What do you mean by locked? You have locked bootloader, or you triggered FRP Lock?

BL unlock isn't something that happens on it's own without you trying to unlock BL,,
BTW, If in the Service Menu it's mentioned 'Bootloader unlock allowed - Yes', this means that your Bootloader is Locked
'Bootloader Unlocked - Yes'. This means it's unlocked..

No, there is no way to flash JB on locked BL.
You can unlock the bootloader using Sony official tool/website for unlocking bl

Before unlocking you can backup your TA partition, in case you wanted to give the phone to warranty. Later you can restore it - phone will be locked again and they will not know it was unlocked.

I dont think you should feel sad because of that. My bl can be unlocked, but after using custom kernel for 2days my phone became unusuable dur to extreme lags. That's why i stay with stock ROMS. They are good enough .

I need to have root. If I use this guide (http://unlock-bootloader.net/how-to/unlock-bootloader-sony-xperia-z5-compact/ ) it will unlock bootloader? Also, there is NO in service menu but I have code from sony to unlock from their website/email. Help?

If it is Unlockable:No, then the bootloader cannot be unlocked. You are unlucky mate. However if you still try to unlock bootloader, I dunno what will happen. You will most likely end up with a bricked device

Vodafone might have their phones' bootloaders locked yes. But I doubt that unlocking the simlock would help. Those are two different things. But yes, some carriers lock the bootloaders of the phones
