You should consider yourself lucky that you are using LG Up 2015! Had it been old tool, you would have bricked your V10. Remember, if you have installed v20J, DO NOT roll back it by any means and also do not try to install any custom rom that is build on versions earlier than 20J otherwise your V10 will be bricked. You cannot downgrade from 20J.

Vs985 and As985

So I have this problem because I have soft bricked my phone and under the back of it, it has vs985 but when I try to use the lg flash tool to flash back the stock firmware it says wrong dll or whatever then it says something about as985, ok fine but the problem is I can't find that firmware anywhere, I have been searching for the past 2 weeks and found no download Link to it. So I guess what I'm saying is I'm looking for someone who might have this firmware and would be willing to upload it.
Thanks in advance!

You should try with Uppercut : https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/uppercut-lgup-loader-g5-variants-t3511295

Sorry for replying such an old one. But I've come across the same issue today.
It ended up solved by a repair run in LG Bridge.
Guess it's because of the anti rollback mechanism that made the phone unable to flash back to an older version?

Yeah lg bridge saved my phone lol, tbh ive given up on trying to downgrade my G4. I went through all the trouble of trying to unlock bootloader officially, only to find out i cant, and that only the EU H815(Mine is h815sea) can be unlocked??? Wtf LG? Then trying to downgrade to LP via LGUP, getting the stupid error 0x2000, searching about the error for hours, looking for solutions, and nothing has worked. Weird too because my antirollback version is 0 so i know its not that causing the error.
i want to break my LG V10 H900
anyone help me how to break in software updaing ???

Hey Guys,
I came across your posts when I too was getting the errors that you were getting and also thought that I had a bricked phone..
I am using a Verizon LG G4, VS986.
You can for sure go from MM to LL .. On the VS986 at least.. I was on the latest update.. 6.0 VS9862BA.. and downgraded to 13b
Here is the link to the procedure.... before you begin, Download the LGUP file im attaching... and when you're going through the instructions in the link, do not download or use the LGUP that they suggest.. instead, use the version that I am giving you. That version has a DLL that makes the downgrade possible (Again, I have not tested this\confirmed this on any other device besides my own phone, the Verizon LG G4 VS986)
I hope this helps.. I will keep up with this thread but if you don't get an immediate response, feel free to PM me!

Hey Marcus,
Great to hear that you were able to complete this downgrade successfully, as I am currently running a Verizon VS9862BA. I have been having trouble downgrading and have recevied the same error message as the other commentors above.
However, the LGUP version that you have included in your comment is not showing my device when I open the program. Do you have any ideas for how to get that LGUP to recognize my phone? It currently will display that the Model is 'Unknown', while displaying the correct COM port.
I believe that the problem may be related to the program simply opening when I click on it, and not installing on the system. The previous version of LGUP that I had tried installed onto my system, however your version just opens when I extract and click on the file.
Please advise,
Thanks,
Alex

Help!!! Need help!!! My LG H810 does not downgrade in any way. I'm suffering with Marshmallow 6.0 discharging the battery very fast. I want to go down to 5.1.1, but all programs refuse, give error message, even with the Uppercut. All the insatalados drivers, I do everything they have to do to circumvent the error, but the error persists, says that already has the latest version installed, or that TOT antirollback version is smaller than device version. I do not know what else to do. Is there no solution? What's left for me to do? :confuso: :chorando:

Hi, I updated to Nougat 29A and wanted to downgrade to Lollipop (I had previously successfully downgraded from MM to LL) then it bricked. Please tell me how you restored your phone via LG Bridge. Mine is stuck in Download Mode

Rooted Lollipop to Marshmallow

Can I use LGUP to flash the .kdz for marshmallow over my rooted lollipop image using upgrade option in LGUP? Yes I want to lose root. I miss android pay to much.
Yes, as long as it's the whole .kdz image and not the update it will do a complete wipe of your phone to factory.
Is there a non OTA method to get to MM from LL?

i could use it too. i want to root my lg v10 and need the backup firmware in case something goes wrong. did you ever root yours, and how did u do it? i see tutorials on using a bunch of b.s, but from my understanding, this phones bootloader is already unlockable. so, wouldnt fastboot oem unlock, then flash twrp and supersu work? thanks

Installed V30c from here with no problems, using LGUP.
Used it to recover my phone from brick.
I was rooted and custom recovery on V30c and accidentally accepted OTA for v30d.
Then I was stuck on bootloop in TWRP. I flashed stock recovery and that was it.
Then I lost root and wanted to relock bootloader. After relocking, it was a very big mess.

Hello, i can see many different Region options to download. I can download from TMF, TMI, TMO or TMZ. Did you use TMO which i understand could stand for T-Mobile?
Ok, i ended up downloading 30D from Android File Host and it worked fine.
H90130d is the latest one....
