Never disconnect phone if you are flashing or updating via LG Official updater, KDZ updater or LGDMP!!
Options
a friend say that i can revival phone with re-programing of the bootloader.
Is really?
Thanks.
Yes, But you need: software, hardware interface and some soldering skills. If phone doesnt boot in emergency mode this cannot be done via usb cable.

I have had the same thing by the same procedure to unlock bootloader and flash cwm ... :crying: :crying: :crying: help us
Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36688645&postcount=808
PS.: If you can't get your phone in emergency mode (step 5) you can put in download mode instead. To get it in download mode press and hold volume down and up while you connect your usb cable to your pc
the phone does not go into any recovery mode (emergency) indeed, the PC recognizes it as USB\VID_05C6&PID_9008&REV_0000
Yet another brick. There should be a counter for this.
How do I reset the counter?
the samsung is reset with a simple jig... and lg phones?
same problem

same problem ... on l7 ( does anyone unbrick his phone?
Flash the stock firmware
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda premium
No solution to this problem
I've tried everything.
The phone simply doesn't connect.
USB\VID_05C6&PID_9008&REV_0000
This is what I get when I connect the phone by USB.
I just cant get into emergency, DIAG or emergency CS
KDZ the phone connects and then I get a message afterwards PHONE NOT FOUND.
everytime I install the drivers by LG support tool, it keeps giving me the option to install the driver, like I havent done it a hundred times over.
I think there should be a driver somewhere that can be installed but the only people that have this driver are LG tech's. So they can bill you after
send the phone in cause you rooted it. So the one billion dollar question is witch hero will find a way to unbrick this device. We only need a way
to get a driver to install and we are home free. Or maybe the only other option is throwing the phone for sale on internet for spare parts:cyclops:
HELP PLEASE HELP find a way to unbrick this phone. Believe me I flashed and bricked alot of different phones and there was a way out but in
with this phone it seems impossible!!

And there is no mode to put it in in because te volume buttons don't do crap, the home button also, the only time that the phone does show up is when windows tells me it has an unknown device that I for the love of god can't find a driver for. I tried SDK, the LG drivers, but no dice:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

I was going through the process of returning my unrooted LG G3 vs985 (verizon) back to stock 10b. At 94% during the factory reset process on the lg flash tool it stopped and said my device had been disconnected. The phone was still plugged into the computer but the drivers were no longer recognizing it. Now, whenever I boot up the device it goes to the LG logo, then says mini os, and then shows a blue screen that says factory reset status with a big 2 below it. It seems like other people have had this issue before but they have been able to use the LG drivers while I cannot. Without anything recognizing my phone I cannot try flashing the stock firmware again. All my computer says is unrecognized usb device. Is there anyway to use fastboot or a general driver to install the correct software? I am pretty new to these kind of things so any help is appreciate.

Hi, and welcome to XDA!
Please wait while I connect you to the device experts at the G3 Verizon forum:
> Verizon LG G3 > Verizon G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
My guess is that the USB cable decided to fail at the 94% mark (and I suggest trying a different one), but your fellow G3 owners will have some better ideas.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

What is the error LGUP is giving you, please post a screenshot of the error you are receiving inside LGUP, also try a different KDZ file to see if that's the problem.
Look here for KDZ files :
lg-firmwares.com/lg-us992-firmwares/
it's possible your misc partition is "corrupted".. see the post here where I helped someone get out of something similar: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70446385&postcount=70
but that user could still boot into android to do those steps.. if you can't you may be stuck. if stuck your only option is to play around with different LGUP versions and DLL/UPPERCUT combos.. or hax.
Doesn't really say much I'm Windows7 please please don't tell me that is my issue lol i hate Windows7 man.... And uninstalling lg bridge solved all of my connection problems what ever that means...... Kdz flasher error....
Got it... Lg Bridge sucks but i got it to pick up my device finally
It's been hardbricked for almost a month now. I've looked everywhere on how to unbrick this specific model on XDA but didn't find anything.
I know it's been done for models like the V10, G3, etc.. so I thought there might be some hope from bringing my phone back to life.
I goofed up accidentally installing the wrong ROM for the phone. It had TWRP and all but the phone won't turn on at all.
Does anybody have system dump files for the RS988?

Hello!
When you say that the phone won't turn on at all, do you mean that the LG logo does not appear when you attempt to turn it on? In any case, your phone seems to be recognized by your computer, so download LGUP (with UPPERCUT) and see if they can communicate. You can flash the stock firmware using the .kdz files linked by @autoprime in his All-in-One G5 thread. I believe the firmware made for the RS988 Brightpoint (BPT) variant doesn't have anti-rollback protection, so you'll have the most luck flashing it. Make sure, though, if you go that route, to flash the non-carrier firmware afterwards.

The Logo doesn't appear, after being plugged in to my PC, it just gets a little warm.
As for the LGUP with uppercut, I ran the program and it gives me a message of it saying "no handset connected". It is currently on COM3 in device manager named "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008".

Interesting. This reminds me of APX mode from the NVIDIA Tegra devices.
I think there's a Qualcomm-developed firmware flashing tool that can detect the device via the COM3 port. I cannot recall the name, but if you find it, you should give it a try.
I also have same issue flashed wrong Rom showing qualcomm 9008,complete black screen not even showing charging also,no recovery mode no download mode.is there any solution for it.

I don't know if they exist. You need qfil and whatever firmware parts and edl recovery files. Your fire hose programmer for your chipset.
I've read some guys claim sd card method. But I've never done it on this device
Where you ever able to unbrick the phone?
I am currently experiencing the same issue, the best method that would seem to work so far is through QFIL but I can't find the firehose file.
same problem, any help?
