Help needed with restoring my nexus 9 - Nexus 9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So through a moment of stupidity i screwed up my nexus quite badly
the situation right now is:
tablet stuck in recovery, rom wiped, I'm unable to mount USB storage
tried to reroot the tablet as if it was semi-bricked, but NRT cannot recognise it, the PC in general doesn't see it, tried fixing the drivers, but they do not appear in device manager after reinstalling.
Any ideas, what i can do?

Soft Bricked Tab with CWM 5.5.04

Hi all,
Need your advice on a semi-bricked tab.
I tried flashing CM10 on it with CWM 5.5.04 and it is stucked at the loading screen.
I am able to enter CWM now and also the download mode.
However, there isn't any firmware in the tablet and I have no idea on how to mount my external SD card using CWM.
I've tried ODIN but the PC is unable to detect the tablet in download mode.
Please advice...
(PS. it belongs to a pal. So kindly advice as I would love to return the tablet to him in working condition)
You prob already tried this but change the usb port try one round the back of pc . Also try installing odin with Samsung drivers etc .

Hi gordonx10i, sadly that didn't work.
Managed to resovle the issue by doing a couple of factory reset and worked well.
However, on both of my PC (XP and Win7), they now have a 'USB Device Not Recognized' message everytime I plug the tablet in.
Tried:
1. uninstall + reinstall Kies
2. uninstall and reinstall samsung driver
But to no avail. Unless I can resolve this, else odin will not work..

[Q] 'No os installed' error on my HTC One

So I accidentally deleted everything on my phone (including all the backups on TWRP) because I'm a dumbass. It says I have 'no os installed', so I'm currently trying to adb push a Rom or Stock RUU into my phone, but I can't because my pc isn't reading the HTC Drivers.
When I turn on my phone, I'm stuck in the HTC boot logo. I can still access the bootloader/recovery, though. So basically, I'm stuck and I don't know what else to do to save my phone :/
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. :good:
Get the driver situation sorted out then push a rom back to your phone. Failing that, get an otg cable and flash drive and install a rom from that.

[Q] How do I recover with no os?

I've been trying to figure this out for a few hours now. Accidentally wiped the internal storage on my phone. Now it just stuck on the HTC boot screen. My bootloader is still unlocked and I do have access to TWRP. However my main problem lies in the fact that no matter what I try my phone will not connect with usb, When it does my computer doesn't recognize it. I've tried reinstalling drivers, restarting my computer and switching usb ports. Any help in solving this would be appreciated.

You need to do a sideload...
under twrp go to advance and adb sideload.
You could look over the forum about it.

Thanks for your help! After a little more research used the method you suggested and it worked flawlessly. Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.

[Q] Unable to connect to USB after wipe

Ok, so this was my first attempt at trying to root and flash a device, and somewhere along the way, I screwed up. I installed TWRP on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi only tablet (GT-P7510 32GB) via Odin, and rooted the device with the SuperUser and everything was gravy. Then, I tried to flash CM onto the device, and something went wrong. Bad install file or something along those lines.
OK, I'll just wipe it off and try again, went into TWRP "Wipe", and did all of the wipes. Which is where I went wrong. I did ALL of the wipes. So now the only thing still on the tablet is TWRP. Luckily I can still boot into that, but that's it.
So, this is where the real problem comes in. I need to be able to load the ZIP onto the device root so I can use TWRP to install it, but for the life of me I cannot get my Windows 7 Laptop to recognize the device. I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled the Samsung drivers at least 4 times, being extra patient to reset both the computer and tablet after each attempt, i've tried turning the computer on with it already plugged in, i've tried waiting to plug it in until after the computer is fully booted, everything.
The USB port on the computer recognizes other USB flash drives just fine, i'm using the OEM cable, and everything worked fine to connect the tablet with Odin before I did that wipe, so we can rule out the cable being bad.
I've been reading a lot of forum posts both on XDA and elsewhere and I've seen people talking about needing to uncheck the USB debugging in Settings, but obviously I can't get there, because there's no OS. This must have been unchecked before the wipe though, because it connected fine then.
Help
Interesting addendum.
I actually CAN access the device with Odin. It will allow me to reflash the TWRP .tar file onto the device. Not sure if that's helpful at all though.
Figured it out, questions answered
