I always prefer non-miui rom as I want pure / non-spy experience.
But almost all CM rom and most AOSP rom has problem with SIM control.
I cannot disable unused SIM when I am travelling and the phone keep drawing maximum power try to search unavailable network.
Could you please name some ROM that support full SIM control at this moment, please?

I think I saw in slim rom an option to disable one Sim card.
Sent from Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

i am having network on the sim i have data on. in the other one i cant find network
If you are using Mediatek variant, unfortunately there is no way to turn off SIM2 on non-Snapdragon SoC.
If you are using Snapdragon, just turn it off on SIM setting.

Hi everyone I hope everything is going great ...
I just want to know why there is a limited custom roms for the Kate version. And is there any thing to do to move apps to SD card ...
And is there any kernels that work good to the Kate variant . I am speaking about the 2 GB RAM device .
Every ROM that works for Kenzo also works for Kate. In some cases you will need to flash Kate firmware before flashing a Kenzo ROM.
Apps cannot be moved to SD card anymore. It was Google's decision. Some apps will allow you to save data on your SD card (like navigation apps, music or video apps).
You have to find out which kernel suits you best. It depends whether you prefer battery life or performance and which features are important for you.
Thanks man

Me also, I've tried 3 custom roms, and none has this function, just crazy. I'm on LG l90 d410
Hi, gaining a little support for this.
Annoying that this feature used to be in earlier roms but is now missing.
Surprised that there is even no tasker module.
Sent from my HTC One_M8 dual sim using XDA Labs
Must have feature, Hope the future update would include this
I'm using Redmi 1S + Lineage 14.1 Nightly.

Question 2- Do i need to install LAZYFLASHER after the CM 14 firmware for Aosp Extended?

Yesterday I installed TWRP without the lazyflasher firmware- my Redmi note 4 stopped booting right after that. Someone named 'SEVENLIFE' helped me to get this fixed. As soon as I installed the LazyFlasher the phone started booting fine.
I just dont want to end up in a no boot or brick situation
lazyflasher is needed only if you use MIUI, no need in AOSP ROM's.

My Airtel 4g sim in sim 1 working well when activated data but when sim 2 Jio activated for mobile data Airtel calls not going, this happened in all Oreo roms but not in miui . Any Oreo roms developer can fix ? I tried pixel experience,DU, cosmic os, Xenon HD.
looks like it's a bug, i would suggest you to to flash any stable RR, Viper or Lineage based on 7.1.1 till then

It should be working if you use the card in the first Sim slot
Hi,
I have flashed Pie Pixel Experience ROM in my note4 (Previously using Oreo Based Pixel Experience from more than last 6 Months), and VoLTE in first sim is not working (its JIO SIM in India).
There are following observations -
1. I am able to use Internet from same SIM from Both SIM Slots.
2. I was able to use VoLTE from Second SIM in Oreo Pixel Experience ROM.
3. Now it is not working in both the slots.
Any pointer for resolution is appreciated.

That fixed the problem. I had to flash the rom again with the sim in 1st slot . Now every thing is working fine
