Boys every time you restart your smartphone, all icons are removed from the files, they in fact lose the entire organization of the desktop ... How can you solve? And someone else has the same problem?

Okay, I don't know if you are on latest firmware or which region your sitting in, but my advice would be to update to latest firmware, if the problem continues you could do a 3-button recovery and through stock recovery try to factory reset.

Try rebooting the phone at first, if that did not help do a data factory reset. After that if not solved you might reflash a stock rom. Still no remedy, take it to the shop/repair center.

Am I missing something here? At what point did they even mention rooting the phone? And rooting is still the best way of disabling bandwidth hungry ads in apps.

There are a lot of Tutorials. Just try the search.

What type of flickering? This may sound stupid, but it is a legit question. Try making a photo of it.
If it is going downwards in bar-like formation, it's the display.
If it is blinking, it is Android, or a loose connection...

Well if you are afraid then you should just drop that idea of flashing a rom..
But AFAIK if you read everything you should know and do evrything corrrectly then you would have no problem..

Updated my GS5 this morning to G900TUVU1ANE5 with Odin, so far the phone feels faster ( opening camera/Gallery) no UI changes except for the new Wi-Fi Calling toggle on the notification bar.
Just receive the update OTA and my phone is much more responsive. Opening apps, camera, etc

You're on it Beans! Do you plan on rebasing Alliance on the new OTA?
I hope this isn't a dumb question, but. ... can we assume that the update is "safe" to take OTA? What I mean is, are we pretty sure tmobile is not going to lock the bootloader in an update?
