Hello
Tried to find out the answer in these forums but can't find it.
I bought an AT&T I717 for the faster processor and lack of a physical home button (prefer the look) but not sure it's compatible with our data networks?
GSMArena gives:
i717
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
4G Network LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100
N7000
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G Network LTE 700 (region specific)
I've got a nasty suspicion that my Three UK network might be using 900 MHz 3G. The only frequency not on the i717.

Can anyone else confirm this is the problem or is it the stock AT&T Radio? Would rooting and installing another Radio & ROM make any difference or should I attempt to sell it and get an N7000?
Any serious help much appreciated.

Played around with the settings from dialling *#2263# and speeds improved.
Still comments on Radios & ROMs welcome.
Hi, I just saw Galaxy S3 LTE international edition.
Can I use Galaxy S3 LTE international edition on Rogers in Canada?
If I use SGS3 LTE international edition, I will use only 3G.

Hi guys,
Im thinking about getting this device. Does anyone know if it comes network free or just on verizon?
Thanks
It is network free. Just make sure the network you're planning to use is supported by the bands available for the phone:
2G Network: CDMA 800 / 1900
GSM: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network: CDMA2000 1xEV-DO
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G Network: LTE 700

------------ Sprint: GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900), WCDMA (700 / AWS), CDMA (800 / 1900), LTE (1900)
Radios---- T-Mo GSM: (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900), WCDMA: (850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100), LTE: (Band 4 / Band 17)
Internal storage AT&T: 32/64GB; Sprint/T-Mo: 32GB
what are they
internally all of the GSM models, except for the Dual Sim Chinese models are the same
The sprint model, due to CDMA and LTE radios on board are different, the partition layout isn't the same as the others

A radio doesn't add bands to your device automatically

Have you guys ever bought a korean phone? Does it work in europe regarding 4g?
Thxx for helping
Sure as long as you are happy with the Bands it supports, which I understand is for the F600 variant (which I can get in Oz for about A$1,100):
2G GSM: 900 / 850 / 1800 / 1900 MHz
3G WCDMA: 2100 / 1900 / 850 MHz (Band: 1 / 2 / 5)
4G LTE: 2100 / 1800 / 850 / 2600 / 900 MHz ( Band: 1 / 3 / 5 / 7 /8)
I'm not keen on this variant due to some missing bands for our region.
