Hello, im new in root and all that stuff.
I have my Moto g 3gen phh supersu Rooted, xposed framework instaled, and magisk instaled.
My phone have android 5.1.1 and it shows me the message to update to android 6.0
Can i update to android 6.0 with my phone rooted, xposed framework instaled, and magisk instaled?
Or do i need to unroot my phone and uninstall those programs to update to 6.0?
Will i lost any info when i update android?
Thanks!
I'm pretty sure you will lose your root if you update your phone legitimately, but if you simply place the android 6.0 firmware on the root of your sd card and boot into the devices the bootloader and hence updating the phone that way, you should still have your root and other software installed.

So currently I have a SGP611 with Android 5.0.2. It's rooted via KingRoot and switched to SuperSU with the help of XZDualRecovery. So, that means I have 5.0.2 with SuperSU and XZDualRecovery.
The bootloader is intact and locked.
How do I upgrade to 5.1.1 and get root again since KingRoot won't work with 5.1.1?
And it would be nice if during the update process no data wiping is necessary.

Hello developers, I am facing a problem to root my android mobile j7 nxt (j701f). This mobile's default android version was 7.1. I rooted this phone and used perfectly. Recently I downloaded this mobile's android version 8.1 firmware and installed it with odin. After updating my root access removed. Then I tried in many ways to root the android version 8.1 of this mobile but can't. If I install the TWRP recovery then the phone doesn't reboot. stuck on reboot logo.(May be soft brick). Then I started to find the cf_auto root file to root. But there is no cf_auto root file for this mobile's android version 8.1. The cf_auto root file for android 7.1 will not work surely. Last I tried to downgrade the android version from 8.1 to 7.1. But it fails. I am not understanding what to do now. I need the root access so much. Please help me.
Hello,
I just want to ask if is it safe to install busybox on my rooted realme 3 pro using the original OS, I already unlock the bootloader, install twrp and flash magisk just like the tutorial in this forum, I just wanted to install viper4fx but it said it requires BusyBox and install some files from viper4fx, but I'm really scared because I don't want my phone to get bootloop or bricked, I'm using BusyBox and Viper4fx on my old phone models that has 4.4 Android version but I don't know what will be the effect of installing this app in 6.0 and up version when it's rooted
