Tried sultanxda's CM13? I got the most from it, but performance wise AOSP based ROMs are the best.

I've used Sultan's CM 13..its performance is not that good comparing with OOS 3.1.3
Try Turbo ROM with Arsenic Kernel it's got most of all the features you need and I normally get 4+ SOT.

I would have to agree with turbo. With custom kernel and some battery saving tweaks got the highest out of any ROM. Next would be Sultan CM. If you don't want to mess around with kernel it's great out of the box.

Try Dirty Unicorns v10.5 with blackreactor stable v.2. Use battery friendly mode sot around 5+
Over 4 hours sot you will get with almost any stable rom available here and of course with OOS 3. Actually with OOS 3 I'm using now (and I dont seam to change for a long time) I get about 4.5 sot in average.
Omicron Technics
I use oos 3.1.1 and easily get approx 5 hours of SOT at the end of day. I am also using greenify or Naptime which effectively save my battery drain in night. Without these apps, battery drop is 7 - 10 % in night.

I'm at OOS 3.13 but only getting around 3 hrs of SOT ! What seems to be the problem ? :/ Phone was rooted on 3.1.2 but flashed 3.1.3 over 3.1.2 and didn't root the phone later...
You can root your phone by flashing modified supersu zip
After flashing if supersu icon shows in menu and when opening supersu and it show "binary file failed to update" then install kingroot app & root your opx with kingroot(don't remove supersu app till).
Now your phone is rooted with kingroot app so we have to replace supersu with kingroot.
By going through this link you can replace kingroot with supersu.
I tried this process and supersu working smoothly.
http://missingtricks.net/replace-kingroot-kinguser-with-supersu-superuser-android-guide/
But how do you make 5 SOT? I RR Sultan-ized, kernel Black Reactor, Root and Governor optimized for drums can do barely 4 SOT at the end of the day, but just barely eh, that do not know, any version I try I can not ever overcome 4 SOT, I think that my battery or be burned or flawed, because it can not be explained otherwise, here everyone can take 5-6-7 hours SOT but I can not understand.
I wonder why nobody here creating the modified version of H2OS that have a bloatware removed and Gapps by default? I think this would be the most stable ROM for OPX.

Not use to play heavy games. I think the background apps
May drain the battery and in my case i installed naptime
Which closes all the background apps and save lots of juice.

What rom would you all suggest to use on it ?
Has any one use www smiui net to cook a rom?
Do you have any issues with certain roms ? And do they all have gapps installed for playstore and chrome.

Dumb question, but is there any difference between the one you've linked and this one? AFAIK mine is the "official" one with only English/Chinese language, yours adds German, French etc etc?

Yes, the rom on en.miui.com have only English and Chinese and no gapps, but it's official.
Xiaomi.eu rom have many languaged and gapps but it's unofficial

You can also use AOSP if you like stock android. I am currently using and everything works except HDR. Battery life is worse than miui but with exposed and a few tweaks you can improve it to >5h SOT and almost 0.01% phone idle drain (in 8 hours over night battery was at same level i left it ).

Which AOSP Rom and xposed module / tweaks are you using? There are many out there and i always test new ones, but none had a 0.01% idle drain. Most time it's 8% in 10h. SOT is the same everywhere, but i got 6h with my rom, but like i said, the idle drain is a bit too much for having great SOT all the time.

sAOSP and mostly amplify + greenify. About idle drain; i am not sure if it really is 0,01% (in battery stats it says like 20% idle drain but battery was as i left it 10 hours earlier), maybe i am wrong or something ? also i saw it on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-0-0-hour-idle-battery-drain-stock-t2973588 and seems to work. And how did you get 6h sot on your rom ? i can't get more than 4h .

Thanks i will try amplify. I really don't know how my phone could handle 6h and 10min sot. I just wanted to make a test and i didn't throttle my cpu or anyting. I was expecting 4h maybe 4 1/2 hours, but it just didn't want to go out of battery. At the beginning i surfed a bit in the internet and then played a few games, but after a few hours it was guite boring so i decided to let it play youtube videos for nearly an hour. Than the last half hour games again, with the hope, that the sot test ends here and it did. I was very surprised from the result. The only problem on my rom was the idle drain, even with woking deepsleep...
Hello folks
Currently I am on Stock OOS 2.2.1 with Blu spark kernel 161. Currently I get 5-6 HR SOT with wifi and calling around 1hr in 24hrs time.
However if I use 3G I merely get 3-4 hr SOT and phone heats up within 10 mins.
My main priority is Battery and camera. I am planning to change ROM but I am confused.
Please suggest me a good ROM/Kernel combination as a daily driver bug free and with good battery life.
There are many roms available and I cannot try each one. Secondly if it is possible to get good life in OOS by optimizing kernel, it is also welcome.
Now many *experts* will say that it depends on usage and varies accordingly. I know this is true but apart from all variation still exists.
P.S.- Those who are using blu spark kernel and getting a good battery life, please share the optimization.
Xosp with Blu or boefla kernel seems to work best for some (up to 7 hours sot). Didn't give as extreme results for me, most roms with Blu spark seem to be able to give 5 to 6 hours. I'm on dirty unicorns now and happy. Sultan's and Temasek's cm worked fine too for me...
Try XOSP Rom.

Any bugs in Xosp? How is camera quality?
Do I need to configure Kernel settings if I use custom one ?
You should try Sultans Unofficial CM 13 as your main priorities are battery and camera.
It has got Sultans Camera HAL and also has kernel underclocked at 1.9 GHz with his thermal control driver which gives great battery life and ROM feels very smooth too.

No bugs. It looks great. Camera is same in all Roms. There is no need of configuring the stock kernel, though you can configure or use a different kernel. Just try it out. You can see the screenshots posted in the thread. I have tried a lot of Roms but them I revert to xosp only.

Is anyone using any kernels with OOS 3.1.4? How's the battery life treating you?
Also, is there a version of bluespark for 3.1.4? I couldnt find any working builds in the bluespark thread.
I´m using arsenic kernel with the recommended profile. To be honest is nothing special, it´s just a bit better than stock kernel. When phone is idle battery loses around 3%.
I think bluspark does not support 3.1.4, he abandoned development I think.

What are you on currently? Whats your best setup?
I have stock OOS 3.1.4 with arsenic kernel, greenify and Naptime.
I haven´t found the best profile for me yet, so I use the recommended profile in arsenic´s kernel (interactive cpu). Battery profile lags a bit for what I want.
As I play games a little bit more, I only have around 4hrs SOT.

With the following combination (AOSPEx 0417 build and Helix Engine) I'm getting a minimum of 6.5 hours SOT - I'm not joking...

P. S. I don't recommend any newer builds of AOSPEx currently, as the dev switched the kernel to EAS and hasn't tuned it properly yet.
I've included a screenshot of my current SOT, which is 3:20, at 41% battery usage...
please, as the link to build 0417 does not work, if you can put it back or say where it can be found?

Yes i tried and it works
The best battery ROMs are often problematic because they cause stumbling in the interface.
I tried the Baikol ROM saying there is a battery saver but I couldn't try the setting because the settings part is in English.
AOSIP ROM is best for me.
I get an average of 4-5 hours of SOT.
You shouldn't expect a miracle anyway, it's a 1 hour SOT difference between all ROMs.
The important thing is that you need to take a look at which one meets your trouble.

Hello,
I'm looking for a rom and a good kernel that is very good on battery life. Also I want to try out the debloated MIUI. Where can I find it?
And is it true that the MIUI rom is the best for battery life?
try Xiaomi Eu rom ,with notification mod and restricted every app that you don't need so much. you might wanna clean rom more ,use lucky patcher and cleaned the rom. i did it my self.. trust me much better..
I am myself testing with Pixel Experience and the LKT magisk module. so far 2h of screen on time with only 20% battery drain, so i'd expect 8 to 10 hours of SoT just like that.
I've also heard malakas kernel has superceded Sphynx/FrancoKernel as the most battery friendly kernel you can install, but i have not tested that.
In the past, xiaomi.eu has given me better battery life than lineage/phh-treble in previous devices ( Mi MAX 3 ) so maybe combining xiaomi.eu + malakas kernel + lkt and maybe disabling half of your cores would give you a lot more SoT. I'll definitely post my findings in a few weeks on the SoT thread after i compare my current setup vs what i've just proposed.

At 299 euros, it's cheaper than getting, let's say, the BQ Aquaris X2 or the Zenfone Max Pro M2 for some unholy reason. and as a glorified Discord machine and music player... 2 high perf cores and 2 low perf cores are more than enough. and i get a battery boost on top of that!

There is this app called Naptime from the author of Franco Kernel that forces doze no matter what as soon as your screen goes off. so that should also help with miui rom sleep delays.
as for running themn on a lower frequency, i've found that chrome loves crash (locking the whole system up with it) if i make them go slow enough, so disabling half the cores at the stock speed seems to be doing the trick for me. Maybe both can be done within reason for some extra gains though
i think you should use revo os or miuipro. And uninstall apps magisk module terminal debloater or es file explorer.I am used pocof1 basic debloat.xml import terminal debloater and after other apps opened system apps and priv apps es file explorer andddddd delete folders

Considering deep sleep, would it be beneficial to go with NOS and Malakas kernel for even better battery? I mean there should be less bloatware and deep sleep could be less of a problem.
