I know that kenzo supports Intra-band Contiguous. I think it supports Inter-band non-contiguous. It seems I was wrong.
Is there any apk via which i can check carrier aggregation

Original thread
Are this kernel sources complete? Or partially released?

well. that's good news.
Good to know.

Can anyone check if the Kernel Source limit the usage of LTE bands? That would be important to know for this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-3/help/managed-to-unlock-lte-bands-t3330342
Thanks.
The source still have code problems.
Has anyone managed to boot any custom kernel on their device? As far as I'm concerned every single ROM, available for Redmi 3 (whether it is CM12/13, Resurrection Remix or else) run stock kernels, built by Xiaomi. I tried to compile CM 12 kernel, CM 13 kernel, Open Source Xiaomi kernel, I used gcc 5, gcc 4, UberTC, Google toolchain, I tried modular kernel, monolithic one with no success. It just doesn't boot, though it has the same version and build settings as a stock one.
So am I doing something wrong or Redmi 3 is indeed vendor-locked to boot only Xiaomi kernels?
From the forums I would think no one has gotten it to boot in a custom kernel. I would very much like it if it were possible.
the sources for redmi 3 have not been fully released.. I don't think we will see a full working custom kernel for a while

I'd love a custom kernel. Trouble is I'm not good at coding. Seems Xiaomi is mercilessly difficult about releasing the source code, something I thought was illegal, and this device is locked up as tight as fort Knox.

its actually supposed to be only the mtk devices that source code was difficult to release. qualcomm is usually better in this aspect, even if it is slow. it was like this for samsung as well. we eventually got the codes for everything, just later than what everyone else would have wanted
I recently updated my Z with a pre-rooted ROM, and now my camera crashes every time I connect the camera mod. Does anyone have this working, or is this a known problem?

Just a couple questions:
- You flashed the EU Pre Rooted ROM right? (the EU is the only one pre-rooted so far)
- Are you using an EU device?
- Did you factory reset and all that after flashing the pre-rooted ROM?
- Do you have other mods other than the Hasselblad?
U can't use the hasselblad in that version, the support is on a recent firmware.

Ah; yes - I AM using the EU ROM... So, do you think I should revert back to the stock US ROM, and then just manually flash SuperSU.zip?

EU and US aren't on the same build version wise? The EU models don't support the Hasselblad mod?

Every moto z supports the Hasselblad obviously, but only on recent firms, because this mod came out after the launch of the phone.
U need a firmware with a compilation number 24.246-45 (the last number needs to be 45).

Hello guys, with xiaomi amazfit pace i can control my xiaomi devices of mi home app? I need to install a custom ROM to have this feature? Thanks

Pace Chinese ROMs have some Mi related apps, like Home and Control. Most probably Stratos CN ROM does too. But why your title says BIP??

My mistake... The title should be for Pace and not for Bip. Is there any english custom ROM with feature the control mi devices?

I use stock, so I cannot tell you for sure, but a simple search will help... Any CN based ROM should work. I think PACEfied is.

Hello Team,
Can anyone confirm if the Mi 8 Lite has NFC? I have read conflicting reports. I don't think it does but want to make sure. See attachment.
If it does have it, can you confirm you are using the global ROM?
Cheers
I'm on global stable 10 and no NFC
