Hello guys!
I have annoying problem with my PLK-L01. It everytime reboots when is fully charged. I am not sure when it started to happen so I can't say if it started after installing new app or Android update.
Anyone know what to do?

Have you tried a factory reset after backing up all your data?
Charge it to 100% after factory reset, before installing any apps to determine whether its an OS issue or soma app is the culprit...

This is on stock , right?
Try a factory reset
It's not only you!
I have the same annoying problem - only seems to do it once it reaches 100% charge. And I think it only started when I installed the OTA update to B371. Stock too.
At some point I'll do a factory reset to see if that fixes it.

Been noticing same issue a lot on its b371. I wonder if there's an issue with its kernel.

I suggest you to do a factory reset
I neve had this issue, but I always do a factory reset after each update, so maybe that's why.
Those who have this problem, just do a factory reset and check if it solves.

I've had this even after factory reset, after updating to latest software.
Hmm, it's hard to say what is causing the issue
I didn't want to do factory reset, because I must install all my apps again. But I did it and it helped me.
Thank You
It was probably due to an app

on a different note, i had that same issue. it was in regards to the kernel i had flashed. are you using any kernel adjustment apps.? such as cpu master, kernel adiutor or the such?

Just an update on my issue - I never did get round to that factory reset, but the OTA update to B380 arrived today. Since I installed that, it's not restarted while charging (yet!) .

Hey guys, I can't even use my phone after the official update of the Jelly Bean (via Kies). After booting, the phone freeze almost completely and pop-up this message. Any fix without reseting ? I tried cleaning the cache but the problem isn't fixed
If anybody had this issue, can give me an idea about how to fix it ? Thanks
Try clearing its data in app manager
Nop, can't find it. I tried cleaning most of data but nothing works :/ Damn...is Samsung able to do something without bugs ?
that's why no one uses kies
Factory reset or download an Odin version and flash with Odin

Yeah, I like to root, but not to change the rom Now I need to root again. At least the issues has been solved.
Fixing permissions usually solves that problem barring that a full wipe and start again.

As I got the official update, I lost the root, I tried to clear the cache and as I've seen that is not working and the phone was freezing each 5 seconds I got a bit scared to start rooting it. I wiped it, installed my apps and now everything is ok. However, it's weird that I didn't got the apps automatically installed like it's happened last time when Amazon replaced my S3 for some screen issues (some scratches inside the screen). I just added my google account and everything started installing automatically. Not this time...
just downloaded jelly bean tonight and having this issue. has anyone come up with a solution that does not involve a full hardware restart???
Had same problem after I updated 3 months ago. I think was an incompatibility with an app or something has not updated completely. Fixed it with factory reset.
You can backup apps with Samsung Kies I think if you don't want to lose progress in games, the other stuff is automatically synced

I'm afraid it'll probably have to be a full reset just make sure you've backed up.

my s3 have now started to vibrate automatically for no reason.. vibration is set off. I updated recently to 4.2.1
help?
may be some of the apps are force closing.
do a factory reset if not done already...
if this is happening even after factory reset, then just flash back to 4.1.2 and wait for the stable 4.2.1 release

I have done the factory reset before when it was freshly installed.
that's strange,
I am on 4.2.1, and I am not facing any problems.
The only difference is, I did factory reset after flashing 4.2.1

it started when I was using whatsapp . I restarted phone removed the battery too.. it vibrated few times but it have stopped now as I turned off my internet and back on.
good to know that its not happening any more
if it starts to vibrate again, just wipe the data for the app which you were using when it started.

I've seen this issue with some apps such ad whatsapp, it seems like a bug in the notification, it does not say you have a new message (which you do) and just sort of vibrates! You could check your bbs tho.

hi,
i have a stock version of the galaxy s3 locked to vodafone.
it is running android 4.3
baseband i9300buunb1
kernal version 3.0.31-2429075 [email protected] #1 thu jan 23:47:54 kst 2014
build number JSS15J.I9300XXUGNA5
Not sure if any of the above will help.
i have recently been having unfortunately clock has stopped messages, also unfortunately, the process com.android, phone has stopped messages keep showing up on my screen. sometimes it comes up with hancent has stopped too. but that is very infrequently. the frequency of these messages are making my phone nearly unusable.
i have tried force closing the clock in the running apps and cleared data as some sites have explained.
i have searched for an answer to this problem to no avail.
i hope someone on here can help me find out how i can rid of these messages (or problem), without having to do a factory reset.
thanks in advance
You will have to factory reset, possibly reflash your rom as well.

this is an unrooted phone. so reflashing a rom might be a problem if i have to root it 1st.
would the best way to factory reset, to do in through settings or through recovery.
i was hoping that factory reset would be the last resort to be honest.
thanks

I think a factory reset is your best bet now. Just back up your data and everything should be fine again.
It wouldn't let me even back up my data. Lost loads. But factory reset sorted it out. Many thanks

CORRECTION,
woke up this morning and now it is saying Google play has stopped working and the phone is less usable. doing my head in now. i tried installing Google play and the error stopped. reinstalled and the problem came back/
any other help suggestions please???????
Unless you've modified something then, by flashing or restoring then your firmware is corrupting itself -probably due to nand memory failure. Try the test app from freezing thread in general forum.
I haven't knowingly changed anything in the firmware. But I have now forced an update through kies on my computer. Once again, so far so good.

nope it just resets the data and settings, which is what is most likely causing your issues. of course backup just to be safe.
So I am officially disappointed in Lollipop and can no longer take the FC of apps I use frequently and the lagginess of it all. I've tried to downgrade via Odin to an official NK2 tar and I am unable to boot after the Samsung logo appears. The screen just goes black and nothing happens, does this have to do with the bootloader? If anyone has successfully downgraded or know how, I am very interested so please share. Thank you.
Try wiping data/cache with the original recovery after you Odin to NK2
Sounds like a wipe or factory reset would have fixed lollipop for you but if you want to downgrade I don't blame you, it's nothing special. Take the advice above though, should be good to go.

Go into recovery mode volume up +home button + power . From there wipe data and cache. That should allow the phone to boot

Even after a wipe and factory reset the update harbors bugs for some reason. For me, I can't swipe the contact to make a call. Couple apps force close out of nowhere (not including the contacts issue) as well as battery life gets worse and worse. Tried just doing wipe cache partition, but seems like it doesn't do anything.. Guess I just gotta factory reset.
Let me know how that goes. Thank you.

I did and I'm glad I did! With Lollipop my battery life was cut by 3/4! Horrible! I got KitKat and did the deed on Odin and my battery life is back to normal. I'll not upgrade anymore because this seems to work fine and now I understand that battery life is a key factor in my satisfaction with they phone.
