trouble Andoid 6 Anti-Theft „device protection“ - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear xda community,
BIG ISSUE:
I've resetted my Xperia E5 (should be regardless) running Android 6 (IMPORTANT!)
We talk about Anti-Theft „device protection“ since Android 5....
After reset, when moment came to log into „original google-account“ , Google on E5 says: „please fill in ORIGINAL-Google-ACCOUNT“....but that's what I do! I'm in a loop, can't skip this part!
There is NO password mistake and on a computer I can log into my google-acccount, also seeing in preferences, that I was connected with my Xperia E5!
Same responds of Google on E5: „please fill in ORIGINAL-Google-ACCOUNT“, when I try my 2nd google-acccount.....which is correct of course....and I don't have any furthure google-acccounts!
I already told Google about this problem and they DENY any BUG with Google-Acccount and Android 6 !
It can't be problem of Sony, because I saw in forum https://productforums.google.com/for...google-mail-de
people with exactelly the same problem with different devices!
Google only says: „Send your Xperia E5 back to shop and you'll have to pay for reparation!“
And Sony too!
To be short:
WORKS (like in youtube-clip for bypassing google account: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-y_O_OqbUw ): Sms (receive, send), dial telephone number for call, see all general preferences, see app-list (also deactivate etc.)
DOESN't WORK: insert my owner google-account (then again in loop) , download apps, calculator, browser (not on default phone) and telephone book (NOT proposed in „share“ function like in youtube-clip!)
Can you help me, also explaining, why/what the problem is??
Thanks alot!!
PS: I have seen this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gene...ocked-t3152721 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/gene...-anti-t3189615
but it doesn't help me

[Q] Need help logging into Google account - Xperia X10 mini (2.1)

Hi everyone..
i recently purchased an X10 mini. I was successful in logging into my gmail account and import contacts and stuff. But one day (after like a month as I don't regulary use the internet stuff), when I wanted to connect to the google account, it just won't connect, all it'd say is
"Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or your phone might not be provisioned for data services"...
Note that Opera mini and the default web browser, work perfectly fine (connects, downloads n all fine...)
Then two days later, The 2.1 update came... So i updated my phone...
And now it won't connect again, giving the same error...
I did some searching and did the following things but no results...
1. Tried "myusername" and "myusername" with the gmail [dot] com suffix
2. Tried logging in from the Youtube app (using both userids above)
3. Cleared data of "Google apps" and retried...
4. Tried connecting using both Vodafone Gprs and my PC's wi-fi (using connectify)
5. Tried keeping a day's gap between to sign-in attempts.
Nothing worked
Please help me.
PS. My phone is/was not rooted ever.
My phone used to connect to Google.
Facebook App, Twitter, Opera Mini, Default Browser connect to the net without problems.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I'm soo sorry for posting in thw wrong place. Its my first thread... So very sorry..
I have the same problem with my X10 mini pro 2.1. I once had two Google accounts. Since the 2nd account did not show the calendar, I tried to remove it and reinstall it to get the calendar. And I get the same message "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server...."
I have read on forums that I could connect to Youtube but it is not installed and cannot find it within the market ...
Maybe posting in the correct forum will help..

no need for big letters mate
maybe do a full wipe and try opening another account from the market that may work.
I assume you have a gmail address and have used it on the device to log in?
When you log into your Android Market account via your PC, using this gmail address, what do you see in My Market Account/Settings?
You should see a list of devices there under My Devices and a list including headers like
NICKNAME VISIBILITY MAKER MODEL CARRIER LAST USED, etc.
Sorry for using big letters. My intention was to get a quick attention.
Yes I used my gmail account thru my Device many times.
But under My devices, it shows "There are no Android devices associated with this account."
whether I should use some special application to associate my device.?
What version of Android Market do you have on your phone?
What ROM? Carrier?
Have you tried signing out, recovering your password and signing back in?

I suggest you simply do a factory restore, that will wipe most stuff on your phone but I guess it doesn't matter since it is a new phone.
Then make sure you enter correct gmail-account when requested after the factory restore (probably what got wrong the first time).
(settings->privacy->factory data reset)
I tried signing out, recovering your password and signing back in method before but it doesn't work.
Regarding ROM and carrier , I have no idea how to identify those things from my device.
Please advice me how to get those information.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

[Q] Whatsapp stuck (again) on Initializing

Hello.
Due to some problems in my Smartphone (Android 4.0.3), I had to uninstall Whatsapp Messenger and reinstall it.
It was working perfectly before I uninstalled it.
But now, there is no way to have it working again. I should say I already have an active account till April 2014. So, I installed it both downloading from the Play Store and downloading from Whatsapp website. The result is the same:
1.- Once re-installed and being sure I have both phone line and wifi network, I start whatsapp.
2.- I accept the terms.
3.- Whatsapp ask me for my phone number. I introduce the same I always have: +34 abc de fx yz and OK
4.- Whatsapp discover the old databases and ask me if I want to recover messages from them. I answer yes, whatsapp tell me that 3.189 msgs are recovered.
5.- Whatsapp ask me for the profile details, photo and name. And the strange things start here:
5a.- It seems not having recognized my phone number, as it ask for my profile, that I feel it had to be known
5b.- In the name field, there is a number too similar to the one I introduced in 3.-, but NOT the same, no country code and the last 2 digits are zeroes: abcdefx00
5c.- By this time, no message, no phone call is received
5d.- No question about verify code is received.
6.- Anyway, I put my name in the profile name field and press NEXT
7.- Whatsapp goes to “Initializing, wait a moment ….” And nothing more…. It stay stuck there…. Non ending. Hours later, the only way to resume my phone is restarting the phone.
I already tried all the suggestions of the different forums: go without recover messages, download 2.8 and then reinstall with the most recent versión, download from market and then reinstall with the most recent from whatsapp website, erase the old databases.... Same result.
I found that last year there were similar problems that seemed to be due to whatsapp servers problems, and week ago also the verification server had also troubles... Could again be this the problem?
I am planning to do a "Factory reset" of my pone (HTC Sensation), but I would like to explore any solution before that one.
Any help, please?
Thanks and kind regards

[Q] Acces to google account is not available

Hello every one.At first I have to be sorry of my english,i'm in intermediate level.
Well I have a big problem with my phone,Xperia P. I Cant acces to my google account on it.In each problem that google has developed there's no access for me(gmail, google play,....it asks for google account on each one of them and there is no access for me on google account). When i get to settings to add my google account from the accounts part, i will have these problems:after choosing the exicting ,it asks me to enter a gmail id and after i enter my information,it says that your connection is not ok and you must change it.I have changed my wifi connection a lot, even with 4-5 different isp,and that's like this with the data too.
And when I choose the new button,it asks me to enter a name and after that an id.at the next,it says that your id is not exists and you must chang it.i have entered many different ids but i have this problem with all of them.
I dont prefer to factory reset,so if there is some another way please tell me.
my stock rom(4.1.2)is already rooted and my kernel is 3.0.8 and my phone is xperia p.
thanks for your help and excuse me again for my english.
The only way better is to Reset, before that open apps-All apps- select credential manager - - clear data like vice do for some other system apps , related to google, have reboot and try , if not factory reset
Flash a custom romkeep looking for something new:good:
If you already root your phone then check your host file in /system/etc/host. Delete every line in it if exist.

Facebook Messenger gives me old UI despite having latest update PLEASE HELP !

First of all, sorry If Ive chosen the wrong subforum for this question, dont know where else to put it.
Figured that you guys might have enough knowledge to help me, altho I think I cant do anything because I tried E V E R Y T H I N G.
So basically my Messenger looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/rqPRy which is like a 1 year old version. And yes I have the latest update and I just cant get the new UI and functions working. It looks like its server-related but why would Facebook not push the button on my account ?
Things I tried so far:
- Reinstalling the app
- Restarting the phone
- Factory reset
- Download the .apk of the latest version and install it manually
- Entered the Messenger beta
- Install it from US VPN
- Clearing all caches and cookies from all devices and log in again
- Log in to different mobile device (for example my friend has new UI on his old S4 and when I logged in with my account, it showed the old one - wtf)
- When I created a new fake facebook account and switched account on my Messenger (it showed new UI) when I switched back to my account, its the old UI again
- I contacted facebook about this, no response. Just some generic automatic response "Thank your for this report we make sure to check bla bla bla"
my phone is Nokia 8 running Android Oreo 8.0 (before 7.1.1 same problem)
Any ideas? I think only Facebook itself can sort this out but its impossible to reach them and have my attention.
