I have a old computer with this specs:
Processor: Intel core 2 duo E4500
Ram: 6GB DDR2 800
Gpu: GTS 8800
Mobo: Asus P5N-E SLI
Error message:
intel_powerclamp: Intel powerclamp does not run on family 6 model 15
intel_rapl: driver does not support CPU family 6 model 15
:/
I have the same CPU and installed Remix OS on a old Acer Extensa Notebook. Even if i get that error message at boot it's working fine. Only issue is since Android 6.0 came it will freeze and force me to reboot if i suspend\sleep the Notebook, it's annoying but it's still functional.

Thanks for the answer. What should I do then? I need to wait and someday this message will disappear?
I think we all are gettings this message, when booting , i am not paying attention to it any more. Maybe in some future update it wiil go away by its own

I tried several Laptops, getting this message about powerclamp and stepping, and rebooting afterwards. Should an installation otherwise run fine on Core2Duo laptops? What about Centrino (Pentium M) ? too old, aren't those? Same Harddisk put into an IntelCore boots fine. Thanks
I am getting the same (or similar, I don't really remember) message on an i3 540, so this is not limited to your processor.

hey all
is it possible to install windows 7 onto a viewsonic g tablet
i have a windows 7 bootable key just unsure how to get the device to boot from it
if this is not possible and linux based os's able to be installed.
thanks
ARM based processors (which the tegra 2 is) are not supported yet (Win7).
You'll have to wait for Windows 8 for that...then we'll have to see!!
I think Viewsonic's dual boot Windows7/Android tab uses an Intel Atom processor.
so is it possible to boot from a usb key though?
Sure its possible. But I highly doubt you or anyone here is going to undertake the task of modifying windows in order to work properly the ARM processor on the Gtab

At this point no.
Win7 code is not ARM compatible. Intel & ARM based processors use different code. That's why the Viewsonic dual boot tab uses an Intel Atom instead of a Tegra.
Even when Win8 is out, somone would have to develop the dual boot capable bootloader to select between the 2 OS's.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for this to happen in the near future (if ever)!!!! By the time this is even a possibility most will have moved on to the latest/greatest device out. Can't wait for the quad-core Tegra devices which probably would be much more capable of running Win8 than the current Tegra2s.
I think that "we have a dream!!" VS is pushing away the new customers from gtablet, so after a few weeks the most developers will support someone other tablet. AND there are a lot of them!!
Windows 7 is a no go, but I was able to install WinCe on a cheapy Chinese Android tablet I previously had, not to sure if that can be done on the G-Tab.
my phone namely take km s200 fell on ground by wife, then it was powered-on but later it got off,
now i think its bricked not powering on. when i try to attach it by date cable to my win7 it installs drivers showing error 'qhsusb_dload no driver found' error.
(the phone specs are: Processor- 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 processor, Adreno 220 Graphics.)
any guide? suggestion? method? way? best regards.
Greetings,
Is anyone familiar with new brand tablet Tesla H7
OS: Android 4.2
Processor: Intel Atom Z2580 (2.0 GHz)
I have one such device, and after seven days of use is stuck on Intel logo when i Power On device
I contacted the manufacturer about some info but he refuses to direct me to a solution.
From my research I found another almost similar devices by shape and hardware spec.
Banghó Aero
TECLAST P79HD
I found and upgrade Telcast firmware pass without problem (using Phone Flash Tool).
After Android successfully boot i see in MyComputer mounted storage while device connected over USB so i concluded upgrade proccess is OK BUT screen on device is black and do not hear a sound when i turn up sound on max with hardware button
ADB shell from console is available.
any proposal?
Thanx
Hi guys,
After having resurrected from brick 2 OnePlus One and an LG G2 i'm struggling for the first time with a MTK of a friend, it is a 1:1 clone of Galaxy Note 3 MT6589, the producer would seem to be HDC and rom correct JSS15J.N900UBUBMJ2.
After flashing a rom if we turn on the device the screen lights up but remains black and a blue LED flashes for a few minutes, if the connect to the charger appears the battery image that slowly recharges as if I connect it to the PC after installing MTK VCOM drivers is seen as "Storage Device mass " on Windows XP and Windows 10
It's bricked? what can I do? any suggestions?
These should be the characteristics of the device
MTK6589 Quad Core 1.5GHz Cortex A9 + SGX544 GPU
1G Ram + 8G ROM
5.7 inch Touch Screen Resolution 1280 * 720
Single SIM Cards

Doesnt work because of AMD GPU, probably even an AMD CPU? AMD it not supported by Android-x86 which is the base system os RemixOS.
Try again with Intel. Should work.
