory reset, however; I still went for it after doing a nandroid backup.
I followed all the steps mentioned by sshbz, but it still got stuck at the boot logo (the one with website address written).
Finally, thanks to the Nandroid backup, I reverted back to 6.5 without having to go through titanium restore.
For 6.5.2, the rom link is given in post 1 and mik_os had also posted a fix for clockword mod users.
I have tried the below
1. Install only the rom
2. Install rom and then the fix
Neither worked. I think I would have to wait for the next update now unless someone can make this work for me.
Today I rooted my Huawei U8800, I installed Clockworkmod, made a backup, and tried installing a Honeycomb ROM, I put the zip file in my SD card, and booted in recovery mode.
I did the following things: wipe data/factory reset; wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, and tried installing the rom from my SD card, however clockworkmod didn't see the .zip file in my SD card, so I rebooted my phone and it didn't start. Then I chose recovery (from my backup) in Clockworkmod, still didn't work.
I can see the booting screen (it says IDEOS), it stays there for a while and then it just goes black and boots itself again.
Is there any way to fix this issue?
hi. actully i decided to install new rom so i reboot in recovery and delete data, cache and dalvik then i decided to format system but by mistake i format sd-card. no i cant reboot and cant install anything as all files are deleted.. any help please.....thanks
Ooh, that stinks. You'll have to plug into the computer and choose to mount the sd (from recovery) and then copy a Rom to your card then flash it.
Hey everyone last night I rooted my phone and this morning I attempted flashing a ROM called ViperOneS that you can look at here -->http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2105863. So in order to install it the OP wrote in the instructions to factory restore the phone which I did. When I cleared the cache and everything and went to install it TWRP said it failed so I just erased it. Then when I went to reboot it was stuck on the screen with the red writing so I rebooted it in Recovery and it said there was no OS installed. I looked for this problem online and found that if I mounted the phone to my computer I could copy and paste a new ROM for my phone which I eventually tried to do but for some reason it does not allow me to check off either of the boxes next to "Mount SD Card" or "Mount Internal." It does let me mark all the other boxes. Could somebody explain what I should do so the computer recognizes the phone as a "Removable Disk" like it used to so I can just drag and drop a new OS into my phone and put this thing behind me already? If you can't tell already I'm a newby at this stuff so if you can make simple steps that'd be great. Thanks in advance.
try this:
1-flash recovery again (fastboot flash recovery recovery) or change to CWM
2-erase dalvik cache and cache
3-connect as mass storage via recovery

remember always have a backup of your system specially when is your first rom
I've tried to install official firmware with sdcard/dload/UPDATE.APP method, but it shows software install failed,
Inside the firmware zip file I got a installation guide and there they said if installation failed you should firstly upgrade a transfer package first provided by R&D.
But what is this transfer package and where I can get it??
See screenshot below,
Rom needs to be on internal storage first, can't install from sdcard. If you can put it in /data folder with twrp(custom recovery). Your bootloader is unlocked?
I don't know the method you're using(never heard of it, and wouldn't trust it), but download the rom, transfer it to phone(USB). If you have a file manager, and root, move it to internal storage, in the /data folder. If not, but you have twrp installed as the recovery, use that file manager. Wipe dalvik, and cache, then install.
