SM-G925F Processing failed error help! - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I'm from Philippines yesterday I updated my firmware via Smartswitch to 6.0.1 latest I assume. Now after that the phone is slow so I decided to do factory reset, afterwards initial setup as usual, It asked me for my google was able to comply, however, when I tried my previous Samsung account it says Processing failed. I tried using my other Samsung accounts but didn't work. Tried flashing to downgrade however I am encountering fail status on Odin. I hope someone can assist me on this one thanks!

1st its impossible to downgrade. You have to stay on 6.0.1 you can't go back. Processing fail on samsung account means incorrect username/password. You need the correct samsung account otherwise you wont be able to get on even if you flash another firmware. Can i ask did you use a googlemail adress for your samsung account? I ask because i had this problem and i had to put my email in samsung account as gmail.com not googlemail.com

Not sure if this was ever resolved, but I'm having a similar problem; I just created my Samsung account, but now I can't access it, even with correct email and password. Get the error message "processing failed." If I try another password, it tells me "invalid username or password," so I know there's a problem with the link to my account.

I had this problem and it was weird. I was putting my email as @googlemail.com which was in fact correct. I kept getting processing error. I tried @gmail.com after 2 days of trying and it accepted it.

I've been trying for a few days now, finally decided to call Samsung and have it sent off. They should be able to unlock it.

That's why it failed in the first place. Do not try that.

[Q] Odin to Stock - Can't Log Into Google Accounts

I recently made the mistake of updating my phone with the new OTA with Ryans lagfix still on my phone. The update failed me to the constant Vibrant/Samsung screen and all I could do is Odin my phone back to stock. Now I am back to facory settings, but have a new problem:
When I try to log into my google account via phone/Desktop browser it says my username or password is incorrect. I know I am entering my ID and Password correctly, but I am still unable to log in. On my phone, once I enter the ID and password, it brings me to the CAPTCHA page. I enter the correct letters and it goes to the signing in screen then back to CAPTCHA. This cycle keeps repeating.
When i try to log into Google on my PC it gives me the same User ID or Password incorrect. Again, I know what my information is since I've been using it for 3-4 years and up until yesterday it worked fine. Is it possible that using Odin to bring my phone back to stock borked my google accounts?

[Q] Cannot log in to Samsung account

I cannot login to the Samsung account which is needed when you want to check for updates.
It says 'signing in', shows me the "T&C" and when I click 'accept' it says again 'signing in' and again shows the "T&C:" and so on.
Not rooted. Build number ZSFK4.
cheers.

Tried it. Still doesn't work. I even opened another account just to try it but I get the same result!
hi, I have exactly the same probleem. I've created an account on samsung.com and then tried to enter in my galaxy s 2, and it does exactly the same like yours.
"It says 'signing in', shows me the "T&C" and when I click 'accept' it says again 'signing in' and again shows the "T&C:" and so on."
I've tried contacting samsung.de per email, but Samsung give me after 6 emails only solutions like: try it an other browser or reset your device to factory.
Reseting to factory settings i tryed, and the probleem is the same like befor. other browser i can not try because i try to insert it in the device...
My device is a Product Code: GT-I9100LKALUX from Luxembourg (I live there)
It is original rom and unchanged not rooted. tryed @ 3 accounts now no one works.
and sry for the bad englich im not goot speaking it

[Q] Samsung account "Processing failed" / Cannot upgrade officially

Hi guys,
I just got a new SGS2 yesterday (had 2 other before, nevermind) and after starting it (setting up google account etc), I tried to update firmware from the phone's menu , officially, as it came with 2.3.4. Tried to log in to Samsung account and every time I got "processing failed" error. Of course I upgraded via Odin, but I am wondering, why does this happen? Whats the issue? Can it be fixed, so that I upgrade via phone's menu?
Thank you!
As OTA does not work for all you use Kies to upgrade .
jje
same problem here,
I am getting this error recently. I'm using xwlp7 with siayh kernel 3.1rc3.
Since i am not able to log in to may samsung account, I'm not able to use samsung dive services and Samsung Apps.
I tried to recreate my acount, and nothing cahnged. I even made a new account with another email address and still getting same message.
I tried with a LPQ rom, which I had amanged to activate Samsung Account on that, but this it didn't work.
I emailed samsung and they asked me to call them, but I'm 140% sure that when i tell them I am on ICS which is not released for my region, the answer would be "it's your fault to go on a unofficial rom, we can't do anything".
Same problem, after upgrade from 2.3.6 to 4.0.3

in fact, right after the firmware upgrade, Samsung Account is updated, and you can't enter the password if you don't accept it.
Hi,
I had the same problem as you guys. Here is the solution.
- Go to Samsung web (account.samsung.com) to login if you have an account.
- Click profile and then on the unsubscribe button after login. This will remove your login details from Samsung.
- Come back to the Galaxy settings and click accounts and sync.
-Click add account. Then click Samsung and signup again as a new user.
This will fix the problem.
Hope this helps.

If you've previously bought some apps/games from Samsung Apps, would this method still allow you to re-download those bought apps after you've created a new user?
K.
EDIT : Strangely, whether coincidence or not, I logged into my account via web browser on my PC, then changed my password - my phone is signing in successfully again! Or it could have easily been some server problem on Sammy's end which they've fixed just as I changed my password. Hope this helps someone.

I even tried new account and it didn't work. The thing is when I enter a wrong password it says 'wrong password', but with the right on just gave me 'can not process now'.

I have found a different and easy way, (i have tried other solutions but didnt work);
First Log in Samsung Account in your mobile, and then enter/login here with your web browser and click: Find my mobile; http://findmymobile.samsung.com
When it finds your mobile phone in map, try to register your mobile phone with your S3.
Thats it.
My friend I can not find the unsubscribe button that you are talking about where is it ???

I had the same problem, just remove any account you have linked to the device, with mine it worked erasing the gmail account. Hope that works
A unique solution...
Hi guys,
First go to this link and download samsung account update.apk
http://android-apk.org/apk/com.osp.app.signin/1.6.0086/manish-swami/samsung+account/
It worked on my note 3 n-9005
Install it after that download sns provider app from samsung apps for facebook and games sync ...it works
Try and let me know...
Thanks
Hi
I had this problem as well.
Solution: Go to Settings -> Accounts -> Samsung account -> remove your account.
The box should pop up again requesting an Update for your Samsung account, and should run successfully when you click 'OK'. Then you can just proceed to sign in with your existing account login details.
hi mate thanks I use the OTG cable method to run the .apk
it takes me to settings
but when I click on > add a "Samsung account"
it pushes me back out onto the "add account page"
BUT if I press to add ANY other type of an account (Gmail, drop box, etc ...) it works fine
ALSO if I try to go to "Backup and reset" > "Factory data reset" and press "RESET DEVICE" nothing happens ... I press it again and again and no reaction
totally sucks
any ideas?
more info:
I have tried 6 methods so far ... to no avail ..
worst part? is that this is my phone for past 3 years that i purchased brand new from an official store! and I paid $540 USD for it...
when i enter a wrong password i get "Invalid ID or password"
but when i enter correct one I get: "in progress" ... "signing in..." ... AND THEN "Processing failed"
i go to account.samsung.com login successfully .. i see all correct info ... my mobile # etc ..
I have lost trust in super giant company Samsung that got too big .. it doesn't know
I will try to go to the official service center .. with proof of purchase ..
if for some reason they will not help me i will need to try to use software called "Odin" to flash OS ... big risk that it will be a permanent brick where even the service center will refuse to help ..
==================
What is the "Reactivation lock" option?
FAQ
"Reactivation lock" prevents other persons from using your device that is lost. To reactivated your device that is locked by Reactivation lock, you must log into your Samsung account again. So you must remember the user ID and password against emergencies.

it probably takes you to settings so you can enable "unknown resources" so that you can be able to install the app!!

yes they probably will refuse to help you because this is an OUTDATED phone, and they won't bother, they will say "buy a new one!".
Odin isn't a Risk at all!!!!
well... it's if you flashed the wrong firmware, but using it is a Peace of Cake, you just need to download the right Firmware for your phone from SamMobile, and if you prefer tutorials there are millions!!, and if you prefer personal help, i can help you

I'm new in XDAdevelopers
I have tried what you wrote and I still have the same error "processing failed" I deleted my samsung account and crearted a new one many times and I still can't do it.
is there another way?. Sorry for my bad English.
[I have a samsung galaxy s5 active (AT&T)]
oh, btw I updated my phone via ODIN (5.1.1) and this happens when I turn on my phone (factory reset/wiped all data) like brand new and I can't pass through the "samsung account":crying::crying::crying::crying:
All of this is predicated on the ability to GET IN THE PHONE. Mine is locked pursuant to a "factory reset" some thieves did to it, and it wants me to prove I'm the owner by signing into my Samsung account. That is useless when "processing failed" comes up every time. I can't utilize any of these fixes because I CANT GET INTO THE PHONE because of the processing failure. It seems to me that if so many people have had this problem, Samsung ought to FIXIT!
Hi,
I bought a Galaxy note 4 and made a Samsung account that is linked to this phone. Recently, I was compelled to do a factory reset. Every time I go through the steps of opening my phone, there is a step asking for the Samsung account's email and password to see if it belongs to me. I typed the SAME email I ever used in this phone. But always a message shows saying"processing failed". I changed the password from the website "account.samsung.com" and waited for 2 days but still have the same problem.
Please help me regarding this issue.
Thanks.
Hi,
Had the same problem but a much more simple solution: My tablets date and time was way off (because of some resetting) - after changed to current time (actually using "network time" or similar) finally I get past the error "software update processing failed" (or actually it was in Danish "godkendelse mislykkedes").
Good luck..

[HELP] Unable to OTA update following device encryption

Hi,
I have a Galaxy S3 (I9300), and recently encrypted the device to enable to me to use my employer's exchange email service (NHS.net). The encryption process went without issue and my phone has been working normally since (about 2 weeks). However I have now received a message for a 170Kb OTA firmware update for the phone. When I click "Update now" is says the following:
Unable to update new software. Device is encrypted. Decrypt?
Click to collapse
If I click OK it takes me to the "Security and lock screen" sub-menu in settings. In here the "Encrypt device" button is greyed out (as expected) and there seems to be nothing more to do. The update does not proceed. If I click cancel the device re-prompts me later anyway.
The problem is that my device keeps on prompting me to update with my only two options either to proceed as above (and get nowhere) OR postpone the update for up to 3 hours and get prompted again.
So now I am trapped in a situation where my device is nagging me to update but gives me no way to do so. As far as I am aware, encryption of an android device is irreversible without a factory reset so I am confused as to why the firmware update even asks for it?
Am I missing something here or is this a crappily designed security update from Samsung? I really don't want to have to factory reset my device then re-download all my software AND re-encrypt my device to use my email for a 170kb update; especially if this will happen again!
Any advice would be much appreciated,
Thanks

Hi,
Tried Samsung Kies repeatedly; it downloads the update and then during the "Firmware upgrade in progress" times out after an hour.
Looks like I am the only person experiencing this problem; may have to factory reset the device after all.

You are not the only one, I am experiencing the exact same problem with encrypted device and not being able to install updates.
So far I have not been able to find a solution.
Manually apply OTA updates is in testing and a few have got it to work: I cant post a link but I did a search on these forums and found a tread about it.
Hope we can find the answer
Encrypted GALAXY S3 update
I am experiencing the exact same problem with encrypted device and not being able to install updates as my device is encrypted due to the Exchange! Hope someone already solved this issue? TIA

Same problem here. I would appreciate any idea. OTA updates usually work fine with my Asus Transformer, so this should be a Samsung related problem.

Update: For my phone, it actually seems possible to decrypt the device via the Security Menu. Samsungs support told me that this has to be done before the update can be installed....
I was also getting this a few weeks ago but when I connected to my pc and ran the update through Kies it updated without having to decrypt first
I've now removed my exchange connection to nhs.net and decrypted so unable to test

I realize this thread is a little old but i'll reply anyway. I've seen on other forums that your enterprise email is causing the issue. You have to remove your enterprise email/exchange acct in order to decrypt the device. Once removed, the option to decrypt should be available. You may then accept the OTA. Your phone is only doing what it's told to do by the exchange server. It might be a ***** to remove the account but i think it would still be easier than a factory reset.

Thanks for the post haddy17. We have investigated that option but when you're working with potentially thousands of staff/employees, it's a tad cumbersome to have them remove, upgrade, reconfigure. If it were just me, it would be fine. We're currently trying to get a response from Samsung and while we have made some progress, it's not clear where the end may be...
You are probably using Exchange servers? One way could be to change ActiveSync policy to not require encryption on device. This is selectable feature. Or maybe create two policies and move clients between them from request of user.
There are still shortcomings what comes to corporate security and Android mobiles (well there are issues on other platforms too)

Can't access phone after factory reset

Hello, I did a factory reset this morning, on the first boot phone asks to configure the wifi settings as usual, then gmail account, after checking account it asks me to log in with one account that was previously sincronized on the phone (wich is the same account I tried to log in in the first place and the only account ever used on this phone) I tried several times but no succes, always the same, after login with the google account it goes back to "check your account" I don't know what else to do, the phone is on stock marshmallow 6.0, bootloader is locked. If I log in with my google account on PC, I can see that the phone conected with that account, dont know why this is happening, I've made factory resets on my moto g3 several times and never had this problem before. Hope you can help me to solve this
