IT WORKS!!! Thank you bro

Unable to flash any twrp or rom in KATE
My redmi note 3 KATE unlock story so far:
- Tried to unlock the official way -> no success
- Tried to unlock the unofficial way (KATE fastboot) -> success
- Figured out that there were new section in oem info which told "critical unlock" was false
- Unlocked the critical unlock to true
- Flashed *alka twrp -> got errors when trying the advanced wipe as pumpino's guide suggested
- Tried to flash many different twrps but no success to boot them -> only fastboot mode worked
- Tried to flash the latest KATE fastboot with mi flash tool -> error: product name mismatch (or something like that)
- Tried to flash the latest KENZO fastboot with mi flash tool -> success but sim card failure (imei lost?)
- Unlocked the unofficial way and flashed coffice twrp -> no success, only fastboot mode working
- Removed the getvar name check from KATE fastboot and flashed it -> error while flashing the system img
- Flashed KENZO fastboot without the name check
Now I can boot to adb mode with vol- & power, and to fastboot mode with vol+ & power. Normal boot starts the phone but ends into chinese screen where is only one button to press and then it boots again to the same chinese screen.
Any suggestions?

Answer to myself:
As long as you can boot to fastboot, you are pretty much safe. You can boot to edl-mode and flash the (kate) fastboot rom using the mi flash tool.

Redmi note 3 snapdragon bricked

Hello,
i have redmi note 3 snapdragon variant. i had installed cyanogen mod 13 kenzo in my phone. for some reason i wnanted to get back to the stock version. so i flashed stock rom from twrp which resulted in boot loop.
i tried flashing rom again from mi flash in edl mode. but it still wont boot. mi logo comes and then power off. what can i do? please help.
I did the same thing I flashed MIUI from TWRP when using cyanogen mod ROM. But when I clicked on reboot to system after flashing the ROM which showed "done" it warned saying there is no OS to boot to and stayed at Mi logo. Thankfully I backed up the previous ROM before starting the procedure so, I went to recovery(TWRP) vol up+ pwr and had reset the phone and flashed that backed up file. It worked. So, my advise is try to go in to recovery re-flash any backed up file or any custom ROM.
check ur bl status bro
It's happened with me many times ...there is a no big issue I guess , just check if ur bl status is unlock or not ..I guess ur bootloader must be locked that's why this is happening to check just put ur phn is fastboot mode connect usb cable n type in adb n fastboot command
Fastboot devices
Then
Fastboot device oem-info
. If locked unlock it using mi unlock tool

Have you tried: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...development/hwota-huawei-mate10-lite-t3777115
Or https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279
I would try HWOTA first.

Error, find device manager currpted, your device is unsafe now. Miui 11?

Hi, I moved from custom ROM, pixel experience andriod 10 to miui 11 official.tgz using miflash tool.
When I first boot, I saw. Device manager is currpted, your device is unsafe now. I saw WiFi, rotation sensor not working too.
After a couple of re flashing again. Same problem. No WiFi .
Than I tried again to flash with an option miflash tool , "clean all and lock". This too didn't worked. And my bootloader locked.
Same problems ...
WiFi not working , will tap icon ,but won't connect or find networks
sensor is not working
Saw again at first boot, Find device manager is currpted , you device is unsafe now ,
Now, my bootloader is locked. Tried with old account that have used multiple times . I didn't work.
Signed for new one , through Facebook. When I try to unlock in DEVELOPER OPTION ,
Nothing happen, pop says preparing to add new account.
I tried to mi unlocktool, it says add account device first
I have locked boot now

Hi!
Something very similar happened to me a few days ago. After unsuccessfully trying to install Havoc 3.0 rom (Android 10) on my device, I decided to come back to Miui 11. Then I found this weird message, but instead of "device manager" I think in my case it said "...storage is corrupted...". I was lucky not to lock the bootloader. The solution was flashing via fastboot an old Miui rom, a Marshmallow one. Thay solved the problem. Keep on trying to unlock the bootloader. Good luck!
I had same problem and found an easy solution! Your presist partition is corrupt...do the following:
1. fastboot flash latest MIUI 11 firmware with miflash
-you will see the error message...ignore it for now
-if you are on latest MIUI 11 then ignore step 1
2. turn OFF the phone and boot into fastboot mode (volume down + power)
3. Connect phone to pc
4. download atached archive and unpack to a folder on your pc
-in folder you will see a file named "RedMi Note 4 & 4X EDL Mode"...with phone in fastboot mode and connected run that file...screen on phone will turn off and red light will blink
-now you are in "edl" mode
5. Open miflash tool and select folder that you unpacked from my archive...select flash all and flash your phone
6. After few seconds miflash will show flash done...you are good to go
Phone will turn off...disconnect it and press power button for about 8-10 seconds and phone will boot...done...no more error :good::fingers-crossed:
Hope this helped

Will it work for locked bootloader?

HOW to Flash Redmi 6A to Factory ROM with bricked & locked bootloader condition?

Good Evening,
I have an Android Phone REDMI 6A from the licensed distributor in Indonesia.
The warranty for my phone already expired and I'm tried to Root my REDMI 6A.
I'm searching for the step to Root and here what I get:
1. I need to click 7 times in about to open developer option
2. Allow the USB Debugging
3. Do the unlock bootloader with Mi Unlock (I'm already success and when I'm reboot in below screen there is a text "unlocked"). But it's weird when I see another thread that say for the unlock we need permission from Xiaomi that needs xx days to unlocked legally. But in my case I don't need to wait for xx days.
4. The next step for root is I need to flash with Mi Flash Tools and here is the nightmare when I'm follow the steps and in the steps stated not tell to choose "clean all". In my case the choose for Mi Flash is default in "Clean and Lock" that you can see in the right down below from Mi Flash Tools App.
5. That's it. Flash is done with the option "Clean and Lock" the phone is reboot and Ohh my Goshhh..... the Phone is not working and screen display to Mi Recovery with error "MIUI Versions can't be installed in this device"
From what I read in many threads the situation I'm in is :
1. Flash wrong ROM that makes my Phones Bricked and the protection from Xiaomi is on
2. The bootloader that Unlocked now is Locked and that makes the USB Debugging off too
I'm already do this:
1. Used the SP Flash Tools v 5.1924 with information for SP Flash tool:
a. Download Agent : MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin or MTK_AllInOne_DA_4-19_-signed.bin
b. Scatter Loading files : MT6765_Android_scatter.txt from many ROM Fastboot (Global, China and Rusia)
c. auth_sv5.auth
2. Test in SP Flash Tools "Download" and click the download and then I'm hold volume + in my phone (the battery is disconnected) and then connect the phone use USB cable.
When I'm see the device manager Mediatek USB Port is appear but in SP Flash get error BROM error status_brom_cmd_send_da_fail (0xC0060005)
3. Test the "Format" option in SP Flash Tools with option "Manual Format Flash" and change the data needs from the scatter.txt:
a. Begin Address : 0x5588000
b. Format Length : 0x100000
3. Used Minimal ADB and Fastboot and use command:
a. ADB devices : not work --> I think it's because the usb debugging off. Before when I'm try this when my phone still on this command list the
detail of my devices
b. Fastboot devices : It's work when I can go to fastboot screen (it depends on luck when I'm try the SP Flash tools and I will modified it with
Volume - & Power before connect to PC with usb cable)
c. Fastboot oem device-info : not work
d. Fastboot unlock OEM : not work
e. Fastboot reboot : work but still stuck at Mi Recovery
4. Used Mi Phone Assistant (condition in Mi Recovery choose Connect with Mi Phone) and do the flash ROM used Global, China, and Rusia ROM and still not work.
It works for miui_HM6AGlobal_V11.0.7.0.PCBMIXM_755e2b7216_9.0 and in progress to 100 % but after reboot will stuck to Mi Recovery again.
5. Try Mi Unlock but it's not working
6. When I get to Fastboot sceen by luck I try this too:
a. Used Mi Flash 2017.4.25 with option "Clean All" used ROM (Global, China, Rusia) for flash. Click refresh and the devices is appear and when
click Flash (after fill the path ROM) it's error
b. Used ADB to know the status of my devices (locked bootloader, etc) with command fastboot oem device-info but error
I read if the condition is like this, I'm must flash it to original ROM or China Version. But please tell me how I do that?
I'm already searching and download many ROM (fastboot and recovery) but when used in Mi Phone Assistant to flash ROM it's still not working.
Please tell me if there is some way to restore my REDMI 6A to normal condition (no need for root first).
The condition I'm in now:
1. I have a Mi Account
2. Sometimes by luck I can get to Fastboot screen
Kindly appreciate if you can solve this problem.
Looks like you wiped or formatted your entire phone. I've been in this situation before (RIP my Lenovo A7000a). But i have some experience with SP flash tool.
1. Go to options and go to the download section, and enable USB checksum and storage checksum
2. Load the scatter file
3. Give a checkmark on everything from preloader to userdata
4. Format the phone on the format section(optional but recommended)
5. Then click the download button on download section (important: make sure you haven't plugged your phone)
6. Plug your phone to your PC
7. Wait until the flashing process is done
8. After the flashing process is done you're you will prompted with a green checkmark image
9. Done. It should boot and work properly

Hello, If your bootloader is Unlocked, You can go to fastboot & type this command

fastboot flash recovery twrpname.img
Replace twrp name with name of custom recovery.
Now type : fastboot reboot recovery
Now it will boot in twrp , install any custom ROM from there.

[Solved] TWRP Problem Mi 8 Pro EE

Hello guys,
I have a problem with installing and starting TWRP for the Mi 8 Pro Explorer Edition (Codenamed Ursa).
I have the latest version of Miui Global available for my device (MIUI 12.0.1), and I have unlocked the bootloader with the official procedure (successfully).
I followed the guide for MIUI.eu (the same with all devices to tell the truth) to install the latest TWRP available, but when TWRP starts the device remains off. I can get into fastboot or start it normally, but I can't install it despite ADB giving me positive results.I also tried to install older TWRP, but the result is the same, the device does not start the TWRP, remaining off. Anyone have a solution?
Thanks a lot to everyone
Ps. When I unlocked the bootloader I had to enter some registry keys otherwise the annoying bug came out that when connecting the device to the PC it came out of fastboot mode, opening a black page with a white writing at the top left
PPS. I want install MIUI.eu 12.5, So I'm wasting all this time
Does it show any error when you try to run these command?
