hey all, and thanks in advance for your help.
ive rooted my galaxy s3 and install the cyanogenmod 10.1 on it. i want now to unroot my device and add the original os, my phone is intentional, (bought it from a computer store and not from celular company), anyway what i need is help where i can find the international stock image, and how should i do it ? im really rookie with all those things, so tutorials for beginners wil help me lol

No, you can't. The demo version lacks the GSM "package" (antennas, sensors), whatver you need to do call.Some says that you have to change the motherboard.

Hi, in the german zte forum has come up the concern that the Nougat update for our device brought up some spyware in form of TencentNetworkLocation which seems to replace google network location service and sends all location data to servers in china.

Unfortunately zte has not yet given any comment on that matter, so i thought posting it to a greater comunity with probably the chance to get a bigger discussion on that subject would probably get their attention on this.

I will quickly sum up what has been found out about TencentNetworkLocation app.
It is used as location provider. Deleting it will result in not being able to determin where you are (a workaround might be flashing GApps to have Google providing the location)
It cannot be deactivated nor deleted
Data collected is dumped to the sd card and includes the following:
IMEI number
Cell information
WIFI information including all surrounding WIFIs without names but with signal strength and MAC address
Data is said to be sent to qq.com
This is a quick summary about what is written in the German ZTE forum.
A sideeffect not mentioned yet is that all locations in any app are displayed in chinese, this is annoying...

What is the file name?
Maybe we can find it on titanium backup?

You can use TWRP to delete the APK. First mount system R/W. Then find the APK in system/priv-app/TencentNLP and delete. Then wipe Davlik cache for good measure. I made a backup of system/priv-app/TencentNLP to SD card just in case it needs to be restored.
Titanium is only a solution for rooted users, if i mod my device, i flash linageos and am rid of all mifavour at once, but they spy on all non rooted users, this should be a news itsm actually...

Maybe I made a mistake.
I already had deleted tencentNLP
But on my device (custom stock rom) I had qualcomm.lovation.XT already installed.
It seems to be a similar app just with leaks to Korea.
What should help.....
Clear data of the tencent location app in settings > apps .
Then delete all logs in Tencent/sdklog folder.
Restart phone and no more logfiles are created and locations are not any longer in chinese.
Btw...I deactivated ZTE Service as well, as it was talking to much to chinese servers

There's no ZTE Service app in my app list but I tried all the rest of it with no success. I still get locations in Chinese and it quickly recreated the file 'txwatchdog' in the log folder containing a lot of local WiFi info (MAC addresses etc).
Not only mac adress, even imsi codes and what not including location data. Actually there is a complete movement profile i guess.

They will remove it with the next update.
However, no statement about the email app.
Interesting, this makes sense because I took a picture with location on, and for some reason it said it was taken in China in some factory.
I just received the B04 update (in Denmark) and can confirm that Tencent app is no longer present and that I get the correct location in my own native language.
Is this the case for the 2017U model as well?

AFAIK Tencent Network Location Provider was never part of the A2017U ROM.

When I saw the "qq.com" I knew he had struck again. He is listed on Google Playstore as Zzte and at software developer email address [email protected].
THIS HACKER IS TARGETING METROPCS AND/OR ZTE. I wrote ZTE and Google and Metropcs re update in July 2018 for my zte zmax pro. My officially sanctioned unlocked Z981 had to be REMOTELY UNLOCKED BY METROPCS AFTER THAT SYSTEM UPDATE. The guy cloned tbe System Update file name com.zte.zdm and rewrote sim to read all valuesbas null. Contact me if you want more info.

i have recently purchased mate 10 lite & i want to unlock boot loader.
there are number of pages who are saying that huawei no wont give unlock code & there are very expensive 3rd party services
but i have seen many here who have unlocked their phones .
i really want to root my phone to install custom rom .. Please help me guys it is requested !

Im looking for unlock bootloader same than you but no find any place to make it, the 4 webpages that i see have the service closed, need wait to a possible future solution i still waiting in oreo version (8.0.0.150)
